How very serendipitous that you uploaded this right now. I just filled out my application for Obamacare for next year and had to change my name on the form to match my new social security card. I used to be Zachary Mason, and now I'm Riah Finch. I have definitely felt a vibrational shift these last few months and it's been incredible to feel at home in my new name.

I have wanted to change my life as long as I can remember. In fact at one point in my young years I went to my mom and asked what her name was as a child because I thought, and hoped, that we had a child name and an adult name because my mom Elisabeth didn't sound like a child name. I hoped so much that I would hit adulthood and be handed a new name and I was so disappointed when I found out that you only get named once.
As a kid when people called me by name I wanted to shout *don't call me that!* but I knew they would ask what to call me instead and I didn't know so I felt hurt. I like my given name as a name in itself, it just doesn't feel like my name. At that point in time hearing people call me by my name felt the same way name calling or teasing feels like. I feel better now but it feels like an ongoing quest to find my name... like finding a lost dog. I know it's out there I just don't know where. You gave great tips, thank you!

I have learned more then simply vibrational shifts in a name change in watching this video. One that comes to mind is when you said to not search your name on Google, you'll come to a dead end but need to do it yourself, "with yourself" so to speak. This really applies to so many things. I Google so many things (I wonder what significance this has) and it's so external. Its one thing to read or watch something about what you name (or anything) might mean but to sit there and actually meditate on it, well that's a whole new experience.

I’ve never felt so at home in my life. they call me Nwanne. Nwanne Namba (which means sister in a strange land). I adopted my new name (this one i'm posting from). I made it up a number of years ago. It started out as a gaming/internet tag. But most people I speak with on a daily basis call me by this name now. (being disabled and spending most of my time with other gamers) No other person on the planet is called by this name (so far) It was a non-existing word when I formed this name. It can only be pronounced correctly with a mix of two languages. I've become bilingual during my life and found it suitable to combine these 2 languages into my new name. I identify with this name more than my original birth name. It was a name chosen as a homage to the Matrix movie, which is the movie that jumpstarted my spiritual awakening. Also becoming bilingual has helped me in awaking, since it helped me to get rid of the cultural ballast that comes with my birth language. My closest family has trouble with the changes I went through, because the know me by my birthname, and they know me as being a different person, but I know it was for the better. I've become more of a citizen of the world, instead of someone who is particular to one country.
Have you done a video on bilingualness already? About how your entire thought process changes when you learn another language so well that you start to think in another language than the one you were born with? Like I said, it helps to get 'out of' the culture you were born in. Interesting stuff.

My name is Milica and only my family or people from my country can pronounce is perfectly and I hated having it mispronounced in so many (in my opinion) ugly concoctions lol. So on the day I graduated from HS, I changed it all over my social media to Mila (which is an actual nickname for Milica) and I feel so much happier hearing people call me Mila now in college. No one struggles with it except like 1 or 2 ppl who say it like "My-Lah". It's "Mee-Lah" like Mila Kunis. It's more like the pronoun me, not the determiner my. When anyone who isn't Serbian calls me Milica and mispronounces it, it just makes me cringe. I even cringe when *I* say my real name to people who don't know how to pronounce it. But I feel normal when I say it to Serbians, cus they get it. But I can say Mila easily, happily, and comfortably! I actually ENJOY hearing my nickname being said! Pretty cool, I'd say.

That sorta sounds like how these celebrities have different egos ... This is crazy because before I clicked to this video I just entered my dorm after a music recording session. I ran into a couple of friends on my way to my room... They told me they had just finished singing a song with my name in it, and we all sang “Gloria” and laughed before I went to my room & my emotional memories flooded my mind at once. Then I said, “wow I’ve been through so much.” & then I put on my pj’s and got on TH-cam and played this video 🤯

before you came to be born in your current life your spiritual being had already chosen who you wanted to be born to and what your name would be. you also chose the troubles you will face and who you will choose to make happy. essentially you chose to either be challenged in life or to be no so challenged and be born with a silver spoon in your mouth. you literally gave yourself the test and you will be your own judge.. if you have failed and you know it,, then in your next life you may choose to do it all over again but this time not to give up on the challenges you set for yourself, provided other spirits forgive you and let you. If they do not agree then you will have to do good in your next life and pray for humanity, to be given the chance to get back on track. And hence your name was chosen before you were even born, your life story was chosen by yourself. We all know each other before we are born.

Changed my name many years ago by common usage and then officially a couple of years ago by deed poll. I know about sound vibration (Mantras) and how it resonates with you but I didn't at the time when I first changed it. I just knew it grated on me particularly my first name followed by my surname, I had a real block when it came to speaking it. Don't know how that fits in with me choosing it although I am aware Ryan that we can be around our parents before we are even conceived.
Ryan, sorry but I burst out laughing when you said what you were thinking of changing your name to, the first one you mentioned. It just sounded funny to me, possibly because Riley is my surname. Peace.

