I am Native American, and though this style war bonnet has no place in my tribe, I want to take a moment to say that I think it is cool that so many people are interested in this. Many Indigenous and Native American groups disagree with these kinds of things but I love it! Why did they take the woman off of the land o lakes logo? It was cool! Why did they change the Redskins logo? It was cool too! Im tired of people disregarding the fact that some of these "stereotypes" are a source of pride and acknowledgment of native culture. In other words, keep it up! Also, try to do research on the subject too!
I saw your post of the feathers a while back and had no idea what the were for. Now it has contexts. I'm tempted to say forget my earlier advice about posting them every other day. lol.
Hello, here is a link to the Instructable I wrote few months back, there is a list of everything you need : www.instructables.com/id/Native-American-Headdress-War-Bonnet/
Hey, I’ve seen some war bonnets where there is a part of the back side of the bonnet that extends down to hang off the back with more feathers and such. You should do a tutorial to make that part too!
@@RedSmithWorkshop Pretty cool, never seen a bonnet creation before.. I’m always very cautious with feathers.. thanks for sharing this☀️ have a good day
