This is really good, I am tyring to build something similar. Can you help me understand how are you controlling the N20 motor rotation precisely? since we need to move strip 2mm/4mm etc. Any way to get in touch with you please.
@@DoTheDiy Thanks brother, would it be too much to ask to see the setup? i mean how everything is arranged. My feeder has a height restriction and tricky setup
I have validated the design all aspects are working . I am using a Lilygo t-display S3 as master, I have explored creating a nice gui for it using LVGL lib. Wireless communication is working pretty well. One change I have to do for which I have again redesigned the pcb is for replacing 3.3v LDO with a buck converter as esp8266 starts consuming 1w from 12v to 3.3v conversion. I can delay this change for later since it only brings in efficiency and when multiple feeders will be installed Iot of energy will be wasted
Use holes in tape via laser and ldr it will work as encoder Allignment of nozzle can be adjusted later were to pic from Speed needs to be increased with gear motor encoder from tape will help
Hi there. have you been able to do any updates on this feeder design? will you make this open-source? Thanks in advance. Great work!
it has gone to back burner. Will revisit and resume the work on this again. Feeders are ready testing is pending

I am using AS5600 10bit encoder. Closed loop setup

@@SatyaGupta you can join openpnp discord and msg me there I will b able to share details there discord.com/invite/GSvNkpZD
Watching for progress on this. Seriously would like to buy a kit or even just the pcb file/stuff to put one or two together to demo.
I am working on the main machine at the moment. Design is almost final now so I will be ordering the precut aluminium extrusion soon

Cool 🎉 can you please share the files? 😮
@@DoTheDiy cool looking forward to hearing from you!
I thought about that but the power consumption has turned me away from that.

Hmm pls design and share the feeder then... Use the transparent tape with your laser and ldr.. once ready pls ping me
@@DoTheDiy not the transparent tape bro
Tape in which component sit white one which have holes
@@arjitsharma1364 smt tapes come in 3 types paper, black plastic and transparent.. transparent tape will not work.

any updates?
Don't have any update on the feeder at the moment . I am assembling the main PNP machine at the moment. Once that is done will return bk to the feeder
