      To be honest Brian, the only time I leave my helmet with the bike it's locked away in the top box, and how would they know to strip the helmet down to look for it as I believe unlike the key fob it needs to be in very close proximity to the receiver..?

    Hi there, thanks for the explanation. Another question, what is the type and make of the usb charging port you installed on the bike on the right?
    or is that a standard on the 1250? I have a 1200 with some sort of mini lighter plug, which is not very useful. thanks!

      Hi Vince, I have installed dual port USB adapter so I can plug in two devices in case when needed. This is what I bought from Amazon works great.

    Should the key be under the circle while you press the on button? That would be difficult, one hand there and the other trying to press the on button

    • @rocksnroadsadventure4247
      @rocksnroadsadventure4247  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it would have to be placed under the circle hold it there till you turn your bike on. Yes not very convenient at all. The another way to do this on GSA is move sensors right under your front compartment pocket for easy use when needed.

      If you have the bmw anti-theft alarm (DWA) installed on your bike, those 2 buttons control the arming and disarming of said alarm.
