Bro I am an owner of an ola S1 pro and I think that it's better then ather 450x and i know that some features are useless such as music but all though i am using this scooter from last 5 months and it's giving me the consistent range of 120 to 137 km on one charging i really like it's seamless unlocking system.
Ather came to market earlier than Ola. I booked Ather and waited for One year , when I started chasing them for delivery they accepted their inability and refunded my money. In contrast I booked OLA S1 Pro after that and got delivery within 2 months at my door steps. I am getting normal range 120- 125 and no complain so far except there is no old man stands, ladies foot rest and bit worried about single suspension at the front.

I have enjoyed a lot of long leisure rides on my Ather 450X Series 1. Last week, I ordered Ola S1. I think for long leisure rides (Matheran, Alibaug, Pune, Lonavala), I would still prefer Ather because of their Fast Chargers. They help immensely. Once, OLA gets their fast chargers set up, I think Ather will find be a tough option.

@@Anshu2OO5 S1 and it hits 100 kms easily in normal mode. But for long leisure rides, nothing beats Ather for its fast chargers. Now they have a fast charger in Khopoli so the rides to Lonavala, Pawana lake are so much easier. No need to stop for hours in Khandala slow charging. 😊♥️

I have driven both and my preference would be OLA S1 anyday. In my opinion, Ather is really low and small as compared to Activa even. I was about to purchase ATHER but really glad and happy to be a part of OLA. Also, I believe your video was more inclined towards Ather cause you might be a regular user, do go for an honest review after riding properly. From the boot space till KM or riding experience I found OLA may more better. Also S1 Pro easily gives 140-150 km and S1 gives roughly 100. Please do correct that in your next one.
Actually to be honest the only difference i got to choose b/w ola and ather was quality when i rode ola one i wasn't satisfied with the quality and ola didn't even mention about the type of cell used in battery but to be honest ola has more range which makes most of the buyers to incline towards ola
I own an Ola S1 Pro. It gives me a range between 100-130km in normal conditions with just me riding 70-90km with a friend and our heavy college bags behind

As a owner Things to note & most common issues before buying Ather 450x 1. when you have fully charged the Ather 450x there is battery drain by 2-3km the next morning /day, Eg - If the bike is charged fully at 85km. It will be 82km the next morning. 2 This no companies will disclose in first place. 3.Motor belt gets dirty during rainy season which is headache due to no proper rear fender & belt covering. worst case belt noise. (600km completed) 4.front fender should have been reworked. again gets dirty easily. 5.range is 95 percent true as for eco mode which is 85km. daily commute with pillion 6.Interface do lag at times 7. If you want good range ride at 30km/hr it will go upto 110km 8. Charging socket cover of the bike is very flimsy. feels cheap. 9. If you are willing to travel 45/50km then carry charger along with you, as I wont recommend fast charging points it will affect battery for long run (although there is battery warranty)
Shivam, I am using Ather 450+ for almost 10months, I use to carry my charger earlier with the same feeling then I understood there fast chargers are not DC but AC so it will not degrade your battery that fast. I spoke with ppl who have ridden the old 450 from the time it was launched they ride daily about 100km and do fast charge daily and till date seen no degradation. There vehicle is nearing 50k KM
For belt noise visit service centre and they will adjust it. Even I faced it once when I took the scooter but now I am taking my scooter for 1st service with no issues. I agree the screen is a bit laggy when you try to load maps let’s wait and see if they optimise the OS
@@tushararora6837 I would say go with Ather for the ergonomic and riding dynamics with no fancy features. If your usage is very less and don’t need aggressive riding then choose icube, Chetak is out of the box it’s very slow to respond. Take test drive of all the scooters and then decide. Ather has few issues but it doesn’t affect your daily riding it’s basically related to esim network and maps not showing real time traffic updates also not allowing you to look further when you are in stand still traffic. Those can be resolved as it’s not affecting your riding experience. Ola I haven’t used will nor use as well due to its poor R&D, it’s just like rebadging a Chinese scooter. For our condition we need active cooling not passive cooling don’t fall for there marketing tactics.
I own Ola S1 Pro & it is one of the best EV we can get in the Indian Market, we get good range almost 150 km per full charge, cruise control, Music , navigation, what else do you need, It’s a bloody smartphone with wheels.
I am completed >3000 km in Ola S1 pro, some minor i faced but still it's really good product and compare to ather its value of money.. i feel ather is little over price otherwise both product are good. And both are made in india.
Dude i have ridden both. Ola might have some issues on software or hardware but its a much better scooter to ride. Much better i ride and handling. And another thing u say turning the ather sharply is a problem but u still prefer the ather handling is something i didnt understand. It seems you had already made up your mind before u came to a conclusion.
My friends owns both Ola And Ather In My Opinion OLA IS THE BEST .. It's Performance is addictive soo powerful very nice handling and more features and Range ❤️👍🏽
No Ola is better according to me I’m nt agree with u some perblom are there bt company is rectifying it and give us free door step service range I got 100 to 140 on normal riding and my weight around 95 kgs Build quality is awesome coz I had personal experience I met with an accident only Scratches Came use Ola regular for 15 day u will came to know everything

