Your discussion about rotational mass explained a problem I was having with my off-road buggy. A couple of years ago, I switched my rear tires from a set of lightweight 22x11-8 tires and rims to some beefy 24x11-10 wheels to give me more off-road clearance. Yes, it helped with clearance, but I started having issues with the rear axles. Snapped two of them. I knew the tires were heavier but I didn't think they were THAT much heavier. Well, yes they are much heavier once you calculate in rotational mass. I was already thinking about going back to the smaller tires and this video really clinched it. I picked up a set of 22x11-10 tires that weigh almost nothing and it makes the rear end feel much lighter.
I have watched all of your videos . Where can I find more information on building crosskart ? I am a 17 year army veteran and would like to start building crosskart after I build my shop
So cool and thank you! And a HOOAH from a prior 13F. This entire channel is dedicated to building a crosskart in your garage. Links to plans, a build forum, components list and playlists are all in the description. Take a peek and study up. After you have the plans join us in the build group for any questions that come up. We are building more than crosskarts, we are building a community.
Hello sir, I want to ask is if its ok to use a single cylinder 110cc 4speed engine on a crosscart. Because that engine is all i had right now at my garage
I try to make it when I can but military obligations make me miss them sometimes. I’m bringing one to Charles’s dirty 30 for everyone to take a spin in. I hope to see you there!
I think for such a light weight car rotating mass is definitely a factor. Bigger tires are cool but can rob power. There is definitely a balance of size/performance/ground clearance.
@@KJRaycing Thanks….soooo I bought them already and will run them since they’re already mounted and everything. Too much trouble to turn back now. With a 600cc engine which size sprocket would you recommend? This kart is for my wife….she won’t be driving that aggressively anyways.
I'm in Cortez saw that Jim and Keith said people where trying to sell these, looked on Facebook and saw one in Durango Colorado at first glance I thought he was selling a vf1 looks similar even the same motor and suspension. It's not a vf1 my dad's going to check it out
The entire channel is based on showing you how to build an amazing machine and I show you how people all over the world are having successful builds from getting the plans and following the series… so you could say you posted a dickhead comment, right? The hardest part is to start, and I hope you get the courage up to start a build. I wish you the best.
Water from the melting snow I’m guessing. We drive the budget kart ALL of the time. It’s just quick and easy fun, I’m starting to figure out why everyone loves the predator engines so much.
It varies wildly… it depends on how you source parts, what donor engine you use and the current price of steel. There is a video on my channel that can help you figure out build cost and how to break it out so you don’t have to fund the full build up front (I do it in stages to help with cost). I wish you the best 🦾

Man that is so awesome! Thank you so much and I’m glad it helped 👍

@KJRaycing yea i hear you im active as well. Can't wait
What do you think about 26” sunF street tires on 14” rims?

I mod the old page non plan holder
Hi, what suspension do you use?
Check out the suspension video in the channel
How much for plans where do i go to order
Check the description for links to everything. Enjoy the build 🦾
How much are the frame kits?
More than you want to pay
@@KJRaycing with a dickhead response like that, you're right

there are no 'frame kits'
What's dripping on the floor?

Try gooldspeed tyres
Very hard to get in the states. Hoosiers are the US version.
Great now I have two random new 32” tires I have no idea what to do with
Run em!!! 😁 I would love to see a big wheel version.
If anyone has built one from the plans, what was the final cost
