One thing with turbo engines is to stay on top of the oil changes and preventative maintenance. With the capless systems it is also important to wait 5 seconds before pulling the nozzle out when filling up, and even more important, don't "top it up" as this can damage the evap system, and the fill system. Yep right from the best book never read - the owner's manual lol.

This should be mandatory viewing for anyone purchasing a Bronco Sport before you get to your dealer for delivery. It will make life easier for you and your sales people to come prepared. It's a lot easier to understand and learn all the screen options and settings, rather than trying to gain this information from the downloaded Owners Manual.
I plan on viewing this again, in its entirety, before delivery of my 2024 Badlands.

Glad the video prepped you for the new ride! When is your dealer saying you should be able to expect it?

No idea. Don't know when factory changes over to building 2024s. I probably have months to wait yet.

Change over should be happening soon because the 2024 order banks are open. Think the 2023's started hitting lots around November last year so there's a chance you might have it before end of year

Great detail ford bronco sport review yet thank you. The only thing i wished more for is you laying down in the back with seats down to see what it is like for a 6ft person to sleep in. The measurements were a nice touch as well! At any rate thank you again! 🙏

You're welcome! Great idea on adding laying down into videos. I've done that randomly is some.. but I think it's a great idea to add it into other videos too. It's only 65" behind the 1st row so you'd need to do a bit of a fetal position

I also am liking that Ford's are commonizing the steering wheel controls.

Consistency is great and the next gen vehicles (2024 Mustang/Ranger) bring a slightly different look with close to the same layout!

Steve thanks for a great video, you made choosing our new vehicle easy. 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands! Even purchased it at Formula Ford which was a no brainer as they have been our dealer for the past ten years with our explorer. Now the hard part waiting the 3 weeks until delivery.

Haha, small world and exciting about the new ride too! Bit of a change from the Explorer but I'm sure you'll have a blast in it. Any plans for taking it offroad?

I like the sport a lot, I'm gonna be in the market for a new car next fall and I'm hoping for 2024 they will have wireless carplay. That's my only must have that it doesn't have. I'm too lazy to pull my phone out of my pocket and plug it in.

I don't see wireless CarPlay coming that soon but hopefully that's not a complete deal breaker for you!

Is there a way to remote start the heated mirrors and defrost?

    • @CarsWithSteve

Only thing I can think of trying is to have your defroster turned on before you turn the car off for the night and then remote start from there. It works in the Jeep world but haven't tried that in Fords yet
