- Namaste, I recently did a Range test of India's Top 3 electric Scooters, Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube and Ather 450x. We did it very differently where we drove it possibly in all scenarios and instead of trying the best possible range, we focused on the practical possible range of all these EVs.

I have purchased the OLA scooter in month of May 2023 and by mid October scooter started malfunctioning. And when diagnosed, battery is faulty and needs replacement. It has been 21 days since the scooter is in Service for replacement of battery, Still no concrete answers from OLA SALES & SERVICE team. There are many more customers like me for some or other issued with the scooter and absolutely no customer service. OLA is only focussed on sales and probably they are getting the feedback from customers on ground and may be doing the R&D in their factory. Very pathetic situation in BHILAI. I would strongly request you all to look for other options. Please post and repost this, so that this reached to the deaf ears of OLA Management. Hope you will take notice of their service back up and take decision. VERY POOR SERVICE. ALL these promotions are paid by OLA.
New scam by @OlaElectri Customers has to pay the extended warranty within 1 year or else can't do that. My scooter was dead for 2 month and OLA didn't do nothing. Now they are calling and (hv cal rcding)if u didn't do it today (15, Dec, 2023) u can't do it anymore. It's 8499 INR.

One tip for Ather owners
Ride it in Sports mode at 40-50-60 range of speed. You'll get 105+ range for sure.

Yeah true my Gen3 consistently gives 120+ kms after a full charge if I ride in sports mode

With 100% Battery on my Ola S1 Pro i Clocked 105 KM at the Speed of 70-80Kms Per Hour on Highway with 15 % Battery remaining. Loved the Ride. Very Comfortable. ❤
Once the battery % drops below 20% in ola s1 pro, it will automatically switch to eco mode and max speed is 43km bro.

I am using ola S1 pro, in normal mode and below 50 to 55 km/h speed in 95% highways i am covering almost 96 to 98 km and still I am always left with 30% Battery percentage. My driving style is very gentle. I am happy with the range but the quality of the scooter could have been better as I have to be very concerned about it. Still its a good buy if the long term reliability is matched. I am hoping to clock more than 1 lakh kilometres without any battery replacement.
Hoping that OLA will work on battery optimisation and software management to make the scooter more efficient. 😂😂

I came to conclusions that icube will be best choice because, they'll provide support after they start selling here, nd it doesn't have so many features so easy to use (My father is going to use it mostly)

I am an Ather Owner and i drive always in Sports Mode and maintain 60kmph and below and sometimes whenever i find a empty stretch i pull it to 85kmph , i get 110kms everytime
Nice video I am a Ather owner and I feel that Ather is impressive machine with good acceleration, braking but comes with drastic fall in battery ( depending upon the riding mode)

TVS iQube is the most comfortable and overall an all round VFM package. The quality is top notch and it’s trustworthy company having a legacy and experience since years.
Don't buy Tvs Iqube.
I have purchased on March 2023. And now August 2023 i am facing motor shot issue in 5 month. I jave given service centre and they talk it takes 20 days to replace motor. Iqube is best electric scooter but after sale service is worst service. If you think to purchase please don't buy this scooter after sale service is totally worst.

I liked both tvs & ola but I bought ola coz of comfortable riding leg space is enough in ola . One thing I really liked about ola is u can overtake anything on highway on sports/hyper mode. I’m getting decent range of 120-130+ at speed of 45-50 kmph + i put on hyper mode also while overtaking only

Ather 450x has a top notch pick up,stability,breaking etc.. and ola s1pro or any other ev scooter till now cannot beat it.Its fun crusing 450x in traffic.

Bhai. Honda sp125 lena chahiye ya fir Honda shine 125cc. Lena chahiye ?? Aur disc brake lu ya drum break. Mera requirements ek aacha mileage wala bike hai. Under 1Lakh budget. Dusra bhi koi suggestion hoga toh please batao, With less maintenance !
Yup i tested my ola s1 pro with normal speed 50-59km/h for 45 km it only consumed 28% 72% left by this you can easily get 130 above range very easy

I have driven ola and tvs. One huge problem in ola is feel that you can not move your feet much because the scooter is thin and there is a pipe in the middle. So, after 2 hours of ride, it is difficult to ride in exact same position for long...
I have S1 pro, odo clocked almost 10k. Range is around 110km with the regular usages max speed upto 80 and 85 km runs with pillion rider.
Any battery degradation observed??

@@umraniadhruvu1073 not recently. Last year when the vehicle was new and software was unpredictable I did drain it twice. I think as of now software is intelligent to calibrate it

one of my friend have Pure EV,, company claims 110 KM but it only Runs 80 km but the catch is, for last 15-20 km you can drive it on 5-10KMPH

I have driven ather on eco and ride mode and at constantly above 50-60kmph on highway. Belive me, after continuous 78kms ride it was left with 15% charge and 17 kms range.

maine ola s1 pro 3500 km chalaya hai abhe tak. ek cheez jo notice ki qoh yeh hai, ki aap jitna regen jyada use karte hai traffic mien, utna jaldi heatup hota hai. toh agar aap sports mode mien kam regen use karenge toh jyada der tak sports mien chala sakte hai without heating

Chalana aana chahiye if u would have use cruise control in highway u could have got 110km of range for sure.
Ather is useless in terms of range 1,65000 leke 78km ki range ekdum bakwas.
TVs is much more settle and nice scooter.

