I love that you engaged with them like you do with anyone else! You had genuine curiosity and appreciation for people who are often ridiculed. You gave them a voice and the audience cheered them on in part bc of you!
absolutely love how you can manage to poke fun at people without just hurting them under the guise of comedy. one of the best crowdwork comedians i know, keep it up gian love your stuff!
what started as crying laughing became legit tearing up bc it's so refreshing to see a comedian that can be so funny on the fly about something so niche and relatively eccentric without resorting to derogatory barbs for a cheap laugh. i've been watching gs videos for a couple months whenever the pop up, but i'll definitely be following now!
Big respect for you actually sitting down and engaging instead of immediately going to the mockery. Furries are like any fandom, though...if you're curious about something, ask. Ask from a place of curiosity instead of judgement, and honestly no one should have a problem answering them. For example, Kaito's been an original character (OC) I developed over the course of around a decade. Hybrid's are always fun to design, since you're often deciding on WHAT species to use based on what that species is known for. Lots of people make canine OCs because dogs are known for being loyal...kind...good-hearted. Similarly, cats are known to be independent and strong-willed. It's a fun deep-dive once you start looking, but we mostly understand if it weirds people out. XD
Just watched his video interviewing that one person who fell into the right-wing pipeline from Star Wars and you making a joke about them becoming a furry and this being recommended next 😂
It's crazy how far we've come where the crowd in Texas presumably didn't give the furries any trouble before the show started 🙏 hope they're doing alright!
Not everything is furry fandom is about sex (we do have a lot adult furry art and some adults do film themselves ) but 100% most important fact is that furries are around the world and love seeing furry characters in movies, tv shows, books, anime etc.. and creating their own fursona.
I love a goodnatured furry joke. Gianmarco has such a comfortable way of joking with his audience. As someone with autism, the idea of furries is something I really like. I am not a big fan of hugs (I hate the feeling of someone else’s hair brushing against my neck.) but I do crave physical contact in a way I find difficult to describe. I don’t think I’d mind hugging someone if I was wearing a fursuit. I actually might like it. I want to save up to make my own fursuit but I have no idea how to really go about creating a fursona or finding other furries. Can we furry in the comments please give me some advice?
furry here! there are huge furry communities on pretty much every social media, to start with i recommend following artists you like and interacting with their work and commissioning them to design you a sona! some artists also have existing templates you can buy for a little cheaper if you’d prefer. the quickest way to get a suit is to commission or buy an existing suit from a suit maker, most full suits are pretty expensive but you can get partials to start with or save up, theres also plenty of tutorials on youtube for how to make them yourself! like any craft results come with practice. as for irl community there are so many anthrocons happening all over id recommend finding one close to u and just chatting with people at stalls or panels, its a really great way to meet other people in the community! best of luck ^-^
@@socialtomcat seems hot. how do you mitigate body heat? I mean, I know about cooling vests but if you're just starting out or DIY'ing is there a cheaper alternative? It adds up real quick!
All that is good advice, but I wanna add something. Take it or leave it, but a big part of the fandom is that it’s a scenius of a bunch of really cool and creative anthro characters; people’s ideas build on top of each other. It’d be kind of a shame if you just commissioned a fursona instead of designing one for yourself. Even if all you can do is write about and describe them, that’s a much better path imo than going straight to someone else.
@@trippingthelight A cooling vest is really, really cheap compared to the suit. Like, the head alone usually starts at a few hundred bucks in material cost. But nothing substitutes just taking a break every hour or two.
LOVE all of this. i do want to point out that plenty of furries don't do it as a sex thing lol. there's actually a big asexual community within it. but good on them for doing what makes them happy! (and money, I'm sure!) i just don't want people to think by going out in public they're exposing people to their kink or something
4:57 so relatable, my first fursuit head I made was so tight I had to re-cut and stitch it to BREATHE Once you dawn the mask there is no going back- ONE OF US ONE OF US
Just yesterday my brother and I were listening to a comedy podcast and they spent a good ten minutes acting all shocked and appalled at the existence of furries, so this was a nice pallet cleanser. You're honestly one of the best at crowd work I've ever seen and a part of that is definitely that you know the difference between making fun and punching down.
At 2:40 you definitely could have built off of "plug". I don't want to think about it any more than I have to, but I swear the punchline is there somewhere.
I think the only thing that could have made this funnier is if he started using the head like a ventriloquist's dummy. "So, is it hard being a furry?" Head: "It's always a little hard in the morning rolling the Prozac up into a slice of cheese."
As a bit of a furry myself, i love seeing it discussed in a way that isnt negative or shitty. Its super common to just mock the community without ever trying to at least understand, so its nice to see this.
