Cait made it easy for Jinx to escape. She sent every guard away so that Vi could break out her sister. She is choosing her love for Vi over her revenge for Jinx. She let it go.
Wrong take. Episode 7 was a completely different character, it was powder, a powder who didnt have to go through years and years of silco and the burden of killing her family. In the main timeline there is no powder, only jinx, there is no good version of jinx
@@アキコ2003 I'd argue the version of Jinx with Isha, the version that made peace with Vi to save Vander, was a good version of her. Even the version that freed all the Zaunites from Stillwater. There are many good versions of Jinx - she just doesn't believe it herself.
@@アキコ2003i disagree. To Isha, Jinx is a loving and protective sister who sacrificed herself to save Ishas life and survived which means shes coooool asf. who liberated and freed people from prison, a symbol for people to believe in, its like the ULTIMATE cool kid bro
And i can totally understand why shes a bad model dont get me wrong (her being a bad model directly made Isha did what she did), which is very sad but also a cautionary tale about destructive nature of adults to a child and the child not knowing whats safe or not . Till Jinx realize maybe prepare a buckle or two,.. its too late

I dont know as an older sister who has seen my little sis trying foolish stuff like that...I didnt even have it in my mind to have s*x with my bf.... kinda sociopathic behaviour, this scene wqas soo unnecessary and didnt make any sense...it makes only sense if Vi is a sociopath and I haveseen many manyh people complain about the same thing... its just pure fanservice ...nothing else , this scene didnt need to be there
also Caitlyn: " no amount of good deeds can undo our crimes" but what about Caitlyns crimes...? poisoning innocents?? I guess it doesnt count since she is a rich royalty
there IS a champion that plays the piano! :D I'm actually so impressed you catch all those details, and remember stuff from the cinematics and lore, even if you don't remember the names. it's still impressive for someone who has never played the game.
For clarification it wasn’t a mind transfer to Warwick. Singed mentioned before that the regenerative blood combined with viktor’s apex hex tech form would allow him to evolve further. He’s still in his own body, just transformed
I really like *that scene*. Vi's biggest problem is that she is carrying a lot of useless guilt, that's crushing her alive. This is mostly due to how Vander had raised her. He told them that if anything happens to the family it's on her. And she internalized that too much. She thinks that when something goes wrong, it's always because she chooses wrong. When Caitlyn tells her that she effectively let Jinx go she shows Vi four things. She acknowledges that Jinx is not beyond saving, and Vi isn't alone in thinking so. She shows, that she chooses her love for Vi over the revenge on Jinx. She shows her that she knows her, and accepts her as she is. And most importantly, she takes the burden of choosing Powder's fate off her shoulders. Cait let Jinx go, whatever Jinx ends up doing it's not solely on Vi anymore. Once more for the people in the back: what happens with Jinx, is not on Vi anymore. I cannot imagine the colossal weight that must've taken off Vi's shoulders. And we're only human, emotional catharsis comes with a desire for physical. And now that the thoughtful analysis is done: I'm so down fucking bad for Vi, she is bad as fuck.
THANKS! For some reason, people expect Vi to always be tough, reliable and do the right thing. However, they are ignoring one important thing, she is human too. And she has shouldered way too much pressure by herself. She never really had the chance to unload all these feelings, to talk to someone properly, she always just buried them behind fighting and drinking (remember the beginning of S2E5) in order to remain "strong and tough". The scene with Cait is all these pentup emotions just erupting and her desire for company and healing. I love this scene.
THANK YOU!!! is insane the amount of ppl I've seen saying Vi was being selfish in that moment for not going after Jinx like hello?! not only was she locked up but that woman has never been able to be happy, and Jinx herself realizes this.
The real reason why she gets more and more jacked as the show progresses is just due to her character trait of choosing to carry everyone's burdens as if they were her own.
What I got from this scene is that it is also a parallel to S1E3 where Vi solidifies Powder's trauma by slapping her and calling her a Jinx. Jinx does the same here, she punches Vi and then locks her in a prison cell, which is Vi's trauma. Just like how Powder found comfort in the first person who showed her affection (Silco), Vi is doing the same. She is finding comfort in Caitlyn. It's so sad how people often ignore Vi's trauma. She did not know Jinx was going to off herself. She only knew that Jinx was going to do something crazy and thought it was her mistake again. She always blames herself. I don't understand how people empathise with Jinx and completely overlook what Vi has been through. She had just came out of the prison for a day and people wanted her to just accept Jinx as a new person. We all know Vi would have loved Jinx either way if she just had like more than 5 minutes to talk to her. Even Jinx didn't give her time to properly get used to any change. Vi spent her teenage and young adult years in prison and we can safely assume she did not have a lot of mental development in prison during that time. Still still tries to only protect loved ones just like she did when she was a teenager. You cannot expect her to think rationally after everything she has been through. She doesn't even know Jinx properly. How was she to know what Jinx was gonna do?
