Great video. Is that a Dynon D10 in the panel? Ive never seen one of those in a glider. I have a D10A in my RV6 I have similar setup in my glider for vario/navigation.....Oudie driven by a Cambridge 302. Keep up the good work!
I choose to believe you died while doing what you loved the most. This video certainly proves it. It's better to live a short life that was worth living than one that's so boring that you don't even want to get out of bed and sleep through it all. Your family knows they have an angel up in the clouds watching over them.
Matt died in his glider in December 2016. It is beautiful sport, but it is always about stealing what nature do not want us to have and avoiding mistakes in doing that. Mistakes happen to everyone.
How ironic are the words of this song. RIP Matt, you and your videos are surely missed.
Truly talented pilot, started watching your videos last month, only to read about the accident a few years ago. Great pilot, RIP.
The lyrics of the soundtrack came so sadly true:"Everything that kills me, makes me feel alive!"
Balleka inspired me to glide at Benalla, Victoria. I'm more used to powered flight but what an experience. Itching to do it again.
I miss Balleka videos so much! RIP Matt
There is something so elegant about this... like watching a half pipe master... in the air. Thanks for sharing! GREAT STUFF!
Matt, you're missed.
Beautiful RIP Matt thanks for the inspiration. Love this vid still staying near the club can’t wait to try some ridge flying and XC.
