my issue wasnt with the mirror, it was with the aperture lever! take a picture in manual mode with the lens off, and make sure the metal lever moves all the way when you take a photo. it was getting stuck, so i gave it a firm yet gentle wiggle until it moved freely within its boundaries. i actually thought it wouldnt move at all unless a photo was being taken because it was stuck so bad. be careful as it is the inside of your camera! this fixed my nikon d3400 camera :D

Hi Edgar. Do u have same issue as mine?if yes, U can try to push the mirror to the left side a little harder if it still stuck while pushing it. At the same time, lift the mirror slowly but not to hard ya😊.

i have the same error display and i removed the lens and look for the shutter glass, it is not stock and free to move but why i keep getting that error message every time i want to take the picture?
I give up! I’ve tried for 2 hours straight after this and several other videos and no luck! Same error message over and over. How can Nikon allow this to happen potentially setting back buyers hundreds of dollars for ridiculous repairs with something that is so trivial.

Why battery also down same time
make sure u take out the battery when u are not using it..because it will reduce your battery power.😊
