its so true, i wish i wasnt a big comic fan as it really ruins the MCU movies, i find it really hard to watch them with everything they change and get wrong about the characters, i bet if i didnt have this knowlege id enjoy the movies much more
@@theaces3697 Personally, I don't view it as them "getting them things wrong" as much as the characters in movies being completely different adaptations where the creators had a bit of license in making them differently. Everything in the comics wouldn't be able to translate over accurately, so I just view them as completely different universes and it helps me enjoy the films a lot more.

Great review. From the trailer Rhodey was actually not wearing the same version of the quantum suit as the rest, his was shaped more like his usual modern armor. especially because this one has no arc reactor (power source) in the chest!
Wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out the suits in the film are nanotechnology that just covers the existing uniforms, hence Rhodies suit looking like his armor,... but considering the money saved per minifig (considering I don’t know of a single exclusive mold in this run) they could’ve given war machine a different paint job

@@watevr4evr Endgame is over a month ago now, anyone who *really* wanted to see it has seen it. If you go to a video about something concerning one of the most popular movies of all time over a month after it's premiered and expect to not see spoilers, that's your fault.

The use of the exact same quantum realm torso and legs on every Avenger is the most disappointing thing in this wave. Extremely lazy by LEGO :(
*Extremely accurate by LEGO (with the exception of War Machine, as whether or not he puts his suit on before or after entering the quantum realm is to be seen, it looks wrong to have a war machine helmet, but not the suit).
Really lazy...and the female torso is the same of males...really bad 😓
@@star-lord3079 I don't care as much about the gender differentation as I do the fact that the war machine's should be bulkier as part of his armor, at least showing the arc reactor.
My thoughts. I wouldn’t have minded some of the other Avengers but Thor and Cap at least needed their unique suits...

Iron Man: blaster hands* (No arc reactor or metal body surprisingly enough)
War machine: more metallic, arc reactor
Rocket: small, tail-hole*
Hulk: big
Ant-Man: thumb buttons* (No belt for the thecnical stuff)
*Hard to impossible to do with LEGO
I'm almost certain that these suits will be like the shoes from back to the future

With all the Quantum Realm suits coming in these Endgame sets it's reminding me of The LEGO Batman movie. Like how there were a lot of orange jumpsuits in those.

I'm not sufficiently into the MCU to buy a bunch of the sets (plus it's a completionist's nightmare), but I love the design of the new Iron Man and War Machine helmets with the articulated visor. Lego really needs to bring back the Knights line with their modern production quality and a bunch of new higher-detail pieces.

The cockpit is really nicely enclosed, better than some of the previous Hulkbusters IMO.
First thing I'm doing is rebuilding the back so that the giant gatling gun is on a sliding base as seen in the War Machine 1.0 from Iron Man 2. It's such a cool design element and the back of the mech seems perfect for adding it back in.
I like the colour combination of the set but I think that it’s kind of weird that we have gotten so many hulkbuster style sets in such a short time. Great review though.

Ant-Man is the character that looks the best in the Quantum Realm suit. Thor is probably the worst. He isn’t wearing a cape and that’s really weird.

Those suits will be awesome for mass-able armies. Like storm trooper suits but arguably these are cooler.

I wonder how the War Machine Buster mesures up to last year's Hulk Buster? They look the same size, I could be wrong, not sure... But I really like this set, this Buster is very cool and looks fierce with the multiple weapons! Can't wait to see the movie to learn more about those Quantum suits, this may be one of the downside of these new sets: same suits for everyone... And how cool would it have been if they added Giant-Man in this set? They did it before, it would have been very cool! Awesome review, Jang!

I would have preferred it if the new helmet mold was the old one just with the chinstrap moved up to cover the mouth and a flat slope covering the gap under the mouth that that would create. The old helmet was a really good representation of the mask with the mouth cover taken off, it's just that he only took the mask cover off when he was full size
I love the Ant-Man helmet and the war machine, helmet something about it is so cool, to me.

