@@evergladesrhythm Dude where in the "F" have you been all my life. You are bad ass, glad I found you, now I can unsubscribe all these wannabe guitar teachers.
Wow! Ive been mapping out the five pentatonic boxes for about a year (after playing the guitar for over 30 years) learning the full major and pentatonic and triads but this is just gold for putting all that together!!! My goal is to be able to do those long runs up n down the fretboard like zeppelins since ive been loving you live version.. its been a lofty seemingly unattainable goal (in this life, to that 14 yr old gobsmacked teen) but this gives me hope!!! Im not Jimmy and not trying to be, i just want to be able to express that feeling that nothing else but guitar can. I love how you put this in a way that shows us where the road is but we have to walk it. Find all those tweeks that express what were here too! Great channel and great lesson well taught.. please keep up the great work!!! Thank you 🙏🕊️
I just want to say THANK YOU "Again!" I keep coming back to this lesson and picturing those pentatonic boxes as I'm going through what you're explaining here.. this is absolute magic! If there's anything you can add onto here that'd be cool too but sincerely this has helped me take a huge step in seeing runs in those boxes that's just sooooo good 👍 Thanks again! 🙏🕊️✨@@evergladesrhythm
Liked and subscribed. I’ve been playing for over five decades mostly by ear and never learned scales. I’m digging in before I croak and I’m out of guitar intermediate prison in the past six months. Very therapeutic. . I played out all over the globe and never learned how USE THE FRETBOARD DIAGONALLY. THX IM ON FIRE NOW AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS.
i think i have it now ..E 3,6, A3,5 D3,5,8 G 5,7 B is 6,8,11 and E 8,10? and then opposite back.. do i have it right then. only mine doesnt sound like anything yet.. is the one next to that.. E 6,8 A 5,8, D 5,8,10, G 7,10, B 8,10, E 8,11??? (this one i doubt if its good the other i think i got right because the picture i used upside down)
By a show of hands, how many people, like me, had to lower the playback speed to 25% in order to "even try" to follow his riffs. I'm doubt that anyone who can play those riffs even needs this lesson. But for those that do it would be nice to have some tab to illustrate even just a small sample of the riffs he is playing. I've got the scale pattern written down, again, by lowering the playback speed, but I don't know if I'll ever be able to learn (or hear) his example riffs.
@@evergladesrhythm you just play so fast. You did post illustrations of the scale which were very helpful. I just can’t decipher your licks. Even just one or two tab illustrations would be great. Thanks so much. It was a very helpful way to further get a grip on the mysteries of playing the guitar
very good, thank you. Love thought process - if you can connect your thoughts you can connect your notes.
Good point.

Hi Mark
I'll try and post tabs in the community when I can. Its so handy to have that slow down feature on youtube!
