This trick works! I have not used my camera in years and today took it out of the bag, never dropped it, charged the battery and started shooting some pictures and it gave me this error. Found this video and tried the trick multiple times until it worked. It flashes the error again but if I press the shutter it shoots the pic and goes back to normal. Thank you so much 🙏

Seems the servo that switches from objetive view to digital screen view had turned lazy without enough strenght. But ommiting this funtion the camera still operates and shuts in reflex mode. Anyway, am some disheartened but this video helped me, thanks.
i did this with my D3200 and it looks like it broke. now, that thing with the lens that looks like a disk is not going back or like sticking to how it was before
