My lime green hair faded, and I wanted to find a way to switch out the color without removing or bleaching the previous green!

Brianna Elizabeth yeah i wonder that too lol i would probably have bald patches by now.
She doesn't bleach her hair, only her roots. And direct dye doesn't damage your hair
Brianna Elizabeth You don't need to do anything else than bleach your hair once to achieve a base and then use direct dyes that are basically conditioners. They will fade away or then you can use a colour remover which doesn't contain peroxide nor ammonia to get rid of the hair colour molecules. Then repeat. It's as healthy as any well kept blonde.
Brianna Elizabeth It's very damaged.... Not hating on her but her hair is not healthy. Price you pay of wanting pretty hair.

Mandy Aliens You don't really have to bleach your hair much. You bleach all of it before you dye it for the first time and after that the only time you need to use bleach is when you've got visible roots :)

lol ok HOWWWW. im convinced your hair is magic. it just releases color after a week. mine on the other hand clings to it for dear life and i have to use color fix and bleach washes just to get the color to fade!

The reason the ends fade faster is because the ends of your hair will be more damaged (porous) than the hair closer to the root! Which means the ends let go of the colour faster. So it naturally will fade ombre ish :P

hey Brittany, watching your video I decided to dye my hair by myself. I wanted to buy the colors you used (aquamarine and poseidon) but unfortunately the brand you are using does not ship in my country which is Italy. so, if you know other brands that have those same colors and that actually ship worldwide, including Italy, that would be great! I have no idea where to search that's why I'm asking to you, I really love how you do your hair and I trust your advice. hope you will answer.
