Boy those are tough to take apart. I’m not gonna complain about the Wings or the Spyder anymore! In defense of the owner of that bike that dirt from gravel/dirt roads gets in everything. You really ought to see my car. I live at the end of a mile of red clay and gravel roads gets and it is everywhere. And when it’s wet it cakes on like the fenders on those Mexico RT’s. Makes ya wish you had an ultrasonic bath for your bike! LOL Anyway I suppose you aren’t going to do too many of those. Still a sunshiny 75 degrees here in the ‘Sip. Rain later. Oil in the stator connection? Well, any past Kawasaki ZX-12r owner could tell you nightmare stories about that! Crankcase pressure would force oil up inside the stator wire harness all the way to the regulator connection under the Pax seat! Then it would drip out onto the rear tire. You had to see it with your own eyes to believe oil could wick that far. Fun stuff on a ZX12! Recall on the early A&B models before Kawasaki completely redesigned it.
The night crew used a little sense in leaving this to THE EXPERT!!! Sorry. Lol. Dry out and you are in dire need of a couple of chill pills today. Stay safe and hopefully all that rain catches a train to Canada😂

I'd hate to see the repair bill. Probably 50% of the bike's value, if not worse.