The cait/vi reaction from you guys was hilarious!! 😂 Ange, you are sooooo valid cause SAME MY GUY! I think theres alot of great reasons WHY its in the jailcell. Is it weird? sure! Jinx was just there. but its how cait and vi met. Theres parallels of similar movements and shots feom season 1 episode 4 vs this episode. People also think Vi is being selfish cause everyone sees jinx is gonna unalive herself. I dont think Vi truly knows jinx. She knows powder. Anyway theres so many people who have takes. I think what they did was symbolic to how cait and vi met. And how much they ended up trusting eachother.
After watching Arcane, with so many thoughts and emotions, I want to share with everyone how the writing team has excellently built a beautiful and meaningful love story in a dark, complex and tragic context. Cait and Vi is really a bright spot of the film, keeping the whole story on fire, even when problems or other characters are gradually falling into the vortex of despair. The way they build Caitlyn and Vi's relationship is not only subtle but also very deep. One of the details I want to emphasize is the scene where Cait asks Vi: "You really think I needed all the guards at the Hexgates?" This line is not merely a sentence but also shows Cait's deep trust in Vi. How much love and trust Cait has for Vi to break the rules, let the guards leave, create space for Vi to act freely as she pleases. It was not only the belief in Vi's choice, but also the belief that Vi understood that Jinx had changed. In that statement, we can also implicitly understand that she has let go of her hatred for Jinx and the pain of losing her mother (a person who always wants her to follow the rules). Instead, Cait chooses to put her love for Vi above all else. Cait's actions in this scene are also her way of giving Vi the right to choose. Cait knew that Vi and Jinx could leave together, and she was fully aware of the possibility that she would never see Vi again. But Cait still does, still putting love and respect above everything, even her own pain and selfishness. This is a subtle metaphor for the act of letting go. Cait loves Vi unconditionally, respecting Vi's every decision, even if it means that Vi can leave her to go with Jinx. I also see that there are many people who want Cait and Vi to have more direct dialogue emotional scenes that are forced and rushed,... Especially after the two had a big breakup. But it is here that Arcane has applied the principle of "SHOW, DON'T TELL" very well. Isn't one of the successes of the film to make us constantly remember and discuss them, there will be nothing more to say if the show just tell everything. Cait's actions in the prison scene are the clearest demonstration of the affection she has for Vi. Every gentle touch of Cait to Vi, the concern for the wound in the abdomen where she herself smashed the gun, and even Cait's confession that she had met someone else, were all the most sincere apologies. This is a way of expressing affection that I really like - actions that say it all, without clichés. This prison scene is also a parallel to how Cait released Vi earlier. This time, Cait is not only physically free, but also mentally free. Give Vi the right to choose, not forced, not pulled, but let them find each other themselves. Their love transcended all boundaries, all prejudices, all differences like ''oil and water''. Whether in prison or anywhere, their love always exists, helping them both overcome pain and make each other happy. Cait's character development from ss1 to ss2 is very obvious and meaningful. At first, Cait was a somewhat stubborn young lady who wanted everything to go her way. We see this through Cait's psychology in the scene in the bathroom after Vi leaves -- she is angry, she doesn't understand why Vi left against her will. By ss2, there was even a bit of imposition when forcing Vi to join the army. However, through it all, Cait has learned a valuable lesson: Letting go. The phrase "If you love someone, let them go. If they come back, it was meant to be" seems to reflect the spirit of love that Cait has for Vi. It is a deep, sincere, and selfless love than ever before. What Cait wants is not to tie Vi by her side, but for Vi to be happy and find a family that Vi deserves. This is the delicate and humane character development that the writing team has successfully portrayed for Caitlyn. Cait and Vi has chosen love, acceptance and let go of all hatred. It was their actions showed that love more clearly than any words. In addition, one thing I really like about Cait is the subtle of how her personality was built. Cait is the type of person who is quiet and does not express everything to the outside. Right from season 1, she often uses actions to express emotions, such as hugging or kissing Vi. Small actions such as taking Vi unconscious to her own room, she must have been the one who washed and changed Vi's clothes, or the moments when Cait silently watched Vi like the way she looked at Vi's hand in prison after Jinx left, all showed deep concern. Another small but very cute detail is that Cait brought two chairs to the room for both of them to sit together. In particular, the scene of Vi sitting and singing on the table in episode 9 is also very impressive. It can be seen that Vi no longer wears armbands and shoes, she is completely comfortable. This is the moment Vi finally feels at home, feeling healed both physically and mentally. Vi, who had psychological problems and the habit of structuring her nails, is now better thanks to Cait's constant care. In conclusion, the relationship between Cait and Vi is one of Arcane's brightest spots. Every little detail, every action is carefully crafted by the screenwriter, showing the respect, understanding and deep love that the two have for each other. This is not only love, but also healing and companionship on the journey to find oneself again.
