That is a wise choice - you can absolutely get a single Empire Starter and later get a Hachiman. That'll be even better in your case 🙂

Thanks for making these videos. They're helpful for getting an idea what the various ships and options do. (I like the SRS cruisers, though it seems wise to not build them as a first choice)

Question. Is the Empire a good Starter Faction to begin with? I'm considering starting some Dystopian Wars stuff next year and I got recommended the Empire & Commonwealth because I mentioned I'd like submarines.
