I love the revised Orbats, so I’ve been digging through the new rules. My favorite weapon for The Enlightened is the molecular disharmoniser, because it ignores the shield generator. And I really like that the Thule looks like the BSG Cylon basestar. Great video - thanks for making this! ❤️👍
The Disharmoniser is for sure a very powerful tool, especially against the right enemy! A mirror match against Covenant Aerial, or against the Empire's Zhanmadao, even against a "oops all Shields" Russian fleet and you'll really be happy you have them! And yes the Thule looks really, really good on the table. Was not a huge fan of the first images when it was announced but once painted and in the middle of his airfleet it looks great!
Liked this report very much. A possible improvement would to be to show the "what to Build" ships so that both new players and non Enlightened players can see what ship you are talking about. Maybe not every ship but the ones you suggest most highly. pictures are more easily remembered than ship Class names. Keep up the good work!!!!!
Nice analysis of these impressive units. However you can build three Heavy Saucers (Adamski, Haunebu and Valtar) from this set only if you have a spare mass 3 aerial base. There is only two of those in the box 😅.
A lot of covenant ships have SRS! Mass 3+ (icarus, nansen, thule) mass 2 (plinius) and mass 1 (pytheus), and they are hard to remove. They are so scary!
It's been hard for me to go with a single faction (when I finally do get into this) because every faction has something great, model-wise, about it. Commonwealth have their Ekranoplans, Sultanate with their Egyptian hovercraft, Union and their John Henry (plus automata), Covenant with these saucers, etc. If I do start playing, I'm not gonna know how to start!
I'm gonna be the partypooper, I kinda wish we got more regular-ish, slightly steampunk-y boats and less of the overly crazy stuff. I mean yes, Enlightened, of course... But still.
It's so crazy and cool to have Flying Saucers in this naval game
Love the UFO look of the ships
I've played against the saucers a bit in my local meta. They are interesting! It's a cool aesthetic to have included in this game.

Played them, loved them. They are feggin gorgeous
Thanks, these is passed to the Covenant's fan in my group!!!
This is a great looking fleet and looks like it would be a lot of fun to play.
Great analysis of the units. Looking forward to the battle with them.
Cool video! The saucer aesthetic is interesting.
Nice little breakdown, very informative
Excellent video as usual. I really enjoy these breakdowns.
Thank you very much! That means a lot 😀

Thank you Joe! But there are already pictures of the ships on the bottom right. Did you mean something else?

I love the single saucers a lot. I am not so sure about the mothership.
If anything was to get me into Enlightened, it would be these units.

Indeed! One of the strongest SRS capacity of the game
Awsome a vid for me i started DW couse of the Thule fleet :D
Then welcome! Those are for sure unique! Planning on getting some surface Covenant ships later?
@@loveandwargames fore sure maybe the sea serpent like robots
Great!
I'm not a big fan of the Thule pancake stack look, but the individual Heavy and Light saucers look great.
I was with you until I saw it on the table - then I was like « oh, this looks actually good »
Nice one :)

Right! A solution could be to start with one knowing you’ll collect the other later :-)
Im still waiting for you to see those ships in action
There is a BatRep coming! Though there’ll be another one before (in the coming days)
Getting in first before you're really popular and famous :)
Hahah thanks 😀
Strange ships!
Do you know if this kit comes with enough bases to field 3 of the larger saucers?
Is a single saucer worth it? Does it mesh well with a sea fleet?

hamburger flyer
not a fan of the esthetic but nice stats
Still no big fan of these models, maybe need to grow but they look to futoristic to me.