Also: "Cait.... I don't fcking care" is most Vi way to solve any doubts and remorse Cait might have😅 their love have been through so much shit that Vi wouldn't even bother to deal with that information. She knows what she wants. And no BS will stop her. 😅 that is true love to me. And I kind of guessed she will deal with "Madie" situation like that after act II. Vi doesn't think, she just loves😅
what were the other 2? I count 4 - Vander's death at Silco's warehouse drugged up with Shimmer - Vander's death as Warwick during Isha's explosion - Vander's mental death by getting mind wiped by Viktor - Vander's body "dying" by getting exploded (again) when he was falling with Jinx
I think it was halucination, whem she spit it out her mouth it didnt drop to the hand. It was empty...but thats what I think. I doubt Cait would give her something that dangerous. Also why would she? 😀
@@cognacyang9342 yeah, but Isha used all three stones. One from gun and two from gauntlets. Not sure where would Cait get another. Also I think Cait decided to let Jinx go/escape after she talked to her in prison and she didn't come back after their talk in prison. I think this scene was made to mess with our heads 😀Not sure but the scene with the stone in her mounth was already in S1...I think. 😀
viktor believes that these people are willing because he can see their desires for better lives, but thinks that their emotions clash with reason. he says that in episode 9.
@@hunteruk3967not only this scene, apparently the last ep was supposed to be 90 min long…. even if is just the script I would love to see the whole product.
23:17 There were still a fair few Zaunites coming up in response to Jayce's speech, though. I think it's mainly the hardliners like Sevika and the Firelight guy that are still holding out. We saw this world's version of Gert coming across the bridge, though that might have just been to evacuate.
you should go back and look at the start of the first episode and pay close attention to the floor in the council room. it has cracks all over except for a wide circle from where mel was. there the floor is completely undamaged
They panned the pov from above so people could see the table and erase any doubt about it and somehow I still see people on Twitter saying it came out of nowhere….
Vi finally ate her cupcake 🍰 💙 👀 🤪 Two other points: 1- Arcane is the "new" lore. So this IS new Viktor. 2- Mel is to be the next champion in League. She'll be released at the start of next season (January)
I've said this on other reaction channels. I believe that in Viktor's mind, Sky is his moral compass, and when he decided to go down a different path, she had to be erased from his memory.
12:19 the champions name is "Jhin" i believe they showed that scene for a reason. It's perhaps jhin, im unsure why they would show that without implying its him
@jet047 yes I know his lore, they wouldn't have showed this character for no reason. It was obvious it's someone important. I get the criticism of the theory. It just is very suspicious with how they shot it.
@@jet047 No the violinist from S1 is Ray Chen, he looked nothing like this guy. This wasnt just your regular cameo, this guy got more screentime than Sevika in the final 2 episodes, for a reason.
To answer your question Ange, if this is canon in league. Everything in Arcane is canon. A couple months ago, Riot decided to make everything one canon universe and got people working to keep it all consistent. So every single thing you see in arcane, any future games, any future cinematics etc, are all 100% canon. Fun Fact: Mel herself is actually coming to the game soon.
I think establishing what is or not canon was never a concern of League developers until recently. I remember a talk from way back then that they were more concerned about the developers being free to create champions as they wanted, as if they characters came from different dimensions if that was the case. So a lot of lore created throughout the years were downright paradoxical. Jinx and Vi being sisters, for example, was not part of either lore when they were created (also can't remember when this was established). Legends of Runeterra was the first actual attempt to gather the lore, if I'm remembering this correctly, when they finally hired a team to work only on lore for all League projects. So even though Arcane bases itself on existing lore, they're pretty much creating the actual canon.
