I'm still grieving
umm blimp theory says she's still alive
i cant believe the whole show is over, i can't wait to see what they make next tho
Jinx is alive, there’s lots of evidence proving she’s alive but only pretending to be gone
@@kylewhamond4031 there is the interesting theory that summs it all up and adding the clues from the show, wish it will be true th-cam.com/video/5syLSuwM9mo/w-d-xo.html

everyone: depressed or crying because they lost something
singed: got everything he ever wanted, what a chad
help 😭
singed mains: You crazy son of a bitch you did it.
What we learned? As long as your mindset is on that love grind, even being a war criminal wont stop you from achieving your goals
If I learned something from League lore, Singed probably got some sort of monkey's paw for Orianna.
Which leads to him committing more war crimes in Runeterra just for his daughter
Oh you better believe, he just started 😂😂😂😂...
My man Ekko gave up the universe of his dreams so he could save everyone. Truly the GOAT. He certainly lived up to his title of "The Boy Savior."
Time to main ekko just to honor him
Correction - "The Boy Who Shattered Time"
I WILL DIE on this hill
Is it really that great if Vi isn't alive in it?
meanwhile singed laughing in the corner because he got everything he could ever want through making everyone elses lives worse through war crimes xD
Do you just have a google alert on arcane videos so you can post the exact same comment on every one?
the way jinx switched from blowing herself up to falling off the ledge so she wouldnt kill ekko too makes me so emotional
There's a non-zero chance Jinx thought Ekko was just another voice in her head at first, and that's why she didn't seem concerned about blowing him up too. Only when she accepted that he was really there did she switch to jumping off the ledge instead, so she wouldn't hurt him...
@@stonerbrony Ekko: …trying to stop an old friend from blowing us both up.
Jinx: Bet. *jumps*
😭😭
And if we think about the evolution of her choices this ep, she went from blowing herself up, to jumping, to not blowing herself up or jumping, to jumping and blowing something else but not herself up (according to prevailing thought). Powderjinx really went full circle on the potential options.
the bomb didnt bug it was sabotaged by maddie. they show her handing it to the guy who was supposed to deliver the bomb
I saw the nail but didn't noticed Maddie was the one passing the bomb
Oh wow! Nice pickup. I didn’t even notice.
Seeing the nail was when I realised I was wrong about her
holy f*k bro I was like: the reason was just a small nail? Lazy writing etc. BUT I GET IT NOW. TY TY TY
@@LaVoieLactee
An important note relating to that. Arcane is so insanely detailed in writing and animation. Even when Jinx is about to pass, each time, "Vi" is written on some part of her body. Like when she cries it's her mascara, or her veins on her eyelids spell Vi. And it ties to the line "we are always together"
In the very first episode of the show, Powder saw a blimp and said "One day, I'm gonna ride one of those things." I strongly believe she's still alive. That last shot is there for a reason.
i agree, but i think her being dead is the better ending, it completes her arc and makes more sense
@@JustCauseFani know, but with all the hints, its kinda obvious she still alive
@nonyourbusiness165 even if she lived the persona jinx 100% died there
@@JustCauseFan No, it honestly doesn't because what would be the point of her dying when she died 5 times at the start of the episode? That takes away from the theme presented. Her talk with Ekko shows that and the talk with Silco in EP 8.
You really gotta post this same comment under every reaction, don't you? Also, sure, could be true, could also be a lot of copium though.
The resolution to Jayce and Victor's story is one of the best things I've seen from a show in a really, really long time. Such a brilliant story.
It was definitely felt good to see it pan out that way, but I don't think it was brilliant story telling. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely fan service with a lot of plotholes. It makes sense if you don't ask questions, but the moment you do... Like--why didn't Jayce just show Victor this from the start instead of blasting him, leading up to a war and the death of a lot of people. Viktor definitely would have stopped if he knew it would lead to an empty husk of a world.
Other questions would be: "How did Viktor go back in time to save Jayce?" when he couldn't even comprehend Ekko's time travel device, saying it couldn't exist. He didn't know how to do it himself, so how did he do it? Lastly, if giving the child Jayce the Arcane wristband led to this, why did Viktor do it in the first place? It's a paradox. It would make more sense if the mage that gave Jayce his wristband was just a random mage or just anybody else, then Viktor showing up in the alternate universe to ask Jayce to stop him in the original timeline would be fine.
for the people in the back that didn't get all the hints
- back in episode 2 : "wether I pull the pin or not, everyone close to me dies". That comes back to haunt Jinx with Isha and Vander. Whe doesn't want that to happen to Vi.
