John Soutter has done his cruciate ligament twice so is a high injury risk. As a rangers fan I can confirm he is injured as we speak and I really wish he wasn’t.
Biggest turn off is important matches since it s not really manageable. Injuries risk is manageable if you avoid games every 3 days and have good staff
Scottish Football fan here John Souttar just is extremely injury prone, and when he's injured, it's never a short injury. It's 95% of the time he's out for a month or 2
Also in the Scottish League they're all just hammer throwers that or the Rangers manager is throwing bricks at half the team I've never seen a rangers team without injuries in years
I've personally found that if one is very very committed to rotation/large squads, injury proneness isn't an issue (especially for a goalkeeper) In my experience, the injury proneness attribute only affects the little "wear a tear" injuries from playing a player too often/hard and not the large month plus injuries that are more random/RNG.
Interesting video, though I disagree on Justin Bijlow. Yes, he is injury prone IRL. But I've had multiple saves in FM24 where he hasn't had a single injury for multiple seasons and would consistently play 34 Eredivisie games in a season.
Maybe you go lucky with that then! Granted with keepers its harder to get injured, I would just advise to sign someone else if I was someone who had him as a GK target!
I bought a brazilian striker regen in his early 20s with elite stats. I remember thinking to myself "Botafogo are crazy for letting him go for 12 mil. he's one step away from worldclass. He was fast, could dribble, finish and he loved big matches. He was very professional and never made any trouble. His problem, of course, was injuries. He ended up being my only player to this day that had a black injury sign show before he had to retire because he injured his right knee so many times he never recovered at some point.
I've had Souttar for 3 seasons in my save. 11 injuries total, but the worst were a 3 week injury and a 10 day injury. All the rest were less than a week.
think with john soutar its the fact he was very well thought of as a youngster, hes had a few big injuries and then when he ruturns he may take 10 to 15 games to get back to his best, plays a couple of months at his best and looks great then gets injured again and rinse and repeat,so even if it looks like he has played a decent number of games your lucky if 40 percent of those games have been anywhere near his best, when fit and at his best hes arguably scotlands best centre back buts its rare
Hmm, maybe the GK duo known as Kayode Bankole and Dylan Berry would be my pick? I am new to the game, this is only my second ever save and I have struggled with finding consistent GKs and STs in general so maybe it s my fault for not evaluating them properly or they generated with bad hidden stats this save or something but I have signed both (first Berry then Bankole was his replacement) for my Hartlepool currently Championship side (we came 19th in season 8, a step back from the 14th in our first Championship season two seasons ago but I am not terribly fussed considering where we came from, we re also due a new stadium in 2 years that will double the seats we can sell but we also took out a 34 million euros loan for, I just hope we can pay it back when we re basically running at a loss every season) and well, despite good stats, especially Aerial Reach was 18 for one and 16 for the other and I do remember looking at the scout reports for hidden stats before signing, Bankole for one since he is more recent I remember clearly being very consistent and having quite a few caps for the Nigeria NT they just never got high match ratings, were consistently bottom left of the data hub stats, especially “expected goals prevented” (which is honestly the only good shot stopping metric in the game, “save percentage” doesn’t tell you anything about how good the shots were) was negative and they would just do weird animations in the match engine. Never seen them do a classic “pass to the opponent” mistake though but that might be because my whole team is asked to play direct so they don’t even try to pass short. Berry I allowed to leave on a free despite a decent 1 million+ value, he s now the backup GK for…Bolton I believe while Bankole I just got rid of in the winter, he went to Genoa for MORE than his release clause (they bid 600k but his clause was 475k) somehow, replaced him with a now 32 year old Andrew Fisher and he seems better despite not that impressive stats. Reminds me of how random GKs can be in FIFA too…
3:00 He is still a good Second Leaque Signing, at least for Free.. I signed him at multiple newly promoted first leaque teams or just second leaque teams, As long as you keep a solid Backup. If he is fit, he is a great Player, and if he's injured, He wasn't really expensive. So i think he's always a low Risk signing
Sverre Halseth Nypan anybody? So inconsistent, had him at two different saves in different roles and he always disappointed me. He is still a good player to sell (easily a little below 100m) in a few years, he gets international recognition and appearances for Norway, but I never got him going.
I've signed him in 5-6 saves and there was only 1 save where he became consistent and indispensable, every other save he ends up with a really high value but adds very little to your team, nice little Moneyball signing.
In Football Manager 2024 (FM24), injuries are one of the biggest challenges a manager faces, significantly affecting a team’s performance and player availability. However, these setbacks can be minimized by prioritizing the improvement of players' natural fitness attributes. Natural fitness determines how well a player can sustain their physical condition over time and recover after matches and injuries. By focusing on developing this attribute through targeted training, tailored individual schedules, and proper rest periods, you can help players build resilience and reduce the frequency and severity of injuries. Supporting good fitness habits not only prolongs players' careers but also ensures they spend more time on the pitch and less in the treatment room.
Denys Popov and Mykola Shaparenko from Dynamo Kyiv. They both look dominant, especially for the Ukrainian Prem league, but tend to go on 3-11 months injuries all the time.
Enzo Fernandes is one of biggest issue when i'm as chelsea coach, he is really annoying and also demanding, never accept a praise but also don't like to be criticized :v a very annoy type of player, but luckily the team always back me up so the morale of the team rarely go down when Enzo is unhappy, i always try to sell him whenever i play chelsea team, he is the best cm but he has a really annoying attitude :v
Enzo Fernandez is an utter tit in this game, Reece James rarely gets injuries for me, Chalobah is generational, Dewsbury-Hall is a baller, Nkunku is somehow worse than Jackson, Sanchez has blood on his hands both irl and in game, Tammy Abraham is the best striker in the game idc what anyone says! He’s bagged 30+ goals in the prem for me in 4 seasons.

I wish he wasn't injured myself the amount of times him or balogun have been out is mad
ouch, hopefully he's back soon then!
It's his Achilles tendon he keeps rupturing, not his knee.
@ thanks 👍🏻

dont want them letting you down at the most important moments 🥲

that wouldn't explain It then! thanks for the heads up matey
Sorry for the bad explanation 😅 not very good at explaining stuff like that

Idea- How about you build a team with all the dead players you find like these see how it goes lol

Where can I get logo packs, FMScout packs have been removed on the site????????
Search the TCM logopack.
Guess I got really lucky, brought Souttar on a free to Oldham in Championship, he was there for 2 seasons, no major injuries.
Nicely done to look after him, props to the medical team!

Keep the hair Jake, it’s got a lot more personality than how you normally style it.

Yeah his professionalism is like 4 and it means he's never going to develop and is a sell in game
will there be a transfer update to your fm25 database ?
Bazoer is spot on lmao
Ignacio and diomande poor tackling and heading
Playing with Flamengo and Everton is perfectly good.
Bertrame for me, never scores for me then starts complaining he's not playing enough 😅
Mr Everton at Flamengo was absolutely Great the first 2 games in my save. Then 22 6.1 rating. Ca. Pure train- wreck.

What about Hannibal
Torrienties has 15 in aggression not great either
Great player who got injured and lost him for rest of season.
Souttar is good but notoriously made of glass.
I will never sign Kubo again, injury machine
lamine yamal

Was a super star for me
Never had problems with him
