  • 2056 OP Robotics is absolutely incredible with their Charged Up Robot. Their entire build philosophy and process really shines as they enter playoffs as the #1 seed. Check out some cool custom gearing, championship additions and more on Behind the Bumpers.

I definitely wish we saw them on Einstein, but 1323 and 4414 definitely fought hard for that win.

Honestly a shame that they broke immediately in playoffs. My team was in archimedes so I’m glad we didn’t get steamrolled but them and 254 could have been so fun.

And they ended up picking the people that inspired the for the first alliance….
And then somehow got knocked out in the first two matches

It was crazy but still an incredible team.

@@FirstUpdatesNow yea, they were the alliance that I would’ve put the most money on. Thankfully I didn’t.
It still doesn’t surprise me that that hopper field won though, even though I was rooting for strike zone since I’m from michigan.

What swerve modules did they use? They do not say. I also would like to know more about how they used the limelight, does not appear to be for April tags.

they used the limelight to detect the reflective tape on the scoring junctions/poles. based on that information from the limelight, the robot would automatically line up with the junction so the driver just had to click a button to release the game piece.