- Jinx's conversation with Silco, where he basically tells her that to break the cycle you need to have the will to walk away. Jinx interpreted that at the time as su*cide, but it's clear it had another meaning.
- Jinx conversation with Vi when she frees her "you're not gonna give up on me are you" then "you deserve to be happy without feeling guilty" Jinx knows that as long as she would be around Vi, Vi could not be happy without remorse. Vi would never stop chasing her, and the fact that jinx killed Caitlyn's mom would always be a problem. "you deserve to be happy with her."
You could think that all of this leads to Jinx sacrificing herself to fulfill all the previous points with her not in the picture, Vi can finally move on. But that would be fogetting Ekko's intervention at the begenning of episode 9 "no matter what heppened in the past, it's never too late to build something new, someone wortt building it for". So instead of sacrifice, Jinx just decides to leave. And the end of episode 9 makes it pretty clear
- Caitlyn looking at the air ducts and vents of the hex gates, where Jinx could have escaped
- The airship you see at the very end is the EXACT same one you see at the very begenning of season 1 episode 1, with Powder saying one day, I'll ride in one of thise things
- the end frames saying the end that are 100% in the glitchy style of Jinx
- and for the keen eyed, you litterally see her escaping the explosion of her hextech grenade before it explodes you see a straight pink trail going away this is Jinx using her shimmer speed (that we've seen in epidode 3,4 and 6) to escape the explosion and jump in an air duct.
Jinx simulates her death, to allow Vi to move on and have a happy life with Caitlyn, and break the cycle. But she's also applying Ekko's advice about letting the past go, and focus on building something new. I guess she didn't grab Ekko with her when leaving, because the trauma of losing Isha (and the everyone close to me dies thing) is still very much at the back of her mind.
This is the perfect ending for the character of Jinx in my opinion. A happy ending with her going fine with Caitlyn would have been way out of place and weird, just like Jinx staying around, being a problem between Vi and Cait. You bet she's on that airship, getting away from Piltover.
And about her relationship with Ekko, coming from the mouth of showrunner Christian Linke himself when he was interviewed by Necrit : "I think we've built a beautiful relationship within Jinx and Ekko, and it's not over."
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sometimes to move forward, you gotta leave a few things behind
@robertdelossantos5844 you get it
I think what Silco was trying to convey was forgiveness. It was hinted in the good timeline with Echo that he has the capacity to forgive and I think that's where the fatherly voice in Jinx's mind went in the prison scene. To break the cycle, one must learn to walk away. A parallel to Ambessa's take on vengeance for the fallen. The cycle ends when you gain the strength to forgive and walk away from it all. I agree Jinx originally took it as sacrifice, then self sacrifice at the end, but Echo got to her in the end and I'm sure Jinx chose to forgive. Forgive her sister for abandoning her and forgive herself for causing the death of their father, beautifully portrayed in her farewell embrace with Warwick. And her fighting to survive and escaping to give Vi the chance to move on is a testimate to Echo's advice to Powder. Sometimes to take a leap forward, you have to leave things behind. The best written character in Arcane!
Also, when we see people at the end writing names on papers and then burning it, we see Ekko doing the same. Now its a wild theory, but i think he might have wrote Heimerdingers name on that paper, and he knows that she is alive. Just something i want to believe in.
I saw some people discuss a neat detail about Ekko. In this episode we see Future Viktor give Jayce different runes in an attempt to stop the future. In the reality that comes to pass the rune given to Jayce is what inspired Ekko (as said in Episode 7) to make the Z Drive which helped him get home.
That rune is also called the rune of inspiration. Neat detail :)
I love Ekko and Jynx had graffiti of each other in the final battle. Ekko has an X on his chest in Jynx’s colors, and Jynx’s balloon/hideout has Firelight/Ekko symbols too. The balloon also had homages for Isha too, which is a super nice detail, especially since nothing was said about her in the finale.
