Would this be the same process if uploading photos directly from a MacBook instead of an iPhone?

Unfortunately, the answer is no, as Synology have not made a Photos app for macOS.
So you would load Synology Photos from within a browser, and then use the upload button to transfer your photos into the Photos app.
Alternatively you can also copy and paste your photographs into the folder called photos, which will be in your home folder.
Then once the photo is added to Synology Photos it will automatically sync with your iPhone.
      hope this answers your query.

Can you make a video about how to assess Synology via internet? And How to back up photos from phone to Synology via Internet too?

@@LengSovannareach-p8g Making backups of photos from phone to Synology via internet, should automatically happen in the background once your NAS is accessible over the internet. However before I make a video on how you make your NAS accessible over the internet I need to cover making your NAS security.
So there are a number of videos I am currently working on that will include topics like firewalls, 2fa, notications and basic setting. So expect to start seeing those videos in September, and hopefully a video on accessing a NAS over here internet sometime in October/November
