i feel like you should get enchanted spellbook from skeleton'o'fun post archenemy he will vanish and be found at the elite barracks next to harry he will thank you for killing archmage before saying something like "hey he didnt happen to drop a tome did he?" before asking you to bring him the clever tome afterwards giving you the enchanted spellbook technique.
I want something like Blighted arts or something for the catacomb berry stuff. It would change the heavies and give properties to the berry weapons which would give stuff like mortar and gravetree a new fresh play style. (I just really like grave tree, it’s outclassed by so many things)
Technique idea: Thunderflame wave (Compatible with prism staff , lostmasks) Burn all your mana to charge an extremely devastating beam of shock and flames, like a kamehameha wave. (With vimkit/mana flint equipped , further holding down the beam uses ur hp aswell, leaving u at lowest 1 hp.)
“Galvanized Weaponry” dec: “galvanizing your weapon, increasing its power” Galvanized effect instead of increasing your health/mana regeneration and movement speed, it increases damage, attack speed and decreases mana cost. Compatible with: every weapon Obtainment: when you have bought copper mech, the next time you talk to him, he’ll mention the copper mech and wonder if he can make a chip that could transfers the galvanization into your weapon. after that you’ll get a quest to gain 100 Galvanized effect in total (like 5 times 20 galvanized) and bring him 2 diamonds, 1 dae chip, 30 chaos essences, 1 foul patch and 10 scrap metal. Me giving another idea [Berry Tosser] Compatible with [The Rot] (will disable lunge), [Berried Cleaver], [Noxious Mortar] (doesn't work like the explosives berries from the gun How it works: Basically works like how Cata throws the berries, but you throw 3 rotten berries in front of you (forward and diagonal), but instead of exploding after a certain amount of time, it either have to hit the target to explode, or it'll act like a landmine or a sea mine (it doesn't float up or sprouts, you hit it and it'll explode), and if you throw again, the current berries on the ground will despawn (max berries on the ground is 3), it also inflict venom on hit and if they step on the berry on the ground, they get berried effect (The Rot crit effect that turns into venom after the slam) How to get: Meet the berry guy behind the pillar where you get the lever by opening the coffins and hide away from the jailer, and he'll ask you to show him either [The Rot] or [Noxious Mortar], then you accept his quest and gather an amount of berries and other fruits, then slay a certain amount of enemies in the sweetberry catacombs (except the cleric) (you'll have to kill cata again), then go meet him, and he'll give you the tech
these ideas are cool but the six shooter already does like 2.5x the damage of most weapons and does NOT need an op technique also imbuing arts would be super annoying to press t 4 times every 15 seconds with the delay of technique swapping, maybe make it 30 seconds and the being unable to attack for 2 seconds part of prismatic geode would for SURE get exploited to stunlock a boss, maybe give that effect a long ahh cooldown
good ideas but i think some of the obtainment methods could use some work ragged cloak could be given by the thief npc in the thief cave (teron? taron? i forgot) billy (soundstaff quest guy) could give lightning rod enchanted spellbook could be given to you by skeleton o' fun (kill archmage quest guy) instead

Hit enemy with bleed and the enemy will crystalize, hit with normal weapon shatter, hit with light weapon, boom, prism beam(~60dmg)(spears) Rotten berry: THROW BERRY LIKE CATA,(~20 each)(rot, berried cleaver,twigclaws,sword) Back-up dabloons:ULTRAKEEL BABY~~~~~~Y:3 coins and fire gun (no parry nor dodge it's garuentee, 25% crit) Mine:Azure Arts: pinwheel 2nd air heavy is a slam and boom (~120dmg), the normal turns into the barrage which lazurai does(~130dmg) Kai fist norm heavy will turn into a grab by the collar and 2 uppercut (~120dmg) ceremonial greatsword:the heavy is a horizontal slash transitioning into a verticle slam(~65+~65dmg),azure cleave turns into azure wrath,so you ram and slam also big boom(~40+~65+~30dmg) Kai smith hammer:your heavy does 3 slams and boom (~45dmg each) (And no it does not have a second switcheroo and no azure rocket) Sweet garden: surround yourself with smol trees with a large radius that heal you and lasts for 10 seconds (20 sec cd)(6%of ya hp lad)(grave tree only) I'll be back
Imma just rant here rq. Greatbows need either a rework or some techniques, they have 1. No heavies. 2. no techniques 3. No variety between weapons, besides status effects. 4. Forgettable weapons Lets be real, what was the last time you saw someone use acrid longbow? Or demetal greatbow? Or hell, normal crossbow? There are 5 greatbows Demetal, acrid, blizzard, crossbow, and the new kai crossbow. Normal crossbow takes too long to get and is a direct down grade to kai crossbow, has no gimmicks, and is pointless moment you get blizzard greatbow which can be found on the same area Demetal applies flame with normal arrows, acrid applies venom. The issue is as an archer, you NEVER use normal arrows. Its always scrap, making these two just same as a normal bow without the stat diffrences, they both get useless if you have blizzard greatbow. Blizzard greatbow... its gimmick is turning ice arrows in to icicles. The issue is unless you're using corroded scalpel (and as an archer, you shouldnt) scrap arrows are a direct upgrade. Conclusion: All greatbows are useless after you kill a early-mid game boss, making only one of them usefull You cant use anything other than crit builds It is NECESSARY to have charm gem, sharktooth necklace, scarecrow hat, archer/patchwork, and gorgon talon. You cant make a build that isnt "railgun go brr" Devs pls rework greatbows. Edit: dis is written by someone with over weeks of playtime JUST on greatbows, i know what im talking on.