Arcane will always be remembered as one of the greatest shows ever made. I really enjoyed the show. I will miss it
this finale aired just before i started my final exam to become a math teacher.
i pre-traumatized myself to get it out of the way early! it was perfect
Hope you did wonderfully ❤
Ang is one of the only reaction channels that makes me cry when she cries! You can tell her heart breaks with ours for the characters and it’s sad all over again. Absolutely beautiful final episode, and a phenomenal series! Can’t wait for the spinoffs!

Just a split second before the explosion we see a dash of light going up. This is Jinx running away from the explosion.
As well as Caitlyn looking at the hexgates and seeing the cooling system being attached to it an smiling once she saw it 🤔
You are so true
Just here to say SUPPOSEDLY. :)
@@FiryaFYI Yeah but supposedly it is like 99% the case, otherwise there wouldnt be reason for the blimp, cait checking the vents and the random pink light XD
@@prostechlapec9247This. The artists are very particular with their attention to detail.
14:50 I Just realized a hella depressing parallel to this scene. Y’all remember in season 1 episode 1 when Vi caught Powder when she was just abt to fall off that roof? This is the parallel to that. I’m gonna go cry now🥲✌️
I love the fact that Jinx noticed Ekko Z-Drive with her signature little monkey and might've guessed that the person Ekko was referring to when he said "someone special" was herself.
i'm dying of curiosity because i really want to know what was going through her head in that moment
That jolly chimp is the symbol of the Arcane, not just of magical energy in the show as well as this show business itself.
Everything came from it since 2013, when 'Get Jinxed' MV released. What Jinx wanted was just a little bit of fun but it caused explosion and destruction to somewhere. But if she never activated the chimp then nothing would happened to her universe and ours.
Jayce and Viktor are the core of the show
But Jinx and Vi are the heart of it
The hexcore of the show, one could say
Can i also point out that when the pink shimmer line happens (ie jinx escaping), the lyric at that exact moment is "but i ran out" - might be a stretch but taken with all the other coincidences... #jinxisalive
You said it, Jinx has the best redemption arc ever🤖🩵🙌🏼Seeing this again and seeing you cry was even more emotional😭😭😭You are unique cause every emotional shock this episode put you through I felt, your feelings come out and grab us🥰You have done an exceptional job reacting to this show👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼You’ve extraordinary⭐️🌙🪐🫶🏼
ugh so so glad we can feel all the emotions of this finale together 🙏🥹
I'll raise your spirits. Jinx didn't die, she got out through the vents with her speed and took the airship they showed in the end. She walked away, breaking the cycle
This finale felt almost like Inception. There’s multiple high stakes plot lines going on simultaneously, time is manipulated in a very brilliant and entertaining way, and the whole episode needs to be rewatched to completely understand all of the incredibly important, subtle things that you absolutely miss on the first viewing.
The woman with the blue hair was the first prisoner to touch Jinx's shoulder on the rescue and the waitress Mylo was trying to hit on in the other timeline.
I think we had a full cycle... I think Cait was using Maddie to deal with her pain and Ambessa found out and turned Maddie against Cait.
I think that Maddie was a plant, a honey pot. Even her weapon of choice was a smoke grenade launcher, concealment. She was subterfuge all the way.
I'm pretty sure Maddie is Marcus' daughter.
@@spiralwarrior6569 Marcus Daughter was called Ren and she is just a little kid, nothing to do with Maddie
I've seen a lot of people who are unsatisfied with the finale. I understand that a few more episodes would have helped, like more Isha or showing what Cait actually did as a dictator.
Personally, they nailed the ending with the timeframe afforded to them. They hit the right notes and didn't overstay anything.
Ekko MVP
There are also some people saying the Vi and Cait sex scene should be cut short while Ekko persuading Jinx was supposed to be longer
@@zellrang Мне кажется сцену с Кейт и Ви в тюрьме нужно показать полностью как она есть. И конечно же показать полную версию разговора Джинкс и Экко и их подготовку к битве
Singed got his happy ending. Major Singed W.
lesson of arcane: war crimes will get you want you want xD
@ true, jinx committed many war crimes and gets to walk away without punishment
@@Real_GenjiThat is still just a theory though, they left it open on purpose, but they might really kill her off considering that it would feel way too cheap for her to appear in some of the future shows. And in this timeline Singed still didn’t commit war crimes. He did some fucked up things though, really funny seeing Singed getting the best ending out of the bunch.
