Great video, I appreciate the tips. I was just talking with my dad a couple days ago about what do i do when a musky follows my glider? This is some great advice, I will certainly try just killing it.
Awesome video! I have followers and figure eight several times. I then see the fish return back where it came from. I then pick up my other rod with large rubber minnow on it and I have her hit that pretty quick. Is that something I should stay with? I don’t see other anglers doing this.
Hey Pete, I happened to notice the reel in the video around the 0:40 mark looks awfully like a 13 Fishing Concept A3. Is that what it is? I'm looking into that reel for musky fishing.
And sometimes nothing works lol had 8 follows today on gliders and literally done a lil bit of everything you mentioned and no takers, at one point I just had my bait sitting there and the fish rubbed up against it and still nothing lol
I think there is some preference on rod length but most all would agree you want a stiff rod with fast action. I like an XH fast action. Get a straight wire leader also, preferably without a swivel on it. Easiest glide bait to learn on is a Hellhound in my opinion. Hellhound is easy enough to find also. After you get used to working the rod and reel for create the movement try a Phantom, still pretty easy but more erratic. The lure he has is on my list to get this summer. But if I started with it I may have been too frustrated to keep it up. Good luck

I hope this helps me on my trip. I've always wanted to catch a muskie and I'm about to go try my best to catch one. Wish me luck!
Hey pop! This guy is talking exactly what I’m sayin’! Just have a little plan for a bunch of instances. Loved what he said here in short form🌵🧀🎣
I love your tips, do you have any tricks for getting muskies to follow on shallow rivers where they spook do to the boat?

What is a good inexpensive rod and reel to start out with
HOT GLIDER TIPS" THANX!
Thank God Northern Pike are not as picky. They just AGGRESSIVELY STRIKE AND HIT! But for Musky… the wait is worth it and will be a memorable moment.
What setup do you use rod and reel would appreciate your knowledge on the subject
John Bergeron not sure if u want to to know what I use I use multiple shamano tranx 400 high gear with a thorn bros custom muski rods

Great advice Pete!🎣 accidentally I tried jumping up and down. Never works 😆
I’ve also tried a similar method of yelling “I got a follow” and losing control of myself. Follows are so exciting
thanks Pete!
The boat side drop. Does catch fish.
Recorded horizontally:)