How it works: Basically works like how Cata throws the berries, but you throw 3 rotten berries in front of you (forward and diagonal), but instead of exploding after a certain amount of time, it either have to hit the target to explode, or it'll act like a landmine or a sea mine (it doesn't float up or sprouts, you hit it and it'll explode), and if you throw again, the current berries on the ground will despawn (max berries on the ground is 3), it also inflict venom on hit and if they step on the berry on the ground, they get berried effect (The Rot crit effect that turns into venom after the slam)
How to get: Meet the berry guy behind the pillar where you get the lever by opening the coffins and hide away from the jailer, and he'll ask you to show him either [The Rot] or [Noxious Mortar], then you accept his quest and gather an amount of berries and other fruits, then slay a certain amount of enemies in the sweetberry catacombs (except the cleric) (you'll have to kill cata again), then go meet him, and he'll give you the tech
these ideas are cool but the six shooter already does like 2.5x the damage of most weapons and does NOT need an op technique
also imbuing arts would be super annoying to press t 4 times every 15 seconds with the delay of technique swapping, maybe make it 30 seconds
and the being unable to attack for 2 seconds part of prismatic geode would for SURE get exploited to stunlock a boss, maybe give that effect a long ahh cooldown
good ideas but i think some of the obtainment methods could use some work
ragged cloak could be given by the thief npc in the thief cave (teron? taron? i forgot)
billy (soundstaff quest guy) could give lightning rod
enchanted spellbook could be given to you by skeleton o' fun (kill archmage quest guy) instead
western style at dry desert den, so it has a use. maybe ragged cloak from that one chill thief in the cave for 2.5k, after thief king is dead probs.
maybe critical parry requires you to kill ice king and abdominal snowman with executioner's, or something unique. maybe, like to sling a shot quest, you do big iron, something like a rumor that was heard, or an investigation between elite knights and observatory focusing an ancient gauntlet on the western sea.

The Reaper's Arts, Technique
Your art of using the scythe has changed to fast, Swift cuts with the heavy being changed to heavy cuts that inflict heavy bleed and heal you for abit it will also make the normal attack inflict bleed

The ghost will now deal half of the dmg inflicted with your scythe, with the heavy now doing 20% of the enemy's hp

Reworks: prismatic geode. Hit enemy with bleed and the enemy will crystalize, hit with normal weapon shatter, hit with light weapon, boom, prism beam(~60dmg)(spears)
Rotten berry: THROW BERRY LIKE CATA,(~20 each)(rot, berried cleaver,twigclaws,sword)
Back-up dabloons:ULTRAKEEL BABY~~~~~~Y:3 coins and fire gun (no parry nor dodge it's garuentee, 25% crit)
Mine:Azure Arts: pinwheel 2nd air heavy is a slam and boom (~120dmg), the normal turns into the barrage which lazurai does(~130dmg)
Kai fist norm heavy will turn into a grab by the collar and 2 uppercut (~120dmg)
ceremonial greatsword:the heavy is a horizontal slash transitioning into a verticle slam(~65+~65dmg),azure cleave turns into azure wrath,so you ram and slam also big boom(~40+~65+~30dmg)
Kai smith hammer:your heavy does 3 slams and boom (~45dmg each)
(And no it does not have a second switcheroo and no azure rocket)
Sweet garden: surround yourself with smol trees with a large radius that heal you and lasts for 10 seconds (20 sec cd)(6%of ya hp lad)(grave tree only)

Greatbows need either a rework or some techniques, they have
1. No heavies.
2. no techniques
3. No variety between weapons, besides status effects.
4. Forgettable weapons
Lets be real, what was the last time you saw someone use acrid longbow? Or demetal greatbow? Or hell, normal crossbow?
There are 5 greatbows
Demetal, acrid, blizzard, crossbow, and the new kai crossbow.
Normal crossbow takes too long to get and is a direct down grade to kai crossbow, has no gimmicks, and is pointless moment you get blizzard greatbow which can be found on the same area
Demetal applies flame with normal arrows, acrid applies venom. The issue is as an archer, you NEVER use normal arrows. Its always scrap, making these two just same as a normal bow without the stat diffrences, they both get useless if you have blizzard greatbow.
Blizzard greatbow... its gimmick is turning ice arrows in to icicles. The issue is unless you're using corroded scalpel (and as an archer, you shouldnt) scrap arrows are a direct upgrade.
Conclusion:
All greatbows are useless after you kill a early-mid game boss, making only one of them usefull
You cant use anything other than crit builds
It is NECESSARY to have charm gem, sharktooth necklace, scarecrow hat, archer/patchwork, and gorgon talon. You cant make a build that isnt "railgun go brr"
Devs pls rework greatbows.

@Skibiditoilet-i9f nah bows do NOT deserve bows, greatbows can reach upwards of 800 damage per arrow like every 2 seconds with %80 piercing, they need an overall reaork.

imbuing arts sounds way too busted, essentially removes the need for a fire frost or lightning gem for scalpel builds AND gives buffs on top of that

the longer you wait (10 seconds) you will gain speed for 15 second along with jump height and strength (all of them have a buff of 10+)
cooldown: 25 seconds if waited inside the bell for 20 seconds and 10 seconds if waited for 5 seconds
consumption: 150 mana
obtainment: do a quest called: only for the faithful
this quest needs you to tire out false believer after the one quest when you choose to side with the bell

Compatible with: Snowshatters, Blizzard Greataxe, Blizzard Greatbow, etc.(any weapon that applies chilled or frostburn)
Visual effects: a white bluish mist surrounds your weapons and you
Addition: If Snow Mask(from strays) equipped: Applies “Crystallised” in the video, and makes them brittle(like prismatic geode basically)
