they are so minimalist that it is even more noticeable that they do not align indices with hands. these watches would gain a lot with only two hands, minutes and hours.

PS: I recommend you check out the Skmei 1123. It's a clone of the Casio A158, but with a metal (zinc alloy) case instead of plastic, mineral glass instead of acrylic, and a proper EL backlight instead of that lame excuse for a green LED they have on the A158. Usually the quality of Skmeis isn't good, but this is such a simple watch to clone that they've got it down 100% and actually improved upon it, for half the price. Get the silver one though, the others are very brash looking.
Also noticed you like the MQ24, just wanted to let you know they have a larger version called the MW240 which has 50m WR and is a really neat watch in my opinion.

There’s a line with Ali watches between value and nasty. These are in the second category. Shame really as aesthetically they look good.

@@eradict It depends on the brand of the cheap watch. IMO SKMEI makes decent cheap watches. You can get a decent one below 10 USD. Any higher just get a Casio.
