I saw this exhaust on the Yoshimura website but couldn't find any sound clips on yt... This thing sounds absolutely NUTS. I think I'm gonna take this AT2 over the R77. Thanks for the clip dude!
Great vid and awesome bike. The white looks sick! I just picked up my R7 today with this exhaust and a custom tune via power commander. Sounds very good. Glad I went with the AT2 as well.
How are you not getting massive decel pops? I have the same exhaust, with a k&n filter and a tune, and it still fires gunshots on decel like a degenerate cowboy.
@@RexMuffin lmao, it was dyno tuned by 2 wheel dyno works in Kirkland WA. With this set up it we couldn't even ride it there to get the tune it ran so bad.
hate to say it mate but this is a 2 cillinder, can't be a cross but it does have the 270 degree offset which is the same as 90 degrees so like half a crossplane engine i guess. Either way it sounds awesome
@@pmoto I went the lazy rout and covered my throttle bodies and cut the stock airbox in half with a sawzall to get it out. I bought a take-off on Ebay for $75 in case I ever sell the bike I have the stock parts for the buyer.
The site says it can be used on stock. It's probably safer to get a flash, though. I installed mine last week but got sent out of town to work. Can't wait to go home and ride it before I send it off for the flash. It's LOUD!
A lot of exhaust manufacturers say this for legal reasons. They are basically not street legal but cops usually won’t give you trouble unless it’s extremely loud and they receive complaints
In California they actually look inside with a flashlight if it's a straight through style, muffler like most are You can get cited.. usually city cops are pretty cool it's the CHP that is the worst..
I don't disagree about the sound level, but dude. This is one of my favorite sounding exhausts and it gets Soo many compliments. It's not that kind of loud like a shorty can, it's got this insane bass note to it in person. But not everyone is into exhausts this loud!
@@pmoto It's difficult to estimate things on camera, outside of tone (high, mid, low, raspy, tinny, metallic, other weird stuff) due to the utter variety of cameras and mics and TH-cam compression and headphones and speakers, so I try to keep that in mind.
@@exothermal.sprocket it's super hard, this was recorded with a Google pixel which did a good enough job but you're right, best way to hear it is in person 😎
I should have included that. It's actually 2 less horsepower compared to akrapovic and hord power setup. This is because the at2 and Yoshi air box combination is supposed to be pared with the Yoshi cams and fuel system upgrades.
@@pmoto I have the Akro with the Yosh airbox with a 2wheels reflash I noticed a significant gain in pep across the range, 0-60 and 0-100 feels almost on par with a stock R6. These mods make this bike a blast and more than most riders will ever need on the street or even for the occasional track day. Thanks for sharing my friend 🤘😎🏍
Damn this sounds good! I ended up loving the Toce exhaust and installed it on my r7. I was torn between Toce and Yoshimura
You can't mess up the sound of the r7 that's for sure. One of my all time favorite bikes man! Enjoy your new exhaust!
That blue on the titanium 😍
ITS ABOUT TIME IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS

DO IT. It sounds meaner than my r1 LOL

finally a good camera and mic to actually hear
@pmoto Is this without the DB killer in?

I'm still waiting on the "flyby"!😂 More like a slowby we wanna hear it braap!
Did you install the exhaust yourself? If so, anything in particular to be mindful of? I just ordered mine today.
I did not, but heard it went well. You shouldn't have any issues, but the airbox is much harder. The OEM airbox is a pain to remove.

wao ... i really want sombody try it . yeah it so nice sound , thank you for video
Do you have any videos on the air box installation
I do not. All I know is it was a pain in the ass.
Do you have to tune it up or can it go fine with just the exhaust?
We did exhaust and airbox at the same time, and it had to be trailered to the shop because it barely ran.

Just ordered it yesterday 🔥
The yoshimura site says it’s specifically for track use and shouldn’t be used on the street, do you think I’d get pinged for using this exhaust?
Depends on where you are. Technically where I am all exhaust modifications are illegal but they don't crack down too hard.

Where did you get the mount for the camera?
It comes with the insta 360 motorcycle kit.
R77 is a good tone. AT2 is a "I'm coming from 1 county away" noise.
