Graft paper lines are equal distant in both directions creating a multitude of squares. But beads are not square in profile. The ones you are using are longer than they are wide. This causes a stretched design pattern. Perhaps use the computer and create lines to the same proportion as the beads.
It's always interesting to see that people watching makers videos on youtube think they know better than the actual maker making the video. Do you really think it's know something I considered when I made it and didn't think the whole build through before making it and publishing the video? That's exactly the look I was going for and I'm really pleased with the result.
wow,,I love this tutorial.Makes me want to try it..So beautiful..I love the Bracelet....Where can i get the same exact beads?...Keep up the good work,,

What is the length of your beaded headband? Thank you for the video!
22cmx5cm. Thanks for watching!
@@RedSmithWorkshop Thank you. Mine is 29cm. I’m worried it’s too long. I guess I can always shorten it by taking some beads off
@@sandyboyd2068 Absolutely. Measure the length you need and create your design accordingly😊
I'm just learning to use a loom. I do beading with delica seed beads. I make earrings, bracelets & cases for bic lighters.
Nice, I hope you're having fun with it :)
The Redsmith I'm trying to. I don't have any patterns yet, so I think that I'm going to make USA flag bracelet
You should try to do your own patterns. It's more work, but more fun and a good way to learn :)
The Redsmith thank u for the encouragement.
How did you make your loom it look good and it look good style love the colour of the beads
I used strips of plywood and two springs. It's simple rectangle, very easy to build and cheaper than the ones you can buy. Thanks for watching!
Yes and as I catch up I see part two is ready haha 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
And part III is on its way :)
The Redsmith I'm sitting at my computer in anticipation haha this is exciting seeing it unfold 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I do. But it's expensive

Is there like anywhere where I can find what supplies I need? thanks
You should find it in any craft shop I think. I bought mine in a local shop called Cultura. But I live in France, so...
Ok thanks ,one more, how many of the black feathers did you use and do you know from what bird they are?
I think I used 25 of them. It was goose feather, dyed in black. The little ones were rooster's feather. I hope it helps :)
Thanks
