But Sanders was wide open AND running free into the end zone to clinch it... Jimmy G had his feet planted squarely and was not under nearly as much pressure, and he whiffed, it's as simple as that. I'll also point out the Sammy Watkins throw that was picture perfect when it needed to be for Mahomes as well to double-down on my point...

Jimmy G is who he is: Solid game manager, not an upper echelon top-10 QB. The top-10 guys have the ability to go out and make plays in the highest pressure situations. Mahomes was indeed mediocre for much of the game, but he made the biggest plays when it absolutely mattered most. Its why NFL historians continue to talk about QBs like Joe Montana and not QBs like Danny White.
He’s a pitcher at heart his dad was a pitcher his arm angles and running throwing the ball is the norm for him at this point it’s just a football ... watch out for mahomeboy

@NDP_03 bro watch it again. Andy reid forced shanahan to make a play. Kc calls a timeout on 3rd down forcing the niners to make a play which they converted big and got into scoring range. Had they called that timeout from the get go they wouldve had atleast 1:30 with 2 timeouts which wouldve been plenty of time to score plus get momentum plus confidence in jimmy
