We have to remember we are only seeing the clips they want us to see, it does look like a really nice robot but it’s possible they don’t always actually make their shots
Most of it is in the back-right corner(the one that is closest to the camera at 0:39), with the motor controllers placed close to the motors. btw on our competition robot it looks much nicer than what is shown in the vid
It's basically a 4 stage cascading telescope made from thin walled pipes. Each stage has a sliding ring at the bottom of it to which 2 thin ropes (180 degrees apart) are tied, then the ropes go up the space between the pipes up to a small pulley at the top of each stage and are tied again to the cover of the previous stage. The bottom stage's ropes attach to constant force springs so the telescope is constantly wanting to extend, a separate rope is connected to the hook and led through 2 rings to the robot's center of gravity at the bottom where it redirects and winds on a winch. When we want to climb we simply uncoil the winch to let the telescope extend all the way up and recoil it when the hook is in place over the bar until we're up. An example of the operation with most of the details visible can be seen towards the end of the practice match we put up: th-cam.com/video/arw0oq-S1vE/w-d-xo.html
Thanks, just wondering if you used pulleys and string to power it or something else. We like to build a bot with 0 budget out of parts we already have for robot rewind and was seeing if your arm design would be easier to build than ours. We just used an arm(I forget what it's called) that unfolds as you spin the bottom join to get the hook up to the bar, same thing with the winch as yours, it worked pretty reliably besides the hook release.
Probably the best 2020 robot I’ve seen so far
Agreed
Have you seen 610's robot?????? :D
Gators destroyed my team
This robot could be way better if it had a turreted shooter
This is just our robot but better
The shooting accuracy is insane for a trench-run robot! Probably the best reveal I have seen so far.

@@zebteched they just won the ISR#2 district event, you can see their matches in the FRC TH-cam channel.
@@zebteched Nah bro they had the same accuracy at comps (i was lucky enough to witness it): th-cam.com/video/HXF2Ej1rVME/w-d-xo.html
I'm calling it now - Einstein at least, probably champions.
Technically Difficulties haha calm down buddy just a reveal video. Lot of marches to play against, they could face 254, 1323, or 118 out there
Brandon but they playing in St. Louis
Not this year, Israel is back to Houston they only got moved to Detroit last year because of a conflict with Passover
Also depends a lot on who’s on what field
welp looks like you were wrong lmao
The vision systems are insane! Great job!
That freaking feeder for the shooter. What the heck, it flaps down like damn
Wow. Freaking fantastic. I'm mesmerized by this
Well done. This is the best robot in my opinion. Have a great time at the competition.
This is a great robot.
Nice robot! From Team 3683 in Canada.
SKYZER I MISSED U
Who is skyzer
me too...
It bothers me that they were shooting into the red goal with blue bumpers on
That's the best shooter I've seen so far
that rotational feeding is so efficient dang
This robot is very good. Really good accuracy especially considering it's a trench run bot!
What a beast of a robot. This is amazing
Very impressive, good job!
nice
What a great feeder mechanism!
that's amazing. CHESTER is going to go first round in the NBA draft
This was the top one in recommended for you and all I can say is WOW!!

The coolest 2020 reveal aboutta win Chezy Champs B)
Awesome robot!!! I have a question, is there a positive benefit for the white LEDs directly below the green limelight?
nice job, same question^
The LED strips are for the driver, it tells him the current state of the robot based on the color of the LED's
עיצוב הרובוט שלך מדהים!
Looking through all these... where the hell did you hide the electronics?!?

I heard tales of your bot's accuracy... this is just scary though .-.
That robot is awesome! Good luck this year!
What sizes and type of tube did you use for the climber?
They are 2.5", 2", 1.5" and 1" 6061 aluminum tubes with 1/32" wall thickness
just passed skyzer in views! congrats!
Nice robot from the team 6896 in México

crazy movements
Why does your shooter have to retract?
So we would be able to pass under the control panel
yonag2003 I see, the movement is very robotic and cool.
