And now we get a second break, but it's not the summer break. But in F1 things have a way of changing after a break. For all we know we'll come back and it'll be Max winning everything again and saying "Eh what the fuck, I was bored".

Why, as an Aussie, did I have to stay up to stupid o'clock to watch a parade in what should be a timezone friendly hour on the planet. That race was awful and I don't care how DTS or it's fans try to spin it. I just ended up hating Indycar for having such a short season.

I watched it at a normal hour here in Europe. It was awful, God damn F1 is still boring.
Doesn't matter how many race winners you have if the racing product is boring as hell.
DTS fans just think that more winners = better racing, forgetting that your favourite driver winning by 20+ seconds isn't good racing.
Surprised you didn't pick up on some sus commentary during the race. Crofty praising Piastri for leap frogging the Mercs with his pit strategy, when he came out behind. Colapinto went off trying to pass an Alpine, and then on the following replay on the next lap at the end of the first DRS straight got past an Alpine. Martin said that would be a definite penalty for gaining an advantage. Huh. Thinking Yuki is wanting a pit stop, when he is wanting the team to orchestrate a swap with Ricciardo.
The advantage of watching the highlights with Alex Jacques, Jolyon Palmer and David Coulthard commentating. It's brilliant! And the majority of the boring bits get cut out 😅.
Damn, I didn't even know Mosely was dead. Cancer is a hell of a disease. I've seen it eat a lot of people alive until they died. I guess Max did too. Rest in peace, you crazy bastard. You and Bernie sure made F1 interesting.

@@nocturnemusique IIRC it was close to the end. Much as I will always be grateful to him for his safety work, I thought he was a slimy bastard, tbh. Having said that, I never wished ill on him and certainly not such a horrible way to go. I was very upset when I learned about his death.
My mother died of cancer too, so it's not something I think anyone should ever get.

Yeah, that was hard to watch Danny's exit interviews but I don't see him jetting off down under for good. There's still some fun to have if he hangs out in America for a bit, someone will have him trying out all kinds of seats. Then we'll get some BBQ and mom's secret mashed potatoes in him and he's hooked! Can you imagine the crowds in the US how wild they'd go over him? We could have a lot of fun in racing with Danny over hear for a couple years. he can drive, that's not a problem and we have all kinds of shit to race because we find a way to race anything.

I'd love to see yuki move up to red bull, and lawson get yuki's seat at RB. Daniel will have some more time, lawson can get used to the seat for next year and yuki has a chance at the main team. Oh and papa perez won't have heart attacks anymore.

There's also Issac Hadjar to consider as well. Pretty sure he's going to win F2 this year, and if he's not in a "VCARB" then he's also sitting out all of next year.