@@ProFac992 its not a theory she is alive its obvious
@@KeelahSelai161 It's a theory until proven otherwise, just because you are sure she is alive doesn't mean she is. It can be purposefully done for misdirection, same way they misdirected people into thinking Viktor was actually Ryze. If they wanted you to be sure she is alive they would show her in aftercredits or something.
The fact almost nobody questioned Maddie being a double agent and didn't feel out of place a testament to the writing
absolutely!!!
I actually _HEAVILY_ disagree with the take that Maddie is a double agent. I think it's abundantly clear that Ambessa has been manipulating her the way she manipulates everyone else - by purposefully manipulating their emotional connections & relationships the same way that Mel does magically & unintentionally.
Maddie's character is initially introduced as looking up to both Caitlyn & Violet, and she's the naïve new recruit with no experience or authority. During the initial attack, she's directly in danger with everyone else, and not a part of the operation that Ambessa is running that stages the entire attack.
After Vi & Cait split paths, Maddie & Caitlyn stay together as Vi & Loris pair up, and Ambessa manipulates that connection because Maddie is the easiest & most vulnerable individual to manipulate & influence.
Maddie's trying to convince Caitlyn to give up her Martial Law authority that Ambessa granted her to bring back the council. She derogatorily calls Cait Ambessa in private when she doesn't, _all of which are precisely the opposite of what she would be doing as a double agent for Ambessa._
Caitlyn continually acts more & more emotionally cold towards Maddie and starts utilizing her absolute military authority that Maddie is trying to get her to give up. Caitlyn uses it to order her around whenever Maddie's trying to comfort her emotionally. It's a hallmark of an abusive power dynamic in their relationship that's reinforced by military rank, social status, celebrity, and attachment - all of which put Maddie in the position of the victim _because she is utterly powerless in every facet of that relationship._
When she tries to comfort Caitlyn, Cait pulls her hand away coldly and orders Maddie out as Vi comes in, and Maddie leaves the door open the same way Powder does when Vi & Mylo are talking about her. In the same episode Caitlyn & Vi get together in the prison cell for emotional comfort - the exact thing she said she didn't need from someone she also mentions she got together with as Vi cuts her off.
Everything about Maddie's actions are written as emotional reaction by an abuse victim to a feeling of betrayal by both Caitlyn AND Violet - the two people her character was established as looking up to with nothing but starry-eyed celebrity.
That's why she escapes by attempting to find anyone who will give her power over that situation - hence why she turns on Caitlyn, the person she respected most, and sides with Ambessa, the person she was completely against.
I really love it. VA Viktor. Deep tone and calm
+ the accent!
We are all crying with you, Ange
I'm so relieved that I wasn't the only one that was a FREAKING MESS in the scene with Jayce & Viktor and the Jinxs sacrifice, especially the last one I COULDN'T STOP CRYING, also you are real for praising Mel gorgeous looks while still crying for all the deaths, I was the same. Ekko my boy give up a happy universe because he knew that hus people need him, and now just have his memories, Vi loosing her family so many times, and so many people loose their lifes and loves ones, yet finally finally they have a voice and could build a tomorrow for their people, as it should be since the beginning, I'm happy but I'm sad and confuse.
This series is probably going to be remember as one of the best, the art, the soundtrack, the stories, the character are so gray, so imperfect, so much layers and complex, so human. Wherever call this show a greek tradegy it was so right.
sorry to spoiler u but jinx is still alive
You never fill the hole. It gets smaller, but you never fill it.
Jinx is alive. You can see her shimmer away right as the explosion goes off. This is why Caitlyn is looking at the building's vent system and we see an airship like the one she wanted to fly in from season 1.
Sadly, not true. If you actually watch slowly you see the effect multiple times flashing on and off. So if your hypothesis is true, then there are 4 Jinx's that left. As well as there are the exact same jolts of multiple colors. So its just how the artist drew the fx.
Caitlyn looking at the vents is a far better rabbit hole to go down or put your money on.
@@iceman10129 him true, Jinx is alive
@@iceman10129 No Jinx is alive. There was only 1 pink streak the rest are orange from the initial blast and then blue electricity. Go rewatch it in a slowed down speed.