Mera bhi man ola lene ka kr raha hai... But heat management ka issue hai na jisake karan eco mode me chalta hai Achanak.... Aur bahut negative comments bhi ate hai. To confused hu ola lu ki nahi
@@hpvidemy brother is on 27000km on Ola s1 pro it depends on the way you use. The heat management is when you use high mode a lot then the scooter will automatically will go down to normal mode saying please wait till the heat is regulated its very good because in the outdoor heat and the motor heat you will be putting a lot of pressure over the motor that will lead to disasters easily and the other hand we almost Driven the Ola s1pro for 40km on normal and hyper mode on Highway we got 30% drop ( we were double seated with total weight 63+75 on scooter. Including the Up slopes and straight roads of city and highway

@@hpvide the design has no issues it's a electric motor and it has batteries so obviously it will heat and + the heat from the environment and Roads. The design is very practical and just loves the Storage Space it offers

I think this has been injustice for Ather, as the scooter had been driven in ride mode initially whereas others were in basic normal mode. Had Ather been driven in eco mode the scooter could have definitely clocked 105 km. For me Ather is the winner in resoect of range and pickup in base mode. I am riding it for 6 months now and i can claim it from my experience. In Ather it gives speed of 55-60 in eco mode. So you should have driven it in eco mode for the first 50 km
Every scooter here was driven in normal mode...they why Ather should be driven in Eco mode...?
Ride mode in Ather is normal mode...if other scooters were driven in Eco mode from the start...then they will also clock more KMs than Ather...!
So finally which scooter would you suggest me I would like to go for ather 450x or Ola s1 pro

Yes I have an Ather. It's ride mood is so fast and better than iqube and ola. If u were test in its eco mood. It would be around 100 km

If you're looking for family uses, hastle free service, spare parts definitely go for the tvs
TVS is for 99% people, Ather for Bangalore and Hyderabad, Ola for show off and emotional trauma.

my ola s1 gives me 80-90 kilometers of range in normal mode when i drive it at 50-70 kmph in highway and 95-105 km in city at around the same speed(40-60kmph). by the way i have driven the scooter for almost 8000kms, and have not yet serviced the scooter yet. i am not disappointed with the scooter in any manner, but yeah it glitches once in a while about once in a month, which is minor and doesnt bother me much. overall satisfied with the scooter :)

@@atiquetajir6225 u don't understand modes of ather. It doesn't matter in which mode u drive. U can get better range in sports and warp mode also. All u have to do is keep your speed in between 40-60 and no sudden acceleration that's it. And 105 is claimed range by company, u will get that minimum. ARAI range is 146. Many times I ride 120km on highway and still 8-9% battery left. Utne me aur 8-10km to chal hi jaayegi. City me 105+ deti he sports mode me

I also bought ola considering its features in the price range they are offering. It has been more than 500km and i like the sports and hyper mode as it beats my FZ as well.
Only concern and feedback i wanted from this chat section is i am frequently getting vehicle locked or screen hanging issue even within every week or so.
Anybody facing the issue if yes, any solution for the same?
Don't use the mobile app to lock and unlock. I am using only the code method to unlock it. And rebooting once or twice in a week will be helpful

reboot the vehicle every 10-15 days for glitch free ola.. just make sure it has 30% minimum battery and hold the power and reverse button for 10 secs....

OLA S1 have a real range of 60-70 KMS on an average daily run. The good thing about OLA S1 it can still run ~25 KMs at 15% remaining battery

Don't focus only on range, think about build quality, riding comfortable especially in traffic, handling and braking

@@GaganChoudhary My ola scooter got a rat bite in April after calling them they kept forcing to buy ola plus subscription which is of 3500rs else i will have to pay 650rs per visit for inspection. I bought the subscription to see they give priority support as promised but after buying i got no response. I tweeted and called everyday then after 15days one from ola visited my home (which is just 2kms away from ola service) in dehradun. He told me its a rat bite so claim insurance and we will pickup. He just gave me another person's number and went. I kept calling that person but he hardly pics the call. After 5days he said send me all details/documents and i will tell you. Then again he got silent for a week. Then i tweeted again everyday so then he called and just kept me different loops and always asking different questions or concerns. After 40days finally he arranged a RSA and picked my scooter and then OLA RSA took my scooter from dehradun to chandigarh for service. Now i got no response even my scooter got received in chandigarh or not what they are doing with it. I dont know. No updates.... And no response its a day 55 now

I only told him your driver said he will go to Chandigarh but he was assigned for Dehradun. What a blunder. They have no clue what they have to do or doing.
