If the o-ring is leaking, give us a call. It's out of tolerance. We'll fix it for free.

APR>... All of them seem to do this (MQB Version "New out of Box") Hence the reason for doing this...

Hey APR, is the installation orientation of the silver plate in the catch can correct in this video? (At 7:19)

This was a great tutorial on how to fix what appears to be a fairly universal problem with what is otherwise an extremely well reviewed product. Can you speak to how your solution held up after long term use and whether or not you had to revise anything about your solution long term after making this video?

It’s still running leak free. No changes

Yeah, I gotta say, 1 great video, 2 the fact that you basically refurbished a new product is just wild. The one I got from CTS is similar , SO i will test fit it on my atlas 2.0t. So i can order it instead of this. Cheers! Good Work!

Another great catch can is the CTS catch can. Replaces the pvc plate and works awesome. I need to drain mine out asap

How's it been holding up 2 months later? I have one on backorder for my S3. Price is attractive, just haven't seen much on them

For 700 bucks I really shouldn't have to take this piece apart ever haha

@rl9513 yeah, fun story the plate caused my particular use case to basically build crank case pressure instantly and APR can't answer anything about the product or what was happening so now I have a spare plate with nothing to use it on

If it’s the best.. why does majority of the VW community use the RacingLine Catch Can set up for 500hp plus builds.

I asked myself the same question?

What garbage products from this company! Why not just buy a better product from a much better company? They need to buy back every single unit they sold and replace it.

I dont understand why there is so little baffling. Especially the single plate having its only channel being at the bottom, where it cpuld suck oil pooling at the bottom. Would be more effective with the opening at the top. I'm fairly disappointed in this design. Nissan had better baffles on stock valve covers 30 years ago.

What specific issue was the smaller o ring leaking causing?

Great video and content! Million dollar question, has it improved performance as advertised on APR's website? Is the juice worth the squeeze?

not something you do for performance, but the stock plate doesn't hold up long to 29+ psi or hard-braking on track.

excellent video, thank you for this! any impressions/updates after you've been running it for a while? I just installed this same system with a mid December 22 run date on the bag, and I'm leaking like crazy from both the spots you have outlined, blowing huge white smoke clouds on any spirited acceleration. 0-ring are on order.

I installed back in November on my A3 8V, I'm having a leak around the top plates box that connects to the 10AN fitting. On the back side of the block.
I'm planning to take it apart today and use new RTV to seal the box. Luckily my tube/pipe o-ring is still okay.