The piano guy was confirmed by the creators to be an easter egg to Jhin, the champion from Ioinia. But they said they're not sure what to do with it just yet
The lore of some champions is diffrent in arcane compared to lore but now Arcane is kanon, so the things you see in Arcane is now Kanon and they changing champions to be similiar to arcane but not all of them
It's actually funny how Vi didn't realize that it's very predictable. Caytlin felt sadness, anger, rage in her being to kill Jinx, she was in love with Vi although she was still in conflict over her sister. Finally Caytlin's anger turned into sadness and sorrow for such a miserable person in her life as Jinx. It's not like he'll forgive her. The anger may have gone and turned into grief, but he'll never forget it. Caytlin thought about Vi, figuring out if she's going to go with her sister or figure it out once and for all. I was counting on finding the cell empty or that she would be there alone. Vi discovers that Caytlin loves her so much that she was willing to let her go with her mother's murderer and Caytlin's anger was no longer there, she was the same Caytlin as before and she doesn't reproach her for anything, she just stayed there to listen to her blame herself, again, like episode 8 of the first season. This time Vi didn't miss the opportunity. When he unbuttons Caytlin's pants he laughs but then Vi does it. They never got to this point, they never went beyond a caress, a hug or a kiss. That reveals Vi's surprise when she sees Caytlin's breasts and she makes a snort like "what do you think?" in the proud face of their weapons. Also notice that Caytlin, upon noticing her dear Vi's wound, tries to be delicate or be careful but the tough one doesn't care, without a doubt Caytlin is brave letting Vi kiss her all over her body knowing the crap she eats.
The hexcore didn’t really contaminate Viktor, it’s all just his own choice. I don’t think this Viktor would have caused the events of the doomed timeline. I feel like Jayce just caused a paradox where he thought Viktor was going to do all that so he tried to kill him BUT ended up causing his Viktor to start the events of that doomed timeline. Viktor in the convo with Singed mentioned that he isn’t willing to sacrifice the humanity in people for further evolution. This alone shows our Viktor had a different mentality from the evil Viktor in the alternate timeline.
Tbh I do think that the Hexcore influenced and changed Viktor. You can immediately tell how different he is the moment he wakes up after being connected to the Arcane and how much he changes after that.

I couldn’t have explained it any better myself
@@Kozioooo"Cait... I don't fcking care", the hottest line ever 🔥😄
@@ART3MIS_1904 Yeah I just can't see Vi expresing her feelings any other way. Didn't expect anything less 🤣
The last Viktor scene is probably one of my favorite scenes in the entire series. Twenty One Pilots also contributed to it. The song is phenominal.
"Further analysis" line from Angelo killed me LOOOOOL
always love the reactions carlie and ange!~ thank you! hype for the last!~
Vander died like... 6 times through this series. They really be using our sentiments.
what were the other 2? I count 4
- Vander's death at Silco's warehouse drugged up with Shimmer
- Vander's death as Warwick during Isha's explosion
- Vander's mental death by getting mind wiped by Viktor
- Vander's body "dying" by getting exploded (again) when he was falling with Jinx
@@Bluewolfzer that's physical ones. He also died on that bridge when he saw the two sisters and chose them over Zaun.
And somehow they still manage to make it feel like a gut punch every time.
Those two kids seriously need a break from seeing their dad die over and over and over
I just realized that cait gave jinx the hex stone when giving her the food.. wow.. what a stud
I thought she always had it damn
I think it was halucination, whem she spit it out her mouth it didnt drop to the hand. It was empty...but thats what I think. I doubt Cait would give her something that dangerous. Also why would she? 😀
@Kozioooo Cait is letting her go... remember Isha took her and vi stone to sacrifice her self...
Sorry it was in music video for season 1 from imagine dragons and it wasnt gemstone but firelight bug😀
The 3 eyed crow represents Jericho Swain. The leader of Noxus
"The vision" part in precise
"We're a reaction channel, I have to analyze shit". MY MAN LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
man the covers are sick, keep them going absolutely incredible
You guys I love you! Sick guitar cover d!
Cover is absolute fire!!🔥
Ange always killing these covers🔥🔥🔥
YOU'RE GUITAR SKILLS ARE AMAZING EACH VID
5:47 what does Viktor mean he will evolve all those willing? He attempted to evolve the unwilling too.
viktor believes that these people are willing because he can see their desires for better lives, but thinks that their emotions clash with reason. he says that in episode 9.
"In a prison cell??"
Seems only fitting given that's where Caitlyn & Vi first met.
even more fitting and funny knowing that it's a cop and a thief making love in the cell xD
17:01 before it's not the case, now it is
Lore is being arcaned
"The champion who play piano" OMG if you know him, you know 😂😂
He is smiling behind his mask
Love the covers 👍
That intro is so good!!
god i looooove the cover at the start 10/10!!!
Co-creator of Arcane confirmed that the original scene with Vi and Caitlyn was a lot spicier and longer. Release the Directors Cut!!
Are we gonna "Snyder Cut" this scene?? 😂
@@hunteruk3967not only this scene, apparently the last ep was supposed to be 90 min long…. even if is just the script I would love to see the whole product.