It’s a little wild to me that the furries there still used furry/internet lingo like this guy is as terminally online as the rest of us, if you gotta ask a non-furry for no animal sex jokes you gotta say “no beastiality jokes” with your whole chest or they won’t get what you’re saying
@@GianmarcoSoresi You probably could get into contact with one of the conventions the most recent one I attended was Megaplex in Orlando, FL, one I know that a lot of people attend is Midwest Fur Fest, it's held in Rosemont, IL, but there's plenty of them all around the country, the biggest one being Anthrocon in Pittsburgh, PA having had almost 18k attendees at AC 2024 I hope to see you perform at a convention!
It’s IT/Tech jobs generally. The career path allows for them time to learn about crafting and early community adoption of message boards to get it done. Well, or have enough disposable income to get a professional one made. If you have a Red Robin around, ask if they still have someone in costume for kids night/media promotion to talk with. It was a big part of their community engagement a decade ago to use that red bird suit.
It's partially due to the "Survivorship Bias." The most visual parts of the furry fandom are the art pieces and suits, both of which are purchased by wealthy furries, therefore making all the furries you *see* be the rich ones. You don't see non-rich furries because they *can't* flaunt their wealth. It's the same reason youtube comments collectively seem to be negative: the people who *aren't* negative don't have a reason to comment.
@@BeerPatio Besides IT jobs, I've heard of a large number of the wealthier ones being doctors or some other high pay but high stress job. Having a fursona could be a way of destressing and getting to be someone else (in a way) for awhile to escape the stress of work life.
@@alexhook9151Game devs, doctors, IT/Tech, Pilots, Scientists, the list goes on. Having a fun character to write about or make is definitely a nice de-stresser as well as being able to take a step into fantasy a little. While at home or online just walk out of reality for a bit and hang with friends.
Just a follow up to the previous clip regarding the NB individual. I can confirm, none of these are them. Sorry that this isn't a lore progression (yet).
If I recall correctly, I think I saw Sky at the Texas Fur Fiesta in March earlier this year. We played a game of Commander(Magic: the Gathering) together.
Finally! I was starting to wonder if maybe they asked you not to have them in a clip since I saw y’all talking after the show. We had so much fun that night.
This was a great way to talk with furries without treating them like they are lesser. Most of my friends are furries (no clue how that happened, but i know there is a lot of overlap with LGBT/neurodivergent people and furries) and i love them all. One thing to know is thag its not inherently sexual! Of course it can be, as is true with any interest people have. But a lot of the times i see them showing off their fursonas and its very wholesome and cute. What i personally noticed (and cannot confirm if it is true or not) is that furries often seem to have childhood traumas or tough childhoods. The furry community may be a way to get back that childhood that they lost.
I really hope this becomes viral lol!!! Will you be receiving furry fanart of yourself in the future gianmarco? Hahah Also, Those furry masks were pretty well made! Im surprised the guy tossed it at you! Id be worried it would break or something!

Id love to say I would never expect Gianmarco to wear a fursuit head on stage, but if any comedian was gonna do it
Gianmarco: "This better not awaken anything in me...."
i love when comedians take the room through a spirit journey of someone else's life
what started as crying laughing became legit tearing up bc it's so refreshing to see a comedian that can be so funny on the fly about something so niche and relatively eccentric without resorting to derogatory barbs for a cheap laugh. i've been watching gs videos for a couple months whenever the pop up, but i'll definitely be following now!
TSA has seen so many suit heads lmao
This is such a fantastic mix of comedy, curiosity, and acceptance.
A furry that had a smoking problem 😹😭
also commenting to increase engagement. furry gianmarco content is so fucking funny dude
I love how respectful he was for like a solid two minutes making sure they were okay w it and giving them time to back out
I'm... familiar with Skye's work.
Edit: No, I won't tell you where.
@@apollofell3925 would you mind sharing links to his... work?

My first night managing a bar in Plano was also a giant swingers party. Figured it wasn’t too far away til we got the furry crowd.
@@socialtomcat thank you ☺️ I really appreciate it.
But nothing substitutes just taking a break every hour or two.
not me watching this when i have to go through airport screenings in a few hours
cool to learn about all this while laughing
I love how open this man is to his audiences.
