isnt that the case for most lego IP sets .. be it DC, Marvel or Star wars! .. its pure greed from lego. they should release the minifigs seperately so that people dont have to buy $100 sets to get them. just look at what they did with Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet and stones in the last wave. shameful!

I actually think the Igor model is okay. Whole set it brilliant. Wish the outriders were 2 more armor suits instead. I also wish the set was a bit cheaper so it would be more easily mass-able. The completionist in me would want to collect all the different Iron Man Lego figures I could if I ever bought this set.
Yeah they could've removed the outriders and added the Starboost and Hot Rod iron man Armors, or any iron man armor that didn't need extra pieces like red snapper.

Hey Jang, 9:52 you said mark 5 wasn't as good as the others. It is because in the second iron man movie it has silver arms mixed with red. Probably would have been better to give the figure silver arms and red hands.

In Germany we got discounts from Day 1 on these sets too, but not as big a reduction. For example, department store Galeria Kaufhof has the big ones for 5 Euro off. Good review Jang. I like that Igor. Even the onscreen Igor was kind of blocky. No biggie. But the Mark 1 rules!
I already have one of this set and love it. I'm planning on buying a second one, and stacking them so I can fit all of my suits in it. I'd highly recommend this set.
I think the MkV needs a bit of silver on the arms. And Igor? They could/should have used the Nexo Knights mech cockpit. I built a mini-Hulk Buster and mini-Warmachine "buster" out of them and they look pretty decent.
I managed to get this for 30% off here in New Zealand within the first few days of release (it was 20% at one retailer, and I got a further 10% off using a price match deal at the shop I bought it from). I think that is the biggest discount I've ever had on a new release set so can't complain at all! Now to find the time to actually build it... Thanks for the review Jang, great as always!
This is one of the most desirable Iron Man sets they've ever made! It works for any Iron Man movie, not jus Endgame, I'm sure! The next thing they should make to add to this set are more Iron Man suits! In polybags or something (unless you want to buy older sets and add them to the Hall of Armor, but that would be costly!) Igor looks really strange, especially the face, it's not terrible, but it could be better. The Hall itself is super cool, configure it any way you want, so in all, a fantastic set!
I’ve had this set for about 3 weeks now. I really like this set. The set is really good and something i’ve desired for long. Of course many of the things could’ve been removed, lowering the price without impacting it too much like the Igor (mark 38) build, the outriders, the table with the coffee mug or even a couple of booths from the side. The outriders could have been removed or replaced with new (or even some old) iron man suits, like Mark 25, 16, or mark 3. Overall the set is still really good. It’s just a bit too expensive for it’s own good.
I hope lego atleast makes a iron man pack with 5 figures like striker or red snapper, heart breaker or even disko or another one of my favorites cilver centerian.
Lego made a Mark II back in 2013 for their Iron Man 3 sets. Granted it was the War Machine version, but remove the ?figure to stud? jumper plate and it's the basic Mark II

It's a good set in my opinion. I am just disappointed that the vacant areas that they filled with miscellaneous tools, etc., did not have the metallic slotted wedge pieces. The vacant slots would be nice to fill with other Iron Man suits but the lack of metallic silver slotted wedge style pieces keeps it from staying uniform with the others. Thanks for the in depth review. My personal opinion of this set does not take away from the greatness your videos have provided. *Thumbs up!

I'm not gonna lie I really like Igor. its not perfect, but I give it huge points for being brick-built and pretty well scaled as well! I also like the possibility, and actually fitting someone inside of it!! once again, not perfect, but better than anything I could've though up! my only issues are the gaps, and the lower face. once again, I am a HUGE fan of mark 38, and I think this is a pretty good representation, and with a little modding, I can make it awesome!

I doubt we'll ever see those kinds of discounts in the UK unfortunately. I was under the impression that stores aren't allowed to discount lego sets which are still in production and have only ever seen discounts on old sets (released in previous waves or years) in supermarkets or on excess stock of old sets in LEGO stores. I just do not see that changing.

This set gives some nice inspiration on how to make a cool sigfig or minifig display I think! Could be cool to see someone do somethin like that for sure! Love repetition and variation, and this fits the bill. Plus it gives me a lovely place for my extra iron folk. Jang, nice work, as always, although you went a little psycho on the flexibility. Your just keep flexin' it.
It's too bad about the computer station and the HUD's not showing up too well. Part of the problem is the anti-studs you can see through the transparency. Square flag pieces would have been preferable, but I don't think they have them in any transparent colors :(
They honestly should make a Mk 25/Striker suit, honestly. Well, actually a number of different suits including Striker: Gamma, Disco, Nightclub, Blue Steel, Mk 2, Shotgun, Red Snapper, Southpaw, Fiddler, Midas, Mks 11, 12, 13, 14, Sneaky (which was the successor for Nightclub), Romeo (named that for the MASSIVE heart-shaped RT it has), Python (a long-distance suit mainly because it has more energy stored in it) Hot Rod, Tank, Jack, Peacemaker, and Tiger. I have a feeling those might not be ALL the Iron Man suits of armor, but those were all that I could remember as of right now.
I honestly also think they should make a pack or two of Iron Legionare minifigures, for those that are wanting to go absolutely crazy with making an Iron Legion after seeing Age of Ultron

I think the jetpack in the back looks a bit awkward because it is iron man he flys without the jetpack every other set with iron man in it has thrusters in its legs

Y'know, I don't think Igor looks that bad. I get what you mentioned, it could've been designed better in a lot of areas, but if you place in a gray/silver or blue Iron Man body would help fix the sore thumb that is the RED suit inside a BLUE mech.

I dont understand the point of the big stickers. They are awesome but end up being covered up by bricks.

Igor is a construction suit, for demolishing buildings. Tony with his PTSD after New York, build the majority of his suit before iron man 3

For my birthday I want the rest of the sets and I have captain America outrider attack and I thought of making a lego ultimate compound by using all five sets

They did add a piece to bulk it up. That's what the jetpack's for.
Would 2 sets be enough to go full circle or need 3 sets? Will get this but not sure how many though
Y'know, I don't think Igor looks that bad. I get what you mentioned, it could've been designed better in a lot of areas, but if you place in a gray/silver or blue Iron Man body would help fix the sore thumb that is the RED suit inside a BLUE mech.
I will hopefully be getting this set as well as the clayface invasion set
Hey Jang, 9:52 you said that you feel that the figure is not as good as the others. It's because in the second iron man movie the suit has silver and red arms. For the set it would've probably been better if it had silver arms and red hands.
