    I also made my own jumpstart packs, but I went at it from a limited perspective. I bought a 1000 card bulk box and created booster repacks with cards from mixed sets (1 rare 3 uncommons and 11 common).
    Then with the sealed pool from 9 packs I challenged myself to make 4,5 or more jumpstart style packs. I call this style of battlebox jankstart ^^. It’s pretty fun! Both making and playing it.

    Thank you for sharing. I can't wait to make a j/s cube for playing with. Great for new players and seasoned vets. Great homemade theme decks too!

    I opened a jumpstart booster box as my bday gift. Got 2 vampires, 2 angels, 2 well read, & 2 dinosaurs (but none of the dupes were completely identical and 1 of the 2 had higher value cards). There were about $220 worth of good cards in it. Tempted to buy another box because I love this product!

      I REALLY enjoyed playing jumpstart. It's a fun way to pick up casual games and the boosters can have some real value to them! I'm glad you got good value in yours. What was your favourite card from the box?

    Have you made any new Jumpstart decks? I'm planning to build a few every set to grab the set's vibe (as a kind of playable magic museum :) ).

      That is an amazing idea! I've been super busy so I haven't been able to make any new videos for a while but this might be a new series idea for me! Thanks so much!

      @@MTGForgeChannel What I like about the Jumpstart deckbuilding is that fun comes first.
      Before play, if you are going to allocate deck halves randomly, you don't want to play against a too strong deck. You want to play against a deck which is fun. So when deckbuilding, you don't construct to win, which different from the usual deckbuilding. Also you don't need to buy all the expensive rares and mythics to get the spirit of the set, but you can have the specific rules like foretell, cycling, boast etc.
      With Set Jumpstart you can play this isolated or with other jumpstart decks. So for Kaldheim I want a Giant deck, Shapeshifter deck (tricky!), elf deck, spirit deck etc. I will put these decks in an appropriate bundle box.
      As I have recently bought a Jumpstart boosterbox, I will check on power level (I need to play with them to get the feeling) as this will be a level I want to play.

    Im also doing some homebrew Jumpstarts. Although im increasing the power level a bit instead of trying to keep it on par with the actual Jumpstart packs. What im missing now is some custom face cards. Any idea if there is a face card generator out there?

      SomeDude I actually used the art cards from Modern Horizons. If you use a dymo labeller, you can make it look quite nice.

      They are good. But they don't help your total land count. Ive been using rupture spires and the jumpstart land. I have a 2 rare limit in my packs, sometimes I use rare lands. My Shrine's pack has a city of brass XD cuz its multicolor.

    Once you create your jumpstart deck and everything is shuffled together how do you sort your cards in order to repack them after the game is over?

    • @xDarknessRikux
      @xDarknessRikux 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I generally pay attention to what cards were in each theme and then sort them out, example well-read generally has like 2 artifact creatures, then of course the color
