The weird thing about ranking the rooms is that Steelers are likely going to be running more 3 TE sets than the NFL has seen in a long time. Seems like the TE grades were based on receiving expectations, but if Pittsburgh does pull off some amazing run game backed by TE blocking for 80% of their snaps, does that push them up ranks?

Yes. But more importantly Dorsey the new OC and Stefanski the HC both historically love TEs, 2Te sets, and first look Te plays. Im kind of surprised that they only have Akins at Te2 and not an upgrade. (Akins has played with Deshaun prior to Cleveland as well I guess).
Russ doesnt like 3step then into the middle. Thats like half a tight ends skill set. If a guy doesnt pass over the middle, Te cant flourish. Just look at Njoku. Years with Baker - mid. Years post Baker - top 5 guy. How does Baker play? Peal outside the hash and toss it down the sideline.
Let me get this straight. Tanner Hudson in 12 games had 39 rec 352 yards 1 td and Freiermuth who also played 12 games had 32 rec 308 yards 2 tds. Hudson might not even make the Bengals roster but I'm to believe the Steelers TE room is better than the Bengals. 😂😂😂