What do you do with when the parents pick name but their writing made the name come back a different version but still different than what they intended but kept it as it was changed by clerk? I am peeling back some layers to be my true authentic self. There are some things that most people don't know about me, and I know that I don't have to share them, but it is more about putting light on it so no darkness can dwell any longer. I went through a horrific narcissistic divorce after being together nearly 20 years, a failed marriage before that 7 years and two beautiful children who are grown, and nearly 45 years from a malignant narcissistic family dynamic until I went no contact, this familiarity brought me into other relationships that were not healthy, I didn't know the difference until later. A little more history: I was born without a thyroid developed in womb, I was sexually abused by a relative when I was 9-12years of age. A third grade teacher, Ms.Mallory, who made fun of me and had me wash my mouth out with a mix of palmolive soap and scope, if I said shut up in defense of myself and didn't come to confess before someone else told her, lots more....Ended up with auto immune diseases, Hashimoto's, and at 15 had got Mononucleosis- EpsteinBarr Virus. End of 2019 I was diagnosed with uterine cancer, had to have a total hysterectomy.
I just wanted to change my life, get a fresh start with a new name after the second divorce (2014), and I have had to legally return to legal first name due to lawyer error (2020) but I remain using the changed name as a nickname. I have been feeling a pull to go back to my birth name/nickname.

Ryan, that was a really good one. I've seen quite a few of your videos, and I appreciate them, as well as you. My name is Shannon Charles Zwelling Brooks. Zwelling is my birth last name, and Brooks is my adopted last name. My grandparents on my mother's side adopted me. So my father's last name was stricken from the record, and my mother's father's last name was added and it's place. However my grandfather, Carter Brooks, was adopted as well. So that's not even a name in my line. My grandfather was born Charles Carter Dove. The point is, that Brooks is not actually a name in my line. Brooks and implies the little streamlets that come out of a river, generally smaller than the river. Shannon is the largest river in Ireland. So Shannon Brooks implies that you should look at the smallest streamlets of the largest river. It implies small streamlets. Brooks also implies be Rooks. Be something lower than the king. Zwelling implies swelling, or the Shannon river is swelling. The Shannon river is a metaphor for the blood of God, with a bloodline of God. As is every name, somehow. I have been feeling for some time now, that Shannon Brooks has been holding me back, and that Shannon Zwelling is. Needing to kind of be born. however, as long as my mom and my grandmother are still alive, I don't know how to adopt that original birth name. this is such an ironic video to watch after something that I've been thinking about so heavily. definitely a fan of synchronicity. Thank you for your video. Have a great day. See you again soon.

Ryan not to get off topic , but I'm feeling extremely excited I've been following your astral projection videos for awhile now, and I finally achieved it today!!! and I noticed its a matter of shifting your consciousness ...because when I actually tried to move my astral body as if it were my physical body , I would accidentally move my physical body ...if you get what I mean ....😊😊😊 thanks man.

So.. if your given name connects to your past & whenever it's said it is shaping you into who you are today etc etc, then what do you think about changing your given name? Is it spiritually "okay" to do so? I'm really want to change my name for a few very good reasons. Did I miss something in the video? Lol
Hope you or someone can answer my 2 questions! Thanks!

My family calls me by my middle name Ilanna. When I was in the third grade my mom finally told me my first name was actually Desirae. I'm named after both my mom and my dad. Desiree- Desirae, Lonnie - Ilanna. When I turned about 13 or 14 my mom also changed my last name legally. I only let close friends know my middle name and I feel like a different version of me when I'm in public - at school or at work- and people call me Desirae.

How can a name determine the person you are? You could have no name as an identity for yourself and still have a fluctuating lifestyle, so how can this determine your perception of reality? 'I think therefore I am' determines the emotions, which then transcends into the reality you currently perceive now, not a name.
I think this boils down to the ego, trying fix itself revolving around past and future, rather than the present now.
We all try to find meaning from the past or straight into the future. We never seem to try and comprehend the beauty of NOW. We can't stop thinking, which this then places boundaries in accessing The Power of Now.

this is so weird. Some years back I was watching a tv show and there was a character named Riley. Somehow this name just resonated with me. It's like something clicked. And I started to call myself that. And now I call myself Rylee. Ironically that's what you wanted to change your name to!!!!!! OMG! Literally as I was typing this you said it said it!!!! Coincidence? Anyway I like the name Rylee and I found out that in some instances, it means valiant warrior. And I've always felt that I am one, in one way or another. SO THANKS. My parents "gave" me the name Hlakanipho which means intelligent. So all in all, I am an intelligent, peace making, valiant worrior.

When you say changing your name, do you mean legally? Do you think having the ''official papers'' issued by the government which approved your new name is necessary for fully entering this new path? Personally, I like what some people do when they decide to publish their creation, mostly musicians. They use one or even multiple pseudonyms under which they publish their creation. You should cover this in a future video! I love your channel dude!

Can you do another video going more indepth into astrology? I'm curious to know if we are influenced by all the systems (ie tropical or sidereal) or just the one we subscribe to and how can we tell if we've broken free from the astrological determinants of our future, skills, struggles, etc.

This video really hit a bell inside of me. Today is the point in time that I discovered your channel. My birthday is 01-25-87, my first name is Melissa. Growing up my eldest sister was also named Melissa (her birthday 08-30-83) we are the only two siblings or family members with this name. Growing up everyone referred to me as sister or sissy. I even contemplate my birth name I get a headache. Melissa and I are total opposites. As an adult I have not changed my name but go by Jane. Do you have any input to this complex situation of identity? I have never regarded astrology as absolute or remotely influential in my life. Growing up my family didn't celebrate my birthday as coming from a large family I was the only member born in January. I guess what I'm asking is how does the lack of an identity pertaining to names and birthdays affect ones vibration or connection with a detached matrix?
