It really makes sense to go on a bicycle. You can go farther and see more. I used to bike all over when I was younger. I camped with the bike rides as well. Had so much fun. Good Video.
Come across your Channel whilst on lockdown and have now binged watched all your videos. Have to say .... class act mate, good on you. You've made a shitty situation into a really enjoyable one, some great tips, hints, and reviews along with some awesome campouts all done with humour, honesty and a genuine love out the outdoors ..... keep on making the videos you don't realise what difference they make in peoples lives who can't get out about like would want too. After all this is over I'm sure more people will get out and do some wild camping because you know it makes sense ;)

Damien lad! Brilliant to see you out! Sick of hanging around the house. Couple of months ago you inspired me to get out and do an 'adventure' at least once a week. I was living the dream. Mega long hikes, kayaking, wild camping, camp fires and wood stoves, all gone to s**t now! Keep doing what you are doing......... its keeping us going! Cheers Duane.
Finally, someone does a bikefishing video right! For a test run, your kit was very impressive. It took me awhile to get it boiled down to almost the same things you have there. You made a good case for the fuel tabs too. It's so humid here I may switch out my bushbox style stove for the tabs. Would work better than trying to pre-dry tinder in my jacket in wet/humid conditions. Hope to see more of these videos....funny stuff man! Keep up the good work for us housebound gumbies!
Great bike set up you have there. Surprising how little you need to take. Very good idea with the water bottle and hanging hook. Really enjoyed watching. Stay save. Steve.
You’re just what any good doctor would have ordered in times such as these. I was so glad to see the notification pop up of this most recent vlog. I picked up some more useful tips as well as enjoyed seeing a man well within his elements, just being himself. Bless you and may the road continue to rise up to you, Damien.

Despite the fact that I've lived a few miles away in Newbiggin since 2014, I've never been in to Bothal woods. It looks like a good spot for a wild camp. Great video.
What a lovely place to have close to home for camping. Those bags looked a great bargain. Thanks for sharing your exploits, just what is needed when I can't get out. Starting to get frustrated at not being able to get out into the countryside, but I know it's for the greater good. I'll just have to suck it up for a while longer yet, as we all will. Atb and stay safe. Shaun
Great video bud ,I bike pack and stealth camp as well and have been for many years, it's so much easier than humping a big bergen about and you can go a lot furthure and see a lots more on a mountain bike ,keep videos coming bud because it's always a pleasure to watch you

Nice wild camp mate! I got a cheap used bike not too long ago to be able to go a bit further with out the car and do a bit of camping. You found some of that white gold I see, lucky bugger!
Great to see you and that your able to get here in New Jersey they just shut down all the trails so I can’t even hike now! Crazy times we are in stay safe cheers!

Thanks Damien, the world is OK again now that fellwanderer is out and about all be it in pre lock footage, so glad that you bivied well. All the best Harry

Nice to see you out and and about Damian, I couldn't belive all the gear you could get in your three bags you think of everything, I've been in my local woods scouting about looking at tree and unusual branch breaks I was inspired by your Wildman investigations, nice find by the way some of the white stuff 🤣🤣🤣🚲❤
I will have to use one sheet at a time with one side for each trip to the toilet to make the roll last longer, its too valuable to waste. Thanks for watching.
Ive bought all 3 too and fit nice on my road bike..not sure if i will do bike packing yet (just may use them to commute to work for overnighters) but the front bag will also be handy for attaching extra to a ruck sack on normal camps..Saddle bag be great for doing bike events in future Nice what you have got into all 3.... See the Lidl sleeping mat is still holding up well after a few camps too. ATB Mark
They are excellent value so couldn't resist buying all three. The air mat is still a pain to deflate but is comfortable and still works well. Thanks for watching.
I've started using a toilet brush. If you want to keep the weight down, just cut the handle off. A bit rough, but it works a treat and keeps the piles at bay.
Another great video Damian. Good to see the wild outdoors when we are all stuck inside. I have seen your camera tripod in several of your videos, can you pass on the details for it please. Stay safe mate.
The tripod is a Manfrotto Element Small Traveller, its very compact and easily fits into a back pack. Its all metal and a bit heavy but very sturdy. Thanks for watching.

There are 3 tyre levers stuck together, probably so they don't get lost. Got them from Wilko's. Got the 1x11 chainset. The newer model has SLX 1x12 but XT is better and 11 gears are all I need. Thanks for commenting.
Great video! Interesting choice of campsite though. Could get a bit wet in the wrong conditions. I picked up one of the handlebar bags from Lidl, I thought the roll bag was excellent but the carrier where it attaches on to the handlebar was a bit of a weak point. The stitching starting to show after only a few minutes use. I'll get the sewing kit out to strengthen it and hopefully it will do the job. Stay safe. YKIMS.
