So grind the entire bean for vanilla sugar and not just the inside? I just started out making homemade vanilla sugar and extract so I’m still learning. Also how many beans for one cup of sugar?

Yes, the entire bean has so much flavor! Not sure about exact ratio, I think at least 1 bean per cup sounds nice.