Did scene between Mel and Jayce in season 1 got the same treatment? I mean, was it suppose to be also longer and showing more?
Yeah we " analyzed " that scene very thoroughly 🤣😂
How to eat your cupcake 😁
geez ange that cover you nailed it so hard that it pains me to remember Isha
4:36 oh good catch there with the crow, I didn't even notice it. Swaiiiiin
23:17 There were still a fair few Zaunites coming up in response to Jayce's speech, though. I think it's mainly the hardliners like Sevika and the Firelight guy that are still holding out. We saw this world's version of Gert coming across the bridge, though that might have just been to evacuate.
I mean, intentions don't matter. Because no one thinks theyre the villian. They are ALL heros in their own story.
fiddle dancing at the corner lmao
The other champion connected with crows is Swain (One of the Noxus Trifarix) and the Principle of Vision.
Swain is Ravens.
you should go back and look at the start of the first episode and pay close attention to the floor in the council room. it has cracks all over except for a wide circle from where mel was. there the floor is completely undamaged
They panned the pov from above so people could see the table and erase any doubt about it and somehow I still see people on Twitter saying it came out of nowhere….
Just wow an episode
they just used warwicks blood. Victor did not transfer to him.
Vi finally ate her cupcake 🍰 💙 👀 🤪
Two other points:
1- Arcane is the "new" lore. So this IS new Viktor.
2- Mel is to be the next champion in League. She'll be released at the start of next season (January)
When I watched Vander's memories slowly burning out, I asked myself, "Why am I torturing myself watching this show?" 😂
"In the prison cell tho!" Is exactly what I said when I watched that scene 😂
Your reactions with each other with THE Vi and Caitlyn scene is SOOOOOO FUNNY
"I'll take this upstairs for... Further analysis"
That guitar intro was brilliant
mannnn the cover of isha's song is crazy good man tears in my eyes
you are right Crows are Fiddlesticks, Ravens are Swain. He was watching Mel
Ok, but your reaction to that Vi and Cait scene was so funny. I laughed so hard😂😂
Jinx put her nails n shi all over the ground lmaooo 😂😂😂
I've said this on other reaction channels. I believe that in Viktor's mind, Sky is his moral compass, and when he decided to go down a different path, she had to be erased from his memory.
I wasn't ready for Jinx with her hair loose
Ange working overtime on that analysis lmao!
Don't forget the tissues Ange, for the tears ofc. 😇
a man of culture ange 😇
Let go more Arcane reaction
Yo Angelo has me dying 😂😂
Pls Ange! Upload this song to your Spotify!! Pleasaase!!! 😭
These reactions are quenching my post Arcane thirst
"ANGELO!!!" 😂🧁
12:26 he catched the Jhin reference hahahaha
Anyone else tear up on ange guitar scene😭
The name of the Ep ''' Killing is A Cycle '' wich fits really well with JHIN (the pianist)
"further analysis" hahahaha
Never been so fucking early. Keen for your reaction on this ep and the next.
12:19 no.. no it is not Jhin, the one that plays the piano 😂
lol edit of fiddle and swain at the corner xD
4:36 Fiddle might be associated with crows but this was a Raven 😉
Vi and Caitlyn gave a new definition to "Straight to jail"
17:01 well, funny you say that...
yes it's 100% canon - confirmed
Mel is actually going to be added as a champion to League soon as well; we don't have much info though, we just know she'll be a mage.
bro Ange is too funny
4:38 swain
Mel conversing with the reaper.
17:02 it is now.
12:19 the champions name is "Jhin" i believe they showed that scene for a reason. It's perhaps jhin, im unsure why they would show that without implying its him
I dont think so, cuz jhin is an ionian.. for this character, its based on a pianist, forgot the name. He was also in s1 act 1
I disagree with it being Jhin as well, his face were shown 3 years ago in a concept art for a Zed comic and he looks like an Ionian native.
@@darknyx9876 oh no my theory has been thwarted by concept art drawn 3 years ago.
Angelo, you might be onto something with the piano guy
crows in this most likely are Swain... which is REALLY interesting...
after the finale of arcane they are updating viktor's ingame lore/design to fit the narrative
the crows represent swain one of the three leaders of Noxus
also arcane IS the new league canon so all you see here is what happened in game
crows, in particular the 3 eyed raven are Swain's
The piano guy was confirmed by the creators to be an easter egg to Jhin, the champion from Ioinia. But they said they're not sure what to do with it just yet
Oh, they are going to need to up their writing game just for Jhin.
as a fellow Angelo and guitar player
we poor one out for Isha to that solo o7
