Great job on the build I would love to see a couple detailed pictures of the Springs you talk about on the tail wheel assembly Can't wait for the maiden Hopefully the beginning of March my bearcat will be here
David your attention to detail is exceptional. I can appreciate the thought and time that goes in to a build like this when one of your goals is to make it easier for other end users. Nice delivery on all your thoughts. I know a experienced builder when I hear micro balloons...lol. Was there a big difference in the weight of the two horizontal spars? Sometimes I've seen a choice for balance purposes depending on the weight of the power choice. So well done David...looking forward to the maiden!
Thank you Adam for all your k8nd words. The reason I went with the aluminum spar im the tsil vs the carbon was actually the fit. It had a firmer fitment and held the horizontals more securely when they were screwed in. Since this model was intended for a large gas engine the electric setup was significantly lighter. When I had to add 2lbs to the nose to cg the plane I wasn't really surprised. Ironically though it still fell well within the weight estimate I planned for. Now I just need some good weather!
Awesome airplane and first class build. Looking forward to the maiden.

@@davidsnyder238 Gotcha...I converted a Hangar 9 Sopwith Camel to electric...needed a ton of ballast with the short nose.
