This was fantastic! I am so happy 😊 you are sticking around with us. Please keep on waffling on with us. You are the only YT channel that I watch that does any woodworking. I have LOVED 😍 all of your videos, such a menagerie of things. Merry Christmas to all
Fantastic snow globe!!! Nick just caught up with your last few vids...just wanted to let you know I'd watch you let paint dry. You brighten my day & lighten my spirits by just being you. Merry Christmas to you & your family!! 🎄. Can't wait to see what you will be up to next.....
See now aren't you glad you didn't quit look at all these great ideas you've come up since your announcement awesome and Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night
Merry Christmas Nick! Have a fabulous time. Thank you, also, for sticking around on TH-cam and brightening our days. Long may that continue. The snowglobes rock btw 👌👏🎄🎅
Very nice. I made a snow globe last year for my parents from a mason jar. I took a picture of their old house, laminated it, and mod podged on the inside of the jar. Then I took pictures of their dogs, cut them out, laminated them, and stuck them inside the jar with fake snow and glitter. They loved it. It was a super easy craft with a pretty big sentimental payout.
I have a friend that had a sunset orange el camino that she has to sell. I bought a Hot Wheels el camino and painted it the same color and poured in orange glitter and she still has the snow globe all these years. They are fun to make.
I love this so much! I really hope you start making lots more little quick videos like this along with your other videos. It's really nice to be able to watch a quick video from you when I only have a few minutes instead of feeling like I can't watch your videos unless I have a lot of time that I can spend.
Thanks. Did know you could DIY a snow globe. I don’t think you have ever made a video I didn’t enjoy. I always look forward to your posting new videos or revisiting some older ones. Thank you for sticking with us. Wishing you a happy New Year 2023.
Love it! So so cute! I've had one of those plastic do it yourself snow globe things for years, but have never gotten around to making anything with it yet. It really wouldn't be the same without one of your Christmas projects 💙🎄. Have a very blessed and happy Christmas, Nick!
Hi Nick, love that you are still entertaining us, I have been looking for something to do with my grandchildren when they come over for Xmas and this is bloody genius. btw have you ever made a bowl from a bowling ball? If not I would love to see it done. Merry Xmas Nick 👍
Happy Christmas to you and your lovely family. We are glad you are here. Please keep entertaining us with your wonderful wit. Keep waffling on and we will keep enjoying it.
OMG! I just picked up a little snow-globe like the round one 2 days ago, and am looking for just the right thing to go inside. I LOVE your little house with the tree! I have a little white house with black shudders and now I hope to find a tiny one like yours!! I love to "hang with you" as I let go of all of the *noise* of the day. Thank You so much, Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year, to you and your family! xo
I have made one with so much black glitter, that maleficent disappeared completely when you shook it, and then it looked like she revealed herself from out of the shadows when it settled. It was really cool. Much like these. Happy holidays!
This is AWESOME! With the kids out of school for the Holidays, this would be a great, inexpensive, and fun project to keep them busy with something to do besides sit in front of the TV or video games. I LOVE THIS! Merry Christmas to you and yours, sending love from Texas!
Love them, Nick! But you're meant to glue your bits and bobs onto the stopper part of the one you got from the hobby shop (that you put the trolls in) so it seals the globe and won't leak as easily. That was the part you had to sort of pry out at the 1:30 mark.
I've used I think baby oil or canola oil, something, to create a sensory bedtime bottle. Nothing has leaked out yet the bottle is caving in on itself after 3yrs. The glittery colors still look amazing, so I should try it out by doing a snowglobe instead. I think maybe we should spray on acrylic glaze tho to protect painted wooden items.
You can use clear Elmer's glue rather than oil or glycerin and I would definitely recommend using plastic or resin decorations that will hold up under water.
Really happy you are sticking around, you are the reason a got a shed and started making and restoring things. It’s been the best thing for stress, depression and anxiety and that down to you so thank you. Also can’t wait for makers central I will be there no matter what. Merry Christmas Nick👍
Great little project. Somehow this is totally new to me as well. It’s the perfect idea to do with the kids next week when school is out and the family is together.
I would just add fully submersible fairy lights (including the battery pack) which comes with a single remote control but that that allows you turn on & off light as many light sets as you have all at once. WOW!!!
Wow. I never thought making a snow globe could be so easy. I'm especially fond of the branch used as a tree. 🎄Merry Christmas 🎄,and may the coming 🥳 New Year 🎉 bring you and yours happiness, inspiration, and new-found friends.
Thank you for your warm and happy Christmas greetings. And for the lovely idea. The architect in me thought of making simple models of friend's and family's homes for snow globe presents.
We made snow globes in high school pottery class. Used baby food jars for our "globe", sculptured figures from clay. Made mine for my mom, she still puts it out every year.
Just proof that you don't have to stick with wood and resin to make great content ! Its not the material that we love,,, its you! Keep it up Nick!!! We all love you!
I love it, happy Christmas to you and yours Nick. We made some in class last year but found our water turned a blueish colour as the dye came off of the green trees.
I'm so happy to still see you. We will take what we can get. We love you and hope to still see you on Friday's. Awesome project as usual. Take care my friend❤
thanks for all you videos - for some reason I had not been seeing them - but came across you the other day - and now get regular videos - thanks for sharing you passion and talents -
Snow globes are always fun. I've got one made from a kit years ago- the water's been slowly evaporating out of it, so now it's about half empty/half full. I could probably re-fill it if I wanted, but that seems a bit past the point for me.
This was fantastic! I am so happy 😊 you are sticking around with us. Please keep on waffling on with us. You are the only YT channel that I watch that does any woodworking. I have LOVED 😍 all of your videos, such a menagerie of things. Merry Christmas to all
And no lathe required!
And bubbly bubbly - No Resin!

Very cool Nick I love it! And it's a craft we can all try to partake in! What fun 😁👍
The only thing that I need to know is how much vegetable glycerin and where did You find it Nick?
See now aren't you glad you didn't quit look at all these great ideas you've come up since your announcement awesome and Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night
Such a cute and festive project. Easy enough for everyone and has great potential for more advanced artists to be super creative!
Merry Christmas Nick! Have a fabulous time. Thank you, also, for sticking around on TH-cam and brightening our days. Long may that continue. The snowglobes rock btw 👌👏🎄🎅
What is the best glue for items wont fall out
What a cute little video. Perfect for Christmas crafts with the whole family. Merry Christmas!

I have a friend that had a sunset orange el camino that she has to sell. I bought a Hot Wheels el camino and painted it the same color and poured in orange glitter and she still has the snow globe all these years. They are fun to make.
Wow! I love the tree in there. So cool and easy to do. Thanks Nick.
So that's what you need to mix in the water to make the snow float around. Thanks for that Nik
I love this so much! I really hope you start making lots more little quick videos like this along with your other videos. It's really nice to be able to watch a quick video from you when I only have a few minutes instead of feeling like I can't watch your videos unless I have a lot of time that I can spend.
But it's time oh, so well spent!

Yes he definitely missed that step. Plus the ornament will sit up high enough above the neck to see.

I've done those with my daughters for years. They were fun to do!!