I would deifinetly prefer Ola S1 pro, though there are many negative fake reviews around the brand, but yesterday only I took test drive of both, trust me Ola is far far better in all ways compared to ather.

Nope It doesn't work like that In you run in hyper mode The cost in 1 km is near to 2 rs As the range reduces Compared to milege 50-60 In hyper mode In eco mode It gives 80-100 mileage

Strongly agree! 💯 Ather is like Dio - razor sharp, edgy, and cuts everywhere; the aesthetics which will appeal to college boys. But Ola - it is like Vespa. Smooth, Seamless, Transitional, Classic; the aesthetics which will appeal to true men of culture. Not to forget OLA outdoes Ather in almost every spec from Motor Power and Battery Capacity to top speed and range. 🏁 Also has larger bootspace and more features!
In my opinion we will spend 1.3L for a 2-wheeler electric only for its ride quality and distance it offers, so looking at basic necessity of scooters OLA is more preferable than Ather

Ather eco mode gives 85km in eco mode my ola gives around 165km. So my ola may be an unfinished product in terms of tech but it's wrong to counter it in range part🥴

Ather and Ola both are priced at 1.4L and Ather has a waiting period of 4 months whereas I got ola delivered to me in 2 days of ordering...and I regularly get 120 to 130 range on ola ..Ather 's 70km range is useless to me...
Ather has waiting bcos it's coming with new added features and booking is more for ather whereas ola no1 is ready to buy after what happened with ola in past and ola maintenance is more then ather
@@prashwin0917 it works and perfectly works.. i am using it since 7 month.. you should understand first when it activates.. to use regenerative braking system in ather battery should be bellow 80% and above 20%... I use it most of the time.. this also helps me to avoid skidding or down the speed without braking
On road price of ather in pune goes to 1.53 lakhs and Ola appx. 1.41 lakhs. I don't understand why Fame ll subsidy has been removed by the Central Government.
I have both and personally recommend Ather. reason for not recommending Ola 1. software issue in past-personally happened with me and by God grace saved from severe accident. 2. cant give it to my father and other old age person as its always a problem in handle lock/unlock via code. 3. Do not like the bump on the chasis 4. Dont like the handle position . I tired early as compared to Ather.

As on today Ather is more practical due to availability of service centers and showrooms. So for any complaints there will be some person to assisr. Ola is yet to gain speed and by then Ather shall puck up more momentum. I think Ather should reduce the price of 450x to beat the competition of Ola

Hi Team, I am an Ola S1 Pro owner since last 3 months would like to add and also contradict one of your statement that you only that a 100km range I drive daily 80 km (2 way one to office and 1 back to home) and it's been that I have received an average of 135 & even more some days post coming home I have approx 45 - 50km remaining depends on the traffic days also stability is good I did a test drive for approx 10 km each and wrap vs hyper(winner) Accept that the leg space Ola should have a flat and also double stand which is missing on accessories. So for me a true range is 135 to achieve that I would advice people to reboot the system while you charge your scooter. For me range and boot space matters so for me s1 pro is a winner as 90km range would not be useful for me. As people say electric vehicle are expensive make a calculation running daily 80 km makes a 2.2k km every month and running this for 2 years it would make my travel and scooter free 😜

Ather ka test rid eliya tha. Sab thik tha, but handle thoda turn karte hi ghutnon me lagti thi. Main chalaun to pillion ko discomfort hoga. Aur main koi zyada lamba bhi nahi hoon. Bas 181cm (5'11.5"). Ola mein ye problem nahi tha.

