Hi. I’ve been following your contents for a while now and just want to tell you how much I admire your courage!!! I am also in my mid 20s, from East Asia (Japan) and have a Danish partner. It was a huge step for us when we first met each other’s parents. For me, I was so stressed. From my Japanese experience, I had to be perfect in front of the in-laws. But I love how Danes treat their family and their beloved ones❤ I imagine there has been many difficulties to be with someone who has such a different background but I can assure you, it’s totally worth it! Last year, we made a big choice that I move to Denmark and had been struggling with learning Danish language. Even though Danes speak English very well, you still need Danish to fully understand their way of thinking and culture. I don’t know if you will ever learn Danish but I support you with all my hear no matter what😊 Just know that you’re not alone❤

Glad Kevin got to go back home and visit his beloved homeland and spend time with his lovely family! The homemade foods looked amazing! Why don't you guys incorporate some Danish foods into the restaurant menu? I would love to visit Mija Seoul in the near future when I visit Korea. 😊
EDIT: I just heard about Danish hotdogs being good! Maybe add Danish streetfood to the Mija Seoul menu too! A special tasting menu!

Also, I can't help but chuckle at this vlog bringing up the possibilities of this relationship being forever and starting to think that way (which I'm sure is an oversimplification) and yet in this same vlog you left your jointly owned(?) or at least ran restaurant. Like, that's not a baby but I imagine if you broke up he isn't just the head chef you'd need to replace. All the work and partnership he did by your side from the start must mean he's more than just the head chef. Maybe not? But either way, I imagine the breakup would be complicated and messy given the business partnership. I'm just saying you'd normally think you'd only do that AFTER you have decided they are your future life partner.

Absolutely fabulous video. Kevin's family is awesome. His dad and stepmom are great. His mom is in great shape. Watching Dooby and Kevin in the water looks so cold & windy. The home cooking that Kevin and family were doing was great and if I had less dietic restrictions, I would enjoy trying. Everything was interesting and fun to watch the couple enjoying themselves. Great pairing of Dooby and Kevin. One of the best, considering Dooby makes great videos. I just watched one of my favorite chef, who's a older Korean woman, Seonkyeong Longest and her husband Jacob, who's on Jeju Island. She has a TH-cam channel Asian at Home and had been on Food Network, winning a challenge by Robert Irving. I would love to see them visiting your restaurant and seeing a collaboration video at the restaurant. Much happiness to Kevin & Dooby from Hawaii.

Probably a long time considering how much they’ve invested in this relationship. He lives with her in a foreign country and it seems like he’s primarily in charge of running their restaurant, which they spent months and a lot of money building. Whatever issues they run into, they’re going to have to work through it likely in a similar fashion that married couples do since they’re practically married already.

You really shouldn't be feeding ducks bread. It doesn't have a lot of nutritional value for ducks and fills the duck's stomach so that it doesn't forage for foods it would naturally eat, which can lead to malnutrition.
Also, it takes 30 hours to get to Seoul to Copenhagen?
