If you want tighter curls that last longer, then you can use more sock donuts. I’d recommend trying to put them in without a hair tie, since it will make ponytail dents. I love you so much!
Thank you for this awesome tutorial! The way you put your pony tail through the sock, split your hair into 2 parts, and wrapped your hair around the sock on top of your head was great! I had tried following other tutorials before which demonstrated starting with the sock at the tip of the ponytail and rolling up but that worked terribly for me with layers sticking out and irregular waves. Also I had tried headband curls but I always found the headband too uncomfortable to sleep in and the curls were always flat in the back. I had almost given up on no heat curls and was resigned to my iron. I tried your method last night and it worked beautifully! My friends thought I used a curling iron! This is a game changer to my daily routine! Thank you!

This is probably the best heatless curls turtorial I’ve come across! Super easy to do and easy to sleep in. I have to wear my hair in a bun for work and this not only makes a neat bun but beautiful hair when I take my hair out of a bun! My husband actually prefers straight hair but he loved my hair in these curls! Thanks for sharing I now can continue going heatless and have volume! Your awesome

GURL, I wanted to thank you a million times over. This worked so well for me, and so effortless. I've done my hair all sorts of colors, so heat is not a good option for me. But UGH, this worked like a charm and I'm so absolutely happy to have found it! Thank you!
Just a tip for anyone, if you don't want to sleep in it you could totally wear it to school or work because it's actually a really cute bun in general. Then also it would probably dry faster and stay in👍🏼😊🤓

Quick tip for the bump issue from the hair tie: get two Bobbi pins and place them on the opposite sides of a hair tie. With your hair formed in the shape of a pony tail, attach one Bobbi pin into your hair, then wrap the hair tie around your hair and secure it with the other Bobbi pin. Andrea's Choice's channel has a heatless curls tutorial that explains it very well. If you do it correctly it will work.

I will do this bit every time I do one of these cutly hair tutorials, in the morning I look like a goof with huge curls everywhere. it seems to work so perfect on them
If you have thicker hair, try splitting it into two or three buns

I use three to four sections sometimes, but my hair takes forever to dry with this hairstyle so I really just set it in the bun, sleep in the bun, wake up and do my whole day in the bun and then the next day I have perfect hair. It's a great way to have two hairstyles if your hair doesn't dry quickly.
Honestly I tried this lasted night it work great in trying it again in a smaller sock bun for tighter curls❤️. I'm in love with this method 👏

Thanks Emily, I absolutely love this method. I don't want to do it at night because I want my hair to be bedroom-hot (lmao).
This is the only method where my hair won't look absolutely ridiculous while the curls are being formed, since it looks like a bun. I just need to arrange it so that the sock/hair doughnut isn't visible. I wear it during the day and let my hair down when hubby gets home from work. Perfect!

EDIT: It worked! I had more of waves than curls, so I think next time I'll tie it tighter, or make two buns because I have thicker hair. Also letting my hair dry a little bit more beforehand might help. It was really comfortable to sleep in!
I love how when you out it in a bun it's not super ugly so like I can wear it out during the day and then be able to look cute at night. Trying this tonight!

Why are bobby pins so insecure in my hair !?? I hate it
If you aren't already, try using the bumpy side on your head and the straight side away from your head. It usually works. If not, do that but spray them with hairspray before you put them in. The hairspray helps with grip

Use a barrette, that's what I used and it held It in place perfectly

this wouldn't work for me. Every time I use a hair tie I get a crease where it was. I'd have a crease at the top and curls below it.
It might be because you tied it to tight but if you have an awkward hair thickness like me 2 times is to lose and 3 times is to tight 😂

Make the ponytail with a rubberband, do the sock-bun, secure with the sock with bobbypins at the base and the cute the band at the base:) the bobbypins will make it more stanle and removing the rubber band will prevent creasing^0^ hope this helps and work:)

I love this video so much! Most tutorials make my hair either look no different or too thick and poofy. However, this video is perfect for me, with thick hair, and my friend, with really thin hair. Also, it is so easy to remember because you only need a sock! x
