You should post a quick Road cruising video. I'd be interested to see how the gearing would be during a Transit section and what kind of RPMs the bike would be pulling during those sections.... We do lots of trips out west where we have to ride along the roads for 8 miles or so to get to another trail system. With my 150 xcw I tend to keep it under 30 mph just so it's not singing the whole way haha.
Such a sweet bike!! We have always ridden 300's but went the other way and got a pair of 2024 xcf350's. We really love how they perform in the desert and single track. Have fun with that beautiful bike.
I have a GasGas EC300 and a EX250F. The four stroke is a blast on the more open type trails and wider “single track” stuff. But we mostly ride rocky single track, creeping around in the forest now, and I prefer my 2 stroke. It’s less physical work to ride, in the summer I don’t feel like I’m sitting on top of an oven, and the lug and chug of the engine is great. In a perfect world, have both. 😀 But if I had to choose one, it’s the 2 stroke.
Perfect idle cold? With the yellow enrichment pushed in? I can’t start mine cold 60° up without pushing the enrichment button in. Needs to warm up a while before or it can’t idle. Love the bike overall though. Traded a 21 beta 350 for a 300 hard enduro.🤘
You're going to love it! Just a quick warning the manual for the 2024 300 XCW is incorrect as of last time I checked. Red knob is for idle, clockwise to increase. Yellow knob is cold start, turn yellow knob counterclockwise until it stops, turn it back in 30 clicks then it's set correctly. Push the yellow knob in to engage cold start, roll the throttle forward to disengage cold start. Lots of stuff carried over from the TPI bikes in the TBI manual lots of it is wrong
Ive got 20hrs on mine now. Its such a smooth woods machine!
Was going to get used 17+ 300xc-w, but man these new 24s are so sweet that now I'm thinking about just getting 24 and enjoy it.
I'd bite the bullet - hard to think they'll improve on TBI; in fact, with EU emissions crap they'll probably get worse going forward 🤷♂

Does this bike come with a spark arrestor?
Awesome review man! I cant eait to get my hands on one.
You still feel as good about it a few months later now?
If it got stolen, I would go by the exact same bike tomorrow. There's a 25-hour review on my channel check it out

What's it like on fuel compared to the 350 ?
A little worse. I've got 20 hours on mine now. It's my first 2T and it's noticeable. But we never really go more than 30 or 40Km, so no issues.
Do you know if KTM has a map switch for that model? I know they come on the Hard Enduro model.
Have you had a 300 2 stroke before? MN or WI? The accent is strong.
Did you sell the 350 xcfw ?
Not yet but It's up for sale, If I get the right price it will go, otherwise I'll just keep it
I love rideing w these ktm , My XR runs best on ktm tears.
