  • The best ice scraper I have found for a car. Scape-A-Round ice scraper. I have been using one of these for a few years now and they hold up great and the one I have in my hand is like three to fours years and still looks new. I would recommend scraper-a-round to anyone as a gift or for yourself.

Bought one of these cones and got snow and freezing rain last night. Can't wait to give it a try!😊

Alright, I'm convinced and just bought a 3 pack lol. Not the one that's linked because they're unavailable but it's the same as I ordered.

I like mine a lot i hope you like yours as well. Check yours out when you get it and see if the one end comes off. If it does it makes a great funnel for oil or for your radiator.

I find this doubtful at best. The reviewer has shown the easiest kind of thing to scrape. No heavy snow, the ice is in very small spots. I'll stick to my snow broom/scraper combo, thanks.

It does not replace a traditional brush scrapper, it's an extra tool. The brush is necessary because you need to clean your roof (by law) as well as your hood. Secondly if you or your wife aren't tall, you're not reaching the middle of window without humping the car.
So the question is really "Does the scrapping part really work that much better that's its worth buying as a secondary tool to be used alongside your brush?"
The surface is wider that your traditional brush/scrapper but that teeth scrapper part looks flimsy (never mind holding the tool by the large funnel part looks stunningly ackward) and is about the size of silver dollar.

Just so everyone knows I’m not selling these and i don’t get any kickback if you buy these. I can only tell you that I’ve used mine for several years and it seems to work fine for me. If you have thicker ice on your windshield then you may need to spray a deicer on your windows and then try scraping it. I have a video on how to make your own deicer, check that out. Thank you everyone for your comments.

All this cause someone had nothing else in their car, used an "Oil Funnel" thus, coming up with this (if you can call it clever) idea! it was a fluke lol !

I've seen the funnel trick before, presented as a life hack. Always wondered if it worked. Seems someone had the idea to redesign it a bit and market it as a scraper. Brilliant! Hope they got compensated fairly :)

I was wondering how long you had your car warming up on the inside in order to make the ice come off so easily? Because this thing does not work specially on the front.

I hadn’t started the car at all. I decided at the last minute to show the scraper and how it works. If you are having issues using it the ice on your car may be to thick. I made a video on how to make a liquid to dissolve the ice take a look at that. I personally have not had a issue with the scraper unless the ice is to thick then i use the spray to break it up. I wish you the best.

I bought several but have yet to use it. It seems like the knob on the top always falls off.

I’ve had that problem as well. If you don’t ever plan on using it as a funnel you could glue it on.

So even though you didn’t even show why it works, like the edge or close up action🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. Looks like I can just use any cones with a lip on it?

it wont work on windshields, the most important reason why youd ever want a scraper

    • @familyfuntipsandohiopenand7962
      @familyfuntipsandohiopenand7962  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I’ve never had an issue with mine and it’s seems to work better than a regular scraper for me at least. The only time i had an issue was when the ice was to thick. I’m not selling these so if you don’t like them and the regular scraper works better for you then that’s what i would stick with. I also have a video on how to make your own deicer which I’ve used to break up thicker ice on the windshield.
Thanks for your comment David, have a great day