@@iceman10129 I think the blimp theory is the best one. They show the blimp flying out of Piltover in the exact same motion as the 1st scene. That can't be mere coincidence since it would be superfluous to end the show that way if there was no correlation. It's plot device for the next spinoff. I am guessing the next ingame character she runs into would be Teemo or Lux since they're both in the Jinx Cinematic when she goes recruiting other champions. Lux is her (ingame) childhood friend and Isha is an foreshadowing easter egg of Teemo.
@@8KFlow Im okay with that callback, but isn't it more likely that the true callback is here arriving to save the day in her own blimp with Ekko? If Jinx lives, all of the emotional weight is fully undercut.
Its like if you watched Up and at the end of the movie you found out that his wife was still alive.
Jinx is actually alive, during the explosion u can see a pink shimmer line that happens when jinx zoom away, and previous episodes in the prison silco says to break the cycle by walking away, and during season 1 powder says she wants to ride the balloon one day so at the end they show us the balloon going away and closing the end in jinx style.
As a former league player and jinx main, this show was amazing. There are a bunch of clues that suggest jinx might be alive. Some might be just fans coping, some could be solid. Cait looking at vent diagrams while holding a monkey bomb head. Pink/purple streak jetting out of explosion. Last shot of s2 is a blimp, and in s1e1 powder mentioned she's gonna ride those one day. Also in netflix's arcane after glow for s2 act 3, the cast and creators were asked if jinx was still alive? Ella Purnell sheepishly said "we dont know, we’ll leave that open to interpretation", then she hid behind the question card smiling. Anyway love your guys channel, looking forward to more reactions!
The crying is so real 😭😭 everytime i watch a reaction im mourning all over again... wtf am i gonna do with no more arcane 😩😭
Your grasp of Viktors words near the end is lovely. I find him and, that scene in particular, to be the most powerful parts of the entire series. Thank you!
I cried so bad at the end I couldn't breathe either😭
Jinx is definitely alive. You see a purple light dash into one of the air vents, the same purple light we see everytime she uses shimmer to move, just before the explosion and then the final scene showing the airship she always wanted to ride on
Jinx had nothing to redeem. When you really think about it. But I guess class oppression was just something they decided to brush over. I'm glad she's alive.
Go back and watch the explosion again...there's a bright purple streak to the upper right. Then there's the blimp at the end.
I CALLED IT!!! I F-ING CALLED IT!!!! Maddie and Ambessa working together!!!!
And I feel so vindicated now that it was also confirmed by the lead writer!!! Maddie was a plant all along!!
- Maddie was the first to beat her chest
- Maddie was in bed (god that still makes me sick) trying to get Cait to see Ambessa is trying to “protect them”
- Maddie was eaves dropping at the door when Cate & Vi had their argument about Powder
- Maddie was carrying the bomb…and also sabotaged it
- Maddie showed ZERO remorse or hesitation in pulling the trigger
Then there is what Ambessa told Vi in Episode 6...."your absence provided a vacuum I was able to fill." She could have been meaning herself...but it is 100% confirmed now that she meant Maddie.
Cait wasn’t anything to Maddie…she was a job.
this was literally one of the easiest things to figure out in arcane but good job lmao
Definitely had Tyrion and Shae vibes from game of thrones, I thought of that immediately when i saw them together the first time.
Jinx had a fake death she didn’t actually die
I wish I had this much emotion sometimes.
remember what Silco said? Jinx is Perfect.
Jinx is 900% Alive.
We can see a purple flash leaving the explosion smoke in a direction.
The map Caitlyn was reading had pipes near the explosion going same direction the flash above went.
The ''The END'' was Jinx's style.
Every character became what they were in the League universe which means Jinx needs to be alive.
i knew league lore before watching arcane, and i can assure everyone. jinx is very much alive
Rewatching you notice details. Opening. Each time Ekko rewound time he came closer to Jinx until she couldn't detonate without injuring him, hence falling to her death and detonating...Jinx still cares.
This is obviously not confirmed but there are a lot of theories in the arcane community that show Jinx is probably alive. You can see a violet (shimmer like) lighting just before the explosion, besides Caitlyin checks the ventilation system with the monkey bomb in her hand (they probably did not find a body) and smiles. Finally, in the first season Powder says: I ll ride one of those (referring to the zeppelin) and in the last scene we can see one flying away.
