He gives the show complete credibility and how smart he is and how he tries to debunk everything and someone I've seen as different shows go to him for his expertise on different subjects just as the government did
Travis makes the tec stuff easier to understannd . Plus he has conections that come in handy . He was a complete sceptic when ge started. Now he wants to know about ufos and everything that is going on. He needs to stay . He is an important member of the team.
I don't think that this was meant as an insult. I am not a scientist, but an investigator very familiar with the many phenomenal occurrences that Dr. Taylor has been researching for years.
I have great respect for Travis, and suspect that no matter how much he is being paid for his work at that ranch (as an Indéé [Apache] woman, I will NOT speak that word), he is being exploited.
PLEASE NOTE: With all my years of experience of criminal AND *extra normal* investigative experience, plus my Indigenous connection, you will NEVER see me on Mr. Fugal's show. That's not said out of petty jealousy, but as confirmation that "The Secret of S-walker Ranch" is about using brilliant men like Dr. Travis to bolster someone else's finances, name, and ego.

Having binge watched seasons 2,3, and 4 of TCOSR on Amazon Prime, I am now looking for season 5 on youtube. I like Tavis but just sometimes he really gets my goat. Great man though.

Not really. It is obvious that if there is indeed some kind of extraterrestrial presence at the ranch then all the relevant government agencies will be interested in the team's findings. If they weren't showing an interest then they won't have been doing their job.
Those missing segments of the lasers were hilariously faked in the recent skinwalker ranch show. Ive worked with thousands of photos and spent thousands of hours in photo editing and when zoomed in it’s hilarious that anyone can’t see that. They were erased and filled. You could easily see the pixel stepping and it wasn’t even done well. They didn’t even erase and fill it cleanly. I could have done better. From a logic perspective, if they were “long exposures” the lasers would have filled the gaps back in before the shutter closed. Unless the gaps were there the whole time during the open shutter. Then logically, it would have been gapped long enough for anyone to see it. And also, why no video footage….because it costs time and money to edit video in that same way. I am 100% certain based on the evidence that they hilariously provided and magnified, that it was staged/faked. I’d wager everything I own. I could go into more detail but this comment would be too long. I’ve watched every season and up until this episode I had some sway toward the validity of the show, but after this it just solidifies the bs. They might have a meteorite under the mesa but that’s it. The rest is just drama, fabricated crap and speculation. Oh and slow moving lights in the sky…satellites. As an astrophotographer and meteor detection system operator, I can easily show you software that tracks sats in the past, present and future in a geolocation. They all move at different rates and appear and disappear. They also do course correction pulses that is a sudden burst of light (which they speculated on the show once.) I hate to say it, but the show is just a show. One major thing was so obviously faked so that means there is no further trust.
I wouldn't even wager everything YOU own on that bet… based on the absence of actual information - even backed by such a wealth of vague speculation!
I've known Dr. Travis Taylor since before he was old enough to buy beer.
I appreciate the advantage of being able to watch The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch with the confidence that what I am viewing is a true and accurate depiction of events because I know Travis's integrity is unimpeachable. He wouldn't be involved in the show if it employed faked, staged, or manipulated footage that was in any way misleading towards the viewer or practiced "shock-value sensationalism for TV ratings" type tactics.
Too many television documentary-style reality shows lean into the hyperbolic teasing crap, promising jump-scare false drama, eventually delivering their big climatic reveal of nothing more than a pitch-dark screen and audio of a couple of sudden hissed proclamations of: "Shhhh! …it's a SQUATCH!
It's never a Squatch.
Meanwhile, TSoSR delivers actual groundbreaking (and often truly shocking) discoveries and scientific evidence.

I have as much affinity for that dreck as I do the similarly shady garbage of the video channels that rely on click-bait for views… much like THIS one …on which we are, at this moment.
