Simple trick with my experience. Cover the lense, and setup to standard for flash. Press the shutter and it will work. I was worried the whole morning and accidentally I press the shutter and it worked
This trick works! I have not used my camera in years and today took it out of the bag, never dropped it, charged the battery and started shooting some pictures and it gave me this error. Found this video and tried the trick multiple times until it worked. It flashes the error again but if I press the shutter it shoots the pic and goes back to normal. Thank you so much 🙏

Hay que perderle un poco de miedo al bajar la ventanilla superior con el dedo (yo usé guantes de latex) al ir apretando el disparador hay que recargarla hasta tope (de manera firme, NO BRUSCA) e ir bajando firmemente en cada disparo. Poco a poco irá destrabandose o bajando completamente. Lo logré como con 8 a 10 disparos. Gracias por el vídeo. 🍻
@@RicardoconJesusyMaria AL parecer si, es un error de equipo, con el tiempo pasa. Aunque me servía para fotos, para vídeo ya no, pues al pasar la ventanilla a modo grabación, volvía a trabar. Así que leí que resulta más caro arreglar ese detalle. Se decidió a invertir en otro equipo canon R50.

Seems the servo that switches from objetive view to digital screen view had turned lazy without enough strenght. But ommiting this funtion the camera still operates and shuts in reflex mode. Anyway, am some disheartened but this video helped me, thanks.

Just tried it on a d3100. Add gentle force enough that when the motor activates the shutter will move.