I have tested both the scooters, In ahmedabad, gujarat - Ather 450X on road costs 1.59 Lakhs including 20.5K subsidies by Govt. In my opinion the more Value for money is Ola S1 pro for the following reasons: 1. More mileage - 135kms on an average in city which is a no brainer itself but wait... 2. Great suspensions, infact - Ola s1 pro has much better seats and suspensions and ather struggles with bad roads. 3. RSA comes included with the on - road price i.e. 1.5 L but costs 1.39Lakhs after cutting subsidy and including extended warranty while with ather, you need to pay extra for RSA ( Road Side Assistance ). 4. Practically ola has bigger boot space, easy to use, a ton of features and substantially improving Support from the company. I personally have booked an Ola S1 pro ( liquid silver ) and I don't regret it. build quality is decent enough as well.
Built quality is not at all decent. It’s terrible. My brother has been using one and at first few months it was decent but after a year now it’s horrible. Panel gaps and noise are rampant. Colour and powder coating has faded on many parts of the scooter. Since the panels are fitted using clips, they don’t fix the same as factory fit once they have been opened 1 or 2 times. Body rattling is rampant.
I have OLA S1 pro... It is best electric scooter in tha market right now. Ather looks good too but there are some advantage in ola like it looks cool and easy to clean whereas Athher has less range and cleaning ather is pain in ass because of these panels. And ola has keyless feature you dont have to carry keys. OLA is beauty.

Ather eco mode gives 85km in eco mode my ola gives around 165km. So my ola may be an unfinished product in terms of tech but it's wrong to counter it in range part🥴

Ather has regenerative braking system, and its kind of first bike who introduced it which works between 80% to 20% battery range

I use it most of the time.. this also helps me to avoid skidding or down the speed without braking

On road price of ather in pune goes to 1.53 lakhs and Ola appx. 1.41 lakhs. I don't understand why Fame ll subsidy has been removed by the Central Government.

reason for not recommending Ola
1. software issue in past-personally happened with me and by God grace saved from severe accident.
2. cant give it to my father and other old age person as its always a problem in handle lock/unlock via code.
3. Do not like the bump on the chasis

As on today Ather is more practical due to availability of service centers and showrooms. So for any complaints there will be some person to assisr. Ola is yet to gain speed and by then Ather shall puck up more momentum. I think Ather should reduce the price of 450x to beat the competition of Ola

I am an Ola S1 Pro owner since last 3 months would like to add and also contradict one of your statement that you only that a 100km range I drive daily 80 km (2 way one to office and 1 back to home) and it's been that I have received an average of 135 & even more some days post coming home I have approx 45 - 50km remaining depends on the traffic days also stability is good I did a test drive for approx 10 km each and wrap vs hyper(winner) Accept that the leg space Ola should have a flat and also double stand which is missing on accessories.
So for me a true range is 135 to achieve that I would advice people to reboot the system while you charge your scooter.
For me range and boot space matters so for me s1 pro is a winner as 90km range would not be useful for me.
As people say electric vehicle are expensive make a calculation running daily 80 km makes a 2.2k km every month and running this for 2 years it would make my travel and scooter free 😜

Ather ka test rid eliya tha. Sab thik tha, but handle thoda turn karte hi ghutnon me lagti thi. Main chalaun to pillion ko discomfort hoga. Aur main koi zyada lamba bhi nahi hoon. Bas 181cm (5'11.5"). Ola mein ye problem nahi tha.

I have tested both the scooters, In ahmedabad, gujarat - Ather 450X on road costs 1.59 Lakhs including 20.5K subsidies by Govt. In my opinion the more Value for money is Ola S1 pro for the following reasons:
1. More mileage - 135kms on an average in city which is a no brainer itself but wait...
2. Great suspensions, infact - Ola s1 pro has much better seats and suspensions and ather struggles with bad roads.
3. RSA comes included with the on - road price i.e. 1.5 L but costs 1.39Lakhs after cutting subsidy and including extended warranty while with ather, you need to pay extra for RSA ( Road Side Assistance ).
4. Practically ola has bigger boot space, easy to use, a ton of features and substantially improving Support from the company.
I personally have booked an Ola S1 pro ( liquid silver ) and I don't regret it.
build quality is decent enough as well.
Built quality is not at all decent. It’s terrible. My brother has been using one and at first few months it was decent but after a year now it’s horrible. Panel gaps and noise are rampant. Colour and powder coating has faded on many parts of the scooter. Since the panels are fitted using clips, they don’t fix the same as factory fit once they have been opened 1 or 2 times. Body rattling is rampant.

I have OLA S1 pro... It is best electric scooter in tha market right now.
Ather looks good too but there are some advantage in ola like it looks cool and easy to clean whereas Athher has less range and cleaning ather is pain in ass because of these panels. And ola has keyless feature you dont have to carry keys.
