Gday everyone and welcome back to another video.
In todays video, i headed out to a spot ive never fished before. Didnt have the highest hopes in mind but its always exciting fishing new ground. And exciting it was, because i managed to find the estuary perch honey hole. Ended up getting onto 10+ fish and having a cracker of a day.

As soon as you went to a location sheltered from the wind with slightly warmer water temperatures you hooked up first cast. Good lesson.

hey josh the reason the perch are up the front of the system is because they head down there to breed in winter, sick vid and congrats on the pb, that was a solid run!

Next time you are at the tackle Shop, see if you can find some Atomic Prongs. They are killer for bream and flatties. Motor oil gold and Red pumpkin are my two favourite colours. These are my go-to estuary plastics, and have been slaying the fish up here on the mid North coast 👍

Just watched this one again Josh because a mate of mine was fishing the same spot on the weekend , and got 20 plus there . Biggest was 42 . Good spot mate . He lives in Parra but his folks live in your neck of the woods . 🤙🎣
Good video Josh. Know those spots and canals very well where you were fishing and definitely surprised to see EP caught in that last spot. Unfortunately these August winds can make finding a spot near impossible, but keep up the good work.
Yeah the winds are shocking this time of year. I was just as surprised to see ep there as well👀
I fish that system a lot. Near the entrance is good! I've gotten some good fatties from there
Yeah I’ve heard of big flatties in that area. Lots of big girls get pulled from there

Top video mate love my ep. my favourite estuary fish hands down on light tackle. The ecogear 35mm blades are the best eps by the way 😜😜
I have one of those blades. Never thought to use it for perch. Will for sure give it a go next time there is perch around😄

Great vid Josh, the first bridge you where fishing is normally my go to spot in that area, bream, trevally, flathead. I've been told before the EP school up in that system, looks like you found that spot mate, loving your TH-cam channel Josh well done.

Yep that's my spot, every time I see the family down that way, I do rounds fishing all the sections of that system, still havnt caught a perch there yet, your quality fisherman josh, well done mate.

I'm surprised of how many good fish can be in easturys not long ago I got a 50cm silver trevally and that pulled some string
Yeah. I feel like more people fishing for the sport of fishing instead of keep a feed every time. Increases the amount of good fish in the system🙌🏼

Yea the estuaries have been tough as. Funny you say chase reds. I filmed cinematics intro everything and didn’t get a red for 2 days straight off the rocks. Next day went to the spot in this vid and got onto some ep thankfully