:)
My boy Singed with another W. He can’t keep getting away with this 😂😂
Its look like jinx survived. "she died/got away " to end the cyckle, like she said. Few hints where given and on todays behind scenes, the question was asked, is she dead, and answer was "no one knows" also the actress smiling and hiding her face behind quenote. But Viktor and jayce are gone, also heimerdinger and Vander and his beast mode
you are unique in this reaction genre... one of so many examples that drew me into watching your take is in s2 e7-- your respectful comment on how the animators created the idea of paint applied to the wall of Ekko's mural. thx 4 the series.
i believe jinx is alive they show a little shimmer dash and dont reveal who was on the airship so it was probably jinx "walking away" they also showed blueprints of the vent she woulda dashed through
this show i think is the one show ive seen you fully cry and i have to say i feel the same but also jinx is for sure not dead
Jinx basically faked her death, braking the cycle is her walking away from everything. If vi knew jinx was alive, she would not stop searching for her sister, so jinx doing this allows her sister closer and the opportunity for her to leave
some people think Jinx is alive. i do as well before the bomb goes off there is purple lighting leaving witch, we only see with jinx. plus the fact catlen is looking through the air vents and the unknow boot leaving.
Jinx is alive, when the explosion happened you can see a purple lining going to a ventilation, she was even told that her cycle of destruction and misery will only end once shes gone, so she faked her death so VI can have a happy life also its been confirmed as well that theres going to be spin offs from the show so we most likely will get one about ekko, mel and so on maybe even kait's and vi's story or maybe even powder/Jinx
5:05 never trust a ginger

As a ginger, OUCH 💀
@Kalakeiko Adapt
@@diax0186 Adapt to what? Shitty stereotypes and representation?
I know they say season 2 is the end, but I really hope for season 3.
Ange! Jinx is definitely alive, there are 3 pieces of evidence:
1. Stray purple streak during the explosion
2. Caitlyn is looking through the schematics of the vent system of SPECIFICALLY the Hexgate before smiling at her destroyed Monkeybomb
3. The final shot is both a callback to her line in the very first episode as children, and it VERY quickly flashes "The End" in her signature style
*“This world is a wasteland, please let me go”,* in the beginning it’s a song about suicide, but with the end HEAVILY implying that Jinx survived and escaped, it’s about how she’s done with everything in Zaun and Piltover and just wants to leave to start a new life. She knew that if Vi knew or even suspected she was alive she would do anything and everything to get back to her sister. But Jinx doesn’t want to burden Vi with having to feel like she had to choose between her and a happy life with Cait, and she knows that if she is to *truly* start healing herself, she needs to do so on her own.
you realize that "Wasteland" starts with "please let me go" and ends with "don't let me go"
@ I know and I wish they put that last part in the episode proper, but they wanted to give audiences a sense of dread, and that last line gives you hope.
I get that Jinx believes it to be the case, but I don't think it's genuinely true that the only way Vi could be happy is if Jinx is no longer in her life. It is probably extremely healthy for Jinx to get some time completely to herself and divorced from her past to figure herself out, but I'd like to imagine those two can still reconnect down the line whenever Jinx is ready. They both deserve it.
i like watching reactors. i was raised to control myself and not show emotion. your emotion touches me. Thank you.
Jinx is super jinx she also jinxed her death.... she can't even die right hahahah SHE'S ALIVE!!!!
THEORY TIME: I'm pretty sure they were signaling Jinx survived:
1) I believe, the one single pink thread during the explosion to the one of the vents is her shimmer glitch.
2) see Cait searching the vents with Jinx's bomb in her hand to look for her.
3) The final scene with the air ducts was a reference back to first episode where Powder was saying, she would ride one of them one day
4) She found the will to walk away, just like Silco said.
5) So I will also assume Jinx saying "I'm always with you, even when we're worlds apart" was indeed a foreshadowing.
With all that being said, I don't know if we'll ever get a 100% proof of this since the series is coming to an end. I mean they confirmed that we'll get to see other stories from the Lol Lore but who knows if they are actually planning on bringing them back or if it was just a wink at the audience 🙃
Don't worry Ange Jinx is alive ❤ cait looked at the hexgate blueprint and zooms in the air vents... It's teasing us
They are all alive dont worry
To be honest, I hated how they portrayed Viktor as a villain. He only had good intentions even in the end, considering he did heal people with the Arcane and his community was peaceful. It wasn't until Jayce had tried to kill him and all hell broke lose afterwards that he realised that humanity is doomed by their emotions and that war, greed and suffering will never end because of that, so with that realisation and the influence of the Arcane he went on with his plan cure all of humanity.
