Everyone likes to point out Jordan Davis great play chasing down Josh Allen but I rewatched that game and JD was absolutely DOMINANT in over time vs the Bills.. They tried running the ball 3 or 4 times and JD made every tackle at the line or behind the LOS.. Alos had some good pass rushes.. Go back and watch that overtime trust me..

I have been a Stephon Gilmore fan for his entire career(minus last year)going all the way back to his college days at South Carolina. If you notice, not many ppl have tslkes abiut this, when DeSai was operating the Defense the players looked way better than when PATRICIA took over... Since DeSai ran the D more like Fangio, i think, our defense is going to be top 10 overall and thats going to be cuz of Carter/Davis mainly... Its almost like the defense was following their lead last season, like when they ran out of gas it seemed like the entire defense ran out of gas, so if they keep their tanks full this season watch out NFL
They did run out of gas totally. I really believe they go as Davis and Carter go. I think Patricia was horrible. People don’t talk enough about it. He tried to change the defense completely

We have too many CBs as it is.. Way too much talent to not let them play.. I am so hype about Ringo, Rodgers, Mitchell, and Dejean.. Most forget about McPhearson and and Maddox veteran Eagles here.. and then you have Shon Stevens and Tyler Hall.. A lot of untouched talent. The youth movement is what we need in secondary. I can’t wait to see these young men go!!

Gilmore wouldn't be a guy we expect to be a huge contribution. U let guy's like him, slay and Bradbury...mentor all these young guys u got. And he definitely is a solid option if we have injuries. Slay and Bradbury are the only 2 old guys in our secondary. We dont have an old secondary, as eluded too. We have young guys who could definitely benefit from the tutoring of 2 of the best corners of their eras( slay and Gilmore)
Well if you keep bradberry you now have two older starting corners. I should of specified talking about starters age assuming bradberry stays. You add Gilmore to the mix then it’s 3 guys in there 30’s. Though he may still be better then the younger guys I think you got to let the young guys play. We want to take advantage of the offense and let these young guys play and learn. I think as far as mentoring you can do that with slay. Just my opinion.
@philly.500 yea, I'm not talking about them playing at all(Bradberry or Gilmore) but, the knowledge Gilmore can bring to the best young secondary in the league, is priceless. If philly can get him on a cheap 1 year deal...his tutelage could be major. Yes, slay and Bradbury are there. But Gilmore has been the defensive player of the year and arguably the best corner in the league at one point. Imagine the insight he can give these young guys. Our rookies and young guys being able to be taught by 2 of the best corners ever, can only be a plus. Bradberry and Gilmore definitely don't need to be starters lol just think of what kinda knowledge kelce was able to give Jurgens. Or cox to carter

Davis will be lucky to have 1 or 2 sacks a year. He is a NT not a DT. Wilfork played 13 years and had 16 sacks and Davis is no Wilfork
