Thinking of doing Scotland for the 1st time Any comments from viewers on which is your fav and least fav centre in Scotland I’m guessing Avimoore is out as the Venicular is shut
Hi I can send you my own personal set of ratings about the 5 areas in Scotland If you want. At the moment Cairngorm, Glenshee and The Lecht are open for beginners (as of 27th dec) and Glencoe / Nevis range for sledgehammering. Cairngorm will operate skiing this year but no funicular operation- a shame because the upper runs and toes are totally skiable!
Thanks. Please like & subscribe if you want to see more. Got an epic trip planned for the season (once the snow falls) and invested heavily in gimbals, camera lenses and new GoPro's for even better video quality!
I always found that Glencoe because it was facing north, then it was always very icy given that the snow never got any sunshine ,,,,if you can ski their you can ski anywhere ....
Indeed! Its location is certainly crucial to getting bettter snow that its northern neighbour Nevis Range and with it's westerly location seems to get more precipitation in the winter than the easterly resorts. Would I say I can ski anywhere? Probably not. I fall over quite a lot as a result of pushing myself to ski harder and harder terain, often with not the best equipment or snow conditions, but I've certainly impressed a few friends with my daring exploits!
Nice video friend.
Nice vid I've been there and I love it :)
