@@circularangle4324 nope, illaoi´s test just added one more voice, the one of nagakabouros i think? that gave him a new purpouse, fight the ruination, and its not that he is insane, more like is his new mission, assigned to him when he "died" in the deep, the human part in him is mostly gone, just his desire for justice or revenge against those who would betray their mates

his voice lines in league indicate that he cares for his teammates and treat them as if they were his crew
And its rubbish ...pyke being wholesome instead of being a savage brutal killer ??? Making games for children really messes up the character theme

pyke is such a well built character in all aspects, design, lore, the way he looks like a bloodthirsty killer but actually has a purpose behind it, how he defends the weak, etc.

Damn, comparing him to the ruination event this is still on character... I love Pyke and his whole theme. He should be in a game on his own exploring more of his past, while fighting all the crime bosses of Bilgewater.

The idea is pykes list keeps getting names added to it so him hoping shes at the end of the list is basically saying ill never have to kill you the list keeps getting longer.
I also liked that he said the braum will never be on his list) that was really wholesome, pyke was really quick to answer braum that he COULDN’T be on the list
Pyke really does seem like the Champ that gets the most development out of everyone. Not to say everyone else is bad, but you can see how Pyke goes from wanting to be left alone to do his killings, to actually opening up to people again and working with them. That and like what Danzan pointed out, Pyke does have some awareness about his list if he knows Braum will never appear on it (probably would call BS if it ever did). Also makes me wonder if names on Pyke's list could rearrange itself to showcase "this person needs to die immediately." Either way, Pyke really is a standout guy (just so as long as you're someone like Braum).
@@mas8705 In fairness if your someone at the top of his list you probably deserve it and if you're at the bottom you'll probably never meet him anyway.

@@mas8705 it's true, pretty much everyone in the game went through character development, but I have to say that Ahri and Illaoi were the ones who went through the most significant changes and development. Illaoi has found a new way of spreading the gospel of Nagakaburos and she is now trusting her instincts more rather than her goddess' guidance. Ahri found out a lot more about her people and has found a way to control her killer tencencies. The others are pretty much the same, except their attitudes emanate a lot of respect for the other champions and they are more open with each other, but that's essentially it. Still, character development is always great, no matter how big or small it is.

i feel this dialogue was Pyke conflicting whit the voices in his head telling him she is a Captain and thus deserves death and his moral sense after seeing her being a good person and Captain, but the voices always win.
Davy Jones: "You have a debt to pay. You've been captain of the Black Pearl for thirteen years. That was our agreement."
Jack: "Technically, I was only captain for two years, then I was viciously mutinied upon."
Davy Jones: "Then you were a poor captain, but a captain nonetheless! Have you not introduced yourself all these years as "Captain Jack Sparrow"?"

yeah, my OTP is Braum - Illaoi, Ahri - Yasuo and MF - Pyke. They are so cute together. Those dialogues make them more alive.

@@webdude15 It's not about gameplay it's about the overall story and writing. The Ruination event on PC had Bad writing, while the Wild Rift version simplified it down to the core of what was really needed for the event

I already liked Pyke in LoL as a cool sea revenant that kills people. But this game... this game made him one of the most interesting characters in Runeterra.

pykes list never ends he killed all his former shipcrewmates but the list grows even if he killes everyone on the list
Pyke's list is never ending. Whenever he thinks he's done the list grows longer. Part of it is due to his slipping sanity, but it's also related to how he was sent by the ocean as revenge against Bilgewater, so his list is less about his personal revenge and more about revenge for the ocean. This game has shown that the list is still partly based on his morals however, and isn't just "you are from Bilgewater so you die".
His list is endless, and as long as your a captain with some sins on your shoulders he’ll show up sooner or later

First Ahri then Miss Fortune. Why revise the characters to be much darker than their original design? To represent the underrepresented? Why compromise a character's original identity? Why not just create new characters that are darker skinned or use darker characters already in existence? I get that racial equity is an important issue but this seems too much of an artifical and forced way of going about it. It's like cooking a meat casserole and deciding to call it a birthday cake. If it's for your personal purpose, I couldn't care less, but if you are telling everyone else to accept it as a birthday cake?

I mean, their skins are somewhat darkened compared to the OG illustrations, but not by much and I will chalk up to the art direction of the game over the shit Twatter spills today.
And I have to say, Sarah's slightly darker skin tone compared to the original really makes her red hair pop off much more, but them again, OG Miss Fortune isn't topping many art contests alone.