As a furry I appreciate how respectful you were!! This was really heartening to watch ❤ and hilarious ofc
I love that the crowd went “ohHOHO” in perfect unison when he Skye mentioned filming
Well this wasn’t what I was expecting to see this morning! Absolutely love it haha
LOVE all of this. i do want to point out that plenty of furries don't do it as a sex thing lol. there's actually a big asexual community within it. but good on them for doing what makes them happy! (and money, I'm sure!) i just don't want people to think by going out in public they're exposing people to their kink or something
4:57 so relatable, my first fursuit head I made was so tight I had to re-cut and stitch it to BREATHE
Once you dawn the mask there is no going back- ONE OF US ONE OF US
Don*
2:12 the way all their heads went down at the same time in the same way is so funny 🤣 and lowkey kinda precious 😂
You're a gem lol. These are precious moments
This was actually incredibly well done! How wholesome
I love the dog joke wearing the dog mask
I love how open and honest you were with the furries, i loved it!
what a nice fun crowd. everyone seemed pretty game and accepting.
im writing from the year 2034, and i came here because i just wanted to say... gianmarco - never forget that YOU brought this on yourself 😮💨😂💖
At 2:40 you definitely could have built off of "plug". I don't want to think about it any more than I have to, but I swear the punchline is there somewhere.
This show was wild 😂❤ so glad you posted it!!!
I’m so glad the short didn’t spoil too much. Loved this one 😂
I think the only thing that could have made this funnier is if he started using the head like a ventriloquist's dummy.
"So, is it hard being a furry?"
Head: "It's always a little hard in the morning rolling the Prozac up into a slice of cheese."

to be, or not to be
that is the question
Alas, poor Skye! I knew him, Furatio!
@@ThePoodle to yiff oww not to yiff, dat is da question~
The slings and arrows of outrageous hunter jokes.
could not enjoy your comedy more 😊 at this point, it feels indulgent lol
The energy of the crowd and your jokes are pretty amazing for how unusual this is
It truly would be awesome if gianmarco becomes the furry ally comedian :D
New title How To Become a Furry in Less Than 10 Minutes 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Every Furry interaction I've ever had myself or have seen online is so wholesome, how can you hate those guys
As a bit of a furry myself, i love seeing it discussed in a way that isnt negative or shitty. Its super common to just mock the community without ever trying to at least understand, so its nice to see this.
Finally! A comedian who knows how to make funny furey jokes :D
2:12 Gianmarco asking a question and all three of them responding by bowing their heads is so freaking funny to me
honestly amazing job, i had to laugh a bunch as a furry myself! glad to see you had a good time with this item xD
There’s something so crazy about seeing the head being THROWN up onto stage, then held like a little trophy
This was a lot of fun to watch! Can't wait to see more
Along with being funny and amazing, this was very heartwarming as well... What an amazing guy you are Gian, much love for you 🤎🤎✌🏽✌🏽
one of my fav crowd work moments from you this was amazing 😭
Here's manifesting this to go viral
It’s a little wild to me that the furries there still used furry/internet lingo like this guy is as terminally online as the rest of us, if you gotta ask a non-furry for no animal sex jokes you gotta say “no beastiality jokes” with your whole chest or they won’t get what you’re saying
Furry Gianmarco was on my bingo card (I mean, theater kid to that isn’t much of a leap), and now I’ve almost won.
Next convention, whether it's MFF or AC or even MP, I think we need him to be the guest of honor just so he can experience a convention
Please!
@@GianmarcoSoresi You probably could get into contact with one of the conventions the most recent one I attended was Megaplex in Orlando, FL, one I know that a lot of people attend is Midwest Fur Fest, it's held in Rosemont, IL, but there's plenty of them all around the country, the biggest one being Anthrocon in Pittsburgh, PA having had almost 18k attendees at AC 2024
I hope to see you perform at a convention!
I'm mad he didn't ask the fursuit creator why all furries are suspiciously rich, I NEED ANSWERS
Bravoooooo, this was amazing!!!
You are just too good!!!!
If I recall correctly, I think I saw Sky at the Texas Fur Fiesta in March earlier this year. We played a game of Commander(Magic: the Gathering) together.
Can't wait to see you next Friday in Atlanta!!!
Finally! I was starting to wonder if maybe they asked you not to have them in a clip since I saw y’all talking after the show. We had so much fun that night.
Waiting for the leather puppies and kitties to show up at your shows now 😂
Commenting for algorithm for viral for liam to bring chewy out
lmao this is great xD
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS VÍDEO!!!!! THOSE FURRIES HEADS LOOK AMAZING ❤❤❤❤❤
You do realise that without Furries the whole of the internet would come crashing down....!
I’m watching this as I get ready for school 😭
that was really nice
What an odd collection of people here: furries, and some libertarian guy
As they say, once you put on the suit there is not coming back.
Also applies to armed crime, as Payday taught me.
I really hope this becomes viral lol!!! Will you be receiving furry fanart of yourself in the future gianmarco? Hahah
Also, Those furry masks were pretty well made! Im surprised the guy tossed it at you! Id be worried it would break or something!
