@ 82 years old I have a 2023 300 XCW Ersbergrodeo and it is an easy motorcycle to ride in no trails cross-country take it as it comes conditions and, having 57 HP at hand you can pass freeway traffic with its 80 mph top speed. The only thing I did was install an idle djustment screw,..TuBliss F/R and a few suspension clicks ..yeah man make my octogenarian days. ...love my Katoom~~~~~~~~~~Braaap! I as well approach 60, ride a 300cc two stroke as a dual sport. Legalize it for the street and ride the light bike. 90mph top speed and the best low speed torque monster ever made. Mine is a Beta Italian princess!
I grabbed a 2024 xcw 300 a couple months ago I’m at 17 hours and the bike is absolutely amazing , it’s a tractor in the hard stuff. Amazing amazing bike and a great review.
Thanks for your review. I've been thinking hard about getting one. Currently on a 500EXC. It's a want, not a need, so trying to wait until next year but everyone keeps saying to buy one now. Enjoy the ride!
I had a 23 450xc and that thing was a toad in the woods. I finally pulled the trigger on a 24 300xcw and I can’t even believe how well they are out of the box.
I have 12 hr iv blown out the forks the oil pump looks wet which is my main concern at the moment i dont like thinking the pump is sucking air the clutch master cylinder leaks everytime i ride it other than that its a really fun bike to ride starts right up but for 12k i mighta went a diff route im constantly working on this thing doing maintenance

Thank you for this helpful review. Most reviews are from pros, not average trail riders (which I am), and I appreciate your "real world" perspective.

Have to agree, I've had Kawasaki and Yamaha over the years but my new 2024 KTM 300 XC-W is unique and has an overall sense of just the right bike.

Poway Powersports always discounts leftover models, no mark ups, no add ons, no assembly, and family owned.
Good review. I just bought one. 😊

Should I get the 300XC or the XCW model? I heard the 300XC have stiffer suspension.