NieMonD It’s cause it’s not in it, neither is caps bike, nor the hall of armour , the compound was completely different and the ultimate quintet was in the movie for about 20 seconds all together, LEGO really dropped the ball.

I think this is a fantastic set for $35. Though perhaps I like Marvel more than most.
What I like is that it's ONLY the Buster and some tiny, junky side build isn't included.
I usually point the flick fire missles upwards to make them look like extra missiles
I’m not going to lie, especially in the thumbnail the light reflections off the helmet’s face looks like a smiling face. (Deadmau5 Buster?)

I really like this set and look forward to picking it up. My biggest gripe though is once again they did not give War Machine proper bulk. LEGO has so many great armor pieces with studs and clips on the back to attach his shoulder gun AND give him proper bulk as he has always been huge compared to everyone else and continues to get bigger and bulkier with every new armor iteration. A printed minifig torso just doesn't cut it, especially one shared by every other Avenger in this wave! Just look at him in the trailer when hes walking next to everyone else in the suits, he's huge!

I actually like the idea with the same exact uniform, I don't like Avengers that much anyway, but the suits looks so cool that I will probably just make an army of them instead, or make them mecha pilots or something
I'm surprised none of the new Outriders use Rio Durant's double arm piece, since the Outriders canonically have 4 arms, not 6. Not even sure if there are any with 2 arms.

rhodie? is inside an iron man armor, inside a quantom suit, inside a hulkbuster armor that was recolored and decked out to look like his own buster armor. but then why didn't they just apply some quantom containment technology to the already well contained ironman suit and gah...

My theory of this is that because they included Ant Man, this isnt even a hulbuster suit for him but it's actually supposed to be a big fig of War Machine and Ant Man is actually shrunken down here

the war machine buster armour does not appear at all in any of the Marvel films, and that is including Endgame.

I just picked one up today for myself and I really hate the lack of elbows, granted it gives it better proportions TBH. once the semester ends I plan on messing around with this to try and add some knees and elbows.

I prefer the orginal antman because of its charm level. I get that this one is more accurate but what if one day lego decides to start creating really realistic figures? Sure they would look more real but they wouldnt be as charming as the figures we have now

About Ant Man helmet, I just don't like the fact that they changed the eyes of the mask. I liked the old eyes, but the fact that the mask is closed is great

I think if the head was moved up a bit above the shoulders between the weapons, the thing would look more impressive and also would come closer to the 35 dollar price point.
I don’t know squat about Avengers so i could be missing the real shape with that, but just my feeling on the head design.
it may looked small compared to what it looked on the box art, but at least it's fairly priced.

Honestly, I just want this set to use the WMB as a stand-in for Iron Monger.
War Machine actually is supposed to have the red triangle in the chest of his quantum suit. I'm not sure if Lego didn't know that or if they were just lazy.
The Infinity War Hulkbuster also had a triangular Arc Reactor, but LEGO also used a 1x1 tile for that one. I think it's the closest thing they have to a small triangle without using a sticker. They could have used the 1x1 corner tiles rotated slightly, but those don't exist in any transparant colors yet.

Looking at the stickers this is just rhodey suit from endgame but to a larger scale there's never appears in the movie that big it does appear but has a normal Iron Man suit

Why doesn’t Tony make the hulkbusters in nano tech? Why isn’t war machine’s Armor in nano tech? So many questions so little time
Noobi Kenoobi Different models, and stark didn’t have enough time to give it to rhodey
Something that really annoys me and doesn't get talked about enough is the lack of a nano-fig / shrunken version of Ant-Man.
If it's a kids play set made for kids with play in mind, and it includes a character who's main ability is shrinking, it should always include the shrunken version of them.
LEGO should not have put the regular version of Ant-Man in a $35 set with no nano/micro version of him. And then put the actual nano/micro version of him in a $100 set. (which doesn't even include a regular version of Ant-Man)
So if kids want to reenact a scene where Ant-Man shrinks, they'll need to also buy the $100 set. :/
