i have a 2007 530xi e60 with a similar black fuse box that you were prying open. i broke the tab in my first try then gave up for another day. then by chance i saw your video here. YES!!! now i know how to get that stupid sliding tab out to get at the fuses. THANK YOU!!! The reason for getting at the fuse is because there is a BMW recall of the PCV Valve Heater, or a Heated Oil Separator Angle Connector. The part is prone to melting and causes possible fire. When the component melts, it causes a break in the circuit it's connected to, which is the same circuit that is used to heat the O2 sensors; this causes it to throw ALL 4 O2 heater circuit codes. affects a large number of vehicles in the US . The Service Engine Soon light (ses) doesn't go off because the fuse (number 4, 30A) keeps blowing because the PCV valve is melted(could not confirm on my E60). anyhow, I had BMW change the valve, now all i have to do is change the fuse and the ses will turn off - i hope. if anyone else has the same problem with all 4 02 sensors throwing codes, search for "the solution" in this link: www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8201900 Thank You Again!
You guys seem to always have videos helping with my next problem or project. Thanks ever so much. I'm not that sharp with general mods and the like. Having someone holding my digital hand is great!
well, i still can't get the sliding cap off. theres a tab on each side and one on the other side just like you said. but i can't figure out how to open it without breaking it. any help appreciated.
Great video =) Electrical Car Repair, i under if you can make a video someday about change engine mounts on bmw e90/e91/e93 or replace a FAP on same car??
I have a 2008 535 XL I put me a motor in it it turned over three times and it pops something and now I can't get it to crank it's resting with the key and that I'm checking the ECU unit computer and it's got like 2.3 and 4.3 volts coming through it is that correct

I have a 2010 X5 x30drive. It will crank but won't start. I replaced fuel pump relay, crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, and ignition switch. I'm not getting power to the fuel pump because there's no power to the fuel pump relay. I checked the ECU/Main relay fuse. I only see one 20amp fuse at the hood. Am I missing something? Should there be a relay/fuses at the hood? Please help. Car is in garage for 6 weeks now. Thanks

I have a 2008 and my 40 amp fuse is located differently than the car your working on and I’m not seeing the fuse box down in the DME location
Same on my 2010. Just tore it apart for no reason. I just have one 40 amp and a relay fuse in there
Can you do a video on 2011 f10 no communication to dme and transmission
Great video. Thnx. Where is the fuel pump relay on a 2011 328i?
Thank you very much. this video helped me solve a headache on a 5 series.
Hi bro May i ask what the problem was ?
BMW E65/E66 ECM DME ECU engine computer fuse location and replacement video please

Thanks man. Do you a video for bmw f10 please?
GREAT GUYS, BUT NOTICE THEY NEVER WORK ON A OILY DIRTY CAR LOL WASH AND PRE/PREP
I have e83 2007 and I blew the 20a fuse on top of DMe access. Acting like DME is dead, maybe crank sensor. Thanks for any feedback your videos are #1
hey, idk if it’s too late or if you’ll respond around now but i think i have the same problem. what was going on with your car?
Do you think a blown fuse would cause a DME malfunction? I am getting a 2D67 code, could it be because of a blown fuse?
That blown fuse will it cause my car only to crank and not start
Great video =) Electrical Car Repair, i under if you can make a video someday about change engine mounts on bmw e90/e91/e93 or replace a FAP on same car??

What happens if this fuse is broke or whatever ?
Hi thanks for your time I have BMW X5 no starting I have code UO100 any suggestions
I cannot find that box at all!!?
Isn't that fuse for the tank ventilation?
is this the same for a 13 x1??
Why doesn't my 3 series have those fuses?
2008 e90 DOES NOT have those fuses in there, checking it out now, pulled out all
Did you ever find it? I want to check my ECU fuse but don't know where it's at?
I also could not find it
2011 e90 320
I pull everything out too, all i ever find was 2 relays and a 40 fuse on the left side, but not lil box with fuses in,
Has anybody gotten the U110F code and how to get the car to start?

I did not like that you skipped the process of releasing the 3 clips that are terribly hard to release and get the top of the block to slide
Go cry in the shouwer big bear

Empress242 Rolle does yo our car crank but no start ? If so and this fixed it please let me know
2006 x5 where is ecm fuse or relay
BMW definitely in the running for some of the least accessible electronic components with deliberately asinine packaging.
my car is not there
Where is the box
More questions then answers dude. Terribly made video.