It sucks that they portrayed him as a villain and the final boss and greater evil that needs to be defeated by everyone and even connecting Piltover and Zaun, which is exactly what Viktor always wanted from the start, and speed running his development just so he could be somewhat like his League counterpart who isn't even a villain and just someone who helps people with their permission smh.
At least they made him regret his decision, revealed that the mage who saved Jayce and his mom was Viktor and that he went back in time multiple times to try and avoid the dystopian future and had him save the world with Jayce by destroying the anomaly.
The thought of everyone in Piltover and Zaun not knowing what actually happened and believing that Viktor was the evil villain who doomed them all, while Jayce was the brave hero who saved the world and sacrificed himself is just heartbreaking and tragic and they deserved much better.
I wish they just went with his League of Legends version and had him heal people with his inventions in Zaun instead of making him a god who controls everyone with the intention of curing humanity and regretting it.
I love your reaction so much because I was the same and still am. I watched the last episode two days ago and Im still not over it and cried again watching your reaction. I am alone so people like you help me grieve, this show was a masterpiece and thanks for your reactions.
What really hit me was Jinx thought Ekko was a hallucination, so she kept trying to pull the pin on the grenade. But when she saw him bleeding and he said, "I'm gonna see if I can talk an old friend out of blowing us up" she realized he was really there. So, she decided to fall to her death - so it would hurt him in the process.
"The cycle only ends when you choose to walk away."
Be she dead or somewhere far from Piltover, Jinx is dead. But that doesn't mean Powder isn't still out there.
It was so cool seeing Caitlyn and Mel defeat Ambessa. She had a long run, but it's time to go, especially as she was trying to invade another country.
Next series is Noxus coming soon. Jinx still alive 😊
Seeing Angelina cry, made me cry! And I didn't even cried when I saw Arcane!!!
at the start of Jinx's bomb explosion you can see a purple strike of light moving away...
My 2 cent... Remember S2E7 when Jinx was putting away the necklace? What did we saw in that drawer and remember what Everyone keeps telling that version of Jinx? I have a feeling Jinx will return with style.
If it makes you feel any better, in the first few frames of the explosion that jinx did with her grenade while being held by warwick, you can see a pink line traveling away from the explosion. Arcane is a 250 million dollar show, they didnt add that in for nothing. Idc what you tell me, jinx is 100% alive.
Also I can’t blame you for not noticing this I didn’t either
But Jinx is most likely alive there’s like 4 frames immediately after the explosion which shows she gets away indicated by the pink shimmer streak
It’s implied she most likely left for good and is forever distancing herself from anyone she cares about, many people theorize that she left on the airship in the final scene and I agree
The scene is a callback to what powder said in S1 Ep1 start and the airship even enters the frame the EXACT same way and it’s the EXACT same airship model
I like how Ambessa was so overwhelming but the deceiver was able to kill her with a flick of her fingers. The threat of the black rose is real
i dont know if someone already mentioned it but jinx survived her VA confirmed it and u can see the shimmer dash effect in the top right corner shortly before the bomb explodes and in my opinion is Singed the true Villain ngl
As I'm watching this again, I realize they may have mirrored the first scene of this episode from season 1. Ekko still saves Jinx in s2 from blowing herself up just like he did in season 1. It's not exactly clear, but in s1, she really looks like she gave up and is fine with killing herself in her own explosion. Many things are mirrored thematically from season 1 and I wouldn't be surprised if this is not just another one of those.
2:10 About Ekko and Jinx meeting again: there was a bunch of scenes that got cut out for time. When they show up again on the battlefield later, you'll notice that Ekko and the Fireflies are wearing Jinx stuff on their outfits, and Jinx is wearing Ekko's jacket. That should give you some idea of what went on between the two.
3:00 Using Hexgate shipping containers as artillery is the most Piltover thing ever.
8:42 If you pay attention to the clock face, you can see where Ekko's green sword-bat thing comes from. It was one of the clock hands on the smaller clock on the Hexgate tower. So poignant.
11:22 In this moment, everyone falls for the call to paradise except for Jayce and Ekko. Jayce already saw where that "utopian" path leads to, while Ekko already left his personal paradise to come back and fight for this world. Don't credit me for that analysis, other TH-cam videos pointed that out.
15:03 If you watch the explosion and freeze at exactly the right frame, you'll see a magenta streak just before the explosion goes off, showing you that Jinx escaped.
Warm reminder: Jinx is not dead
Tq😅
I think my only problem with the finale is that it should’ve been way longer. They kind of disregard the whole Piltover vs Zaun thing in the finale, Isna is not even mentioned once, Sevika doesn’t say a single line, we don’t see Ekko and Jinx’s full reunion, it’s clear the show was meant to be a lot longer but they had to cut for time.
However, the stuff they do show in it was glorious, episode 7 is easily my favourite. Heimerdinger’s song has been stuck in my head since I heard it, I loved Ekko reconnecting with (a version of) Jinx, Jayce’s journey to understand the dangers of Hextech was agonizingly beautiful, Heimerdinger sacrificing himself so Ekko can complete the mission, Ekko’s final look at Jinx before he goes through the anomaly portal, god it was so good. I’m gonna miss this show.
The writers originally had it longer but were instructed to shorten it by executives ;-;
I love always your reaction’s and the way you understood and analyse the shows and movies
Powder vs Jinx is alive !!!
No body, no death.
The first sentence that Powder says in the show in the first episode is ( one day, I’m gonna ride in one of those things )
And the last scene of Arcane
she rides one of those things and flies away across the sea, leaving the city.
Also Silco say ( I think the cycle only ends when you find the will to walk away )
And also Ekko say ( Sometimes taking a leap forward means leaving a few things behind )
Jinx vs Powder fly away in the boat that she said that one day she would ride
Amazing reaction, this is how I was feeling after the end of this amazing show ❤
THE TWISTSSSSS, i cant believe it was viktor all along!! also jinx is still alive 👀👀👀
POV Everyone crying cause they think Jinx is dead : 🤡🤡
I got good news!
One of the directors of creators of arcane has confirmed they are working on 3 New LoL shows like arcane, one has been in production for over a year already
damn Ange got me crying 😭
It is sad, I wish for our Jinx to found the way (and will) to live, she (for she, not for Powder from paralel universe, ... but it is comforting that in paralel universe Powder exists too, and lives good life) deserved it after all she got through, but, well this ending is also bringing her peace...
hope it makes u feel good to know now that jinx didn't die to the explosion.
@@fahimadnan2936 thx, found interesting theory about it th-cam.com/video/5syLSuwM9mo/w-d-xo.html
I just finished the season 2 ... Masterpiece ... I loved your reaction .. and Thank you Fortiche.
Yall I can’t wait
Look up “MK11 Jax fatal blow”
Thats literally what this show does to your heart and feelings
Arcane is one of the best greatest show ever
Jinx didn’t die. You see her pink lightning jump out of the explosion.
The Jinxer who Vi tried to save isn't just a random Jinxer, she's one who's front-and-center when Jinx breaks them out of prison, and she's the bandmate alternate Milo tries to hit on in episode 7
In the end. In was Powder who sacrificed herself for Vi n Vander. We see Vander remember putting Vi & Powder to sleep before blowing out the candle. Then Jinx decided to split without saying goodbye, then Powder drove the airship to who knows where. “Always with you, Sis; even when we’re worlds apart” Jinx definitely telling Vi goodbye I’m leaving to another place. 😌
I feel so validated, maybe sobbing uncontrollably is a universal experience with this episode :)
Hmmm. Jinx didn't die. There are several things to indicate this. One of the best things is on a certain frame right as the explosion happens, you see one of those pink streaks that Jinx uses when she kind of teleports. I'd encourage you to look at all the reasons why she's still alive. Feels good ^^
Jinx drawing inspiration from Isha for her new look and blimp 😭 arcane creators just love making us.. feel
Jinx si alive btw before explosion u can see the shimmer blink and go out of the explosion @ANGELINA
Ange, all Im gonna say is... rewatch the scene of Jinx falling a few more times. Just do it.
❤❤❤ I love jinx story please don't stop the story
